Install FIFA 23 Mods: Use Mod Manager

How do you actually install mods in FIFA 23? What do you have to consider when installing the Mod Manager and how does the tool work? One or two players of the new FIFA 23 who would like to get more out of the game will perhaps be concerned with these questions. Similar to some older parts, there are also a whole range of mods for FIFA 23. The modifications include useful tools like “Unlock All” or other gameplay mods like “Player Career Mode Realism Progression,” which can be used to make the career mode a little more realistic.

Install mods in FIFA 23

The easiest way to use many of the currently available FIFA 23 mods is to use this Mod Manager from the FIFA Editing Toolsuite to install. The FIFA Editing Toolsuite not only includes a mod manager, but also an editor with which you can create mods for FIFA 23 yourself. Since some mods are now created using the tool, you can also use the Mod Manager to install and manage the mod. The Mod Manager is pretty much self-explanatory. After you have downloaded and unpacked or installed the tool, all you have to do is select and import the mods. The tool does the rest all by itself. The mods can be downloaded from various websites, including the well-known mod website nexusmods.com.

  1. Download and unzip Mod Manager.
  2. Start FIFA Mod Manager.exe and select the game (installation path should be detected automatically).
  3. Import the mods at the bottom left and install the mod via “Apply Mod(s)”.

Since some mods are also “cheats”, use them at your own risk. The mods are actually only used for the single player in the form of the career mode, but there are also cheat mods such as a cheat table and that could under certain circumstances be viewed as a cheat. So far we have not heard of any cases of a ban and we have tested the Realism mod ourselves for some time, but you never know.

FIFA 23 Mods on PS4, PS5 or Xbox One/Series?

So far you can only install and use the mods in the PC version of FIFA 23. The mods must be installed as described via the mod manager or manually and this is currently (and probably in the near future) only possible on the PC.
