Need for Speed Heat: Use fast travel

Is there a fast travel feature in Need for Speed Heat? If so, how can you use fast travel in the new NfS Heat to get from point A to point B faster? In the new Need for Speed part, a large open game world awaits the player. The map is comparatively large and it takes some time if you want to move from left to right or from top to bottom on the map. While the first few journeys are usually quite interesting, sometimes you just want to get to your destination quickly and a fast journey would be quite practical. But does such a thing even exist?

Need for Speed Heat: This is how fast travel works

Similar to its predecessor, the new Need for Speed Heat also has a fast travel function that allows you to get from one side of the map to the other side at the push of a button. Fast travel is unlocked right at the start of the game and can be used at any time via the map. The fast travel points are the garages (the house symbol on the map), which you gradually unlock on the map by simply driving to the garage and entering it.

  • Open the map, view all symbols and select a garage.
  • You can use fast travel using the triangle button (PS4) or the Y button (Xbox One).

Fast travel not working?

If fast travel doesn’t work in Need for Speed Heat, there could be various reasons. Either you have not yet unlocked the garage and therefore it cannot be used as a fast travel point (recognizable by the lock symbol) or you are traveling at night and the “heat” is too high. In this case, you first have to drive to a garage so that the heat drops again and then fast travel should be available again.

Can you actually sell a car in Need for Speed Heat?
