With the item “Schillerpin” you can increase the probability of finding a Shiny Pokemon from 1:4096 to 1:1365. Although this is still rare, it is significantly better than before, especially since as a shiny hunter you can still use chaining, as mentioned. With a little luck and, above all, grinding, sooner or later you will come across the shiny Pokemon you are looking for and be able to catch it.
