What does the lock symbol mean in the Pokemon summary in Pokemon Scarlet and Purple?

In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, there are certainly a lot to be confused. After all, it’s one of the first open-world games in the franchise, so it would be weird if there wasn’t a fair amount of confusion. But, one thing that makes gamers scratch their heads is the existence of a mysterious padlock icon. It looks like this icon is seen in the Pokemon summary, on the far right, next to gender. What does it mean?

What does the padlock symbol in scarlet and purple mean?

To be honest, the answer is… not clear, the best. Editors on r/PokemonScarletViolet were curious about that very enigma. It seems there is several possibilities:

  • the lock icon is an unused property left visible for some reason.
  • it’s an indicator that says ‘my cannot be released or exchanged.
  • it’s an indicator that says ‘my cannot be renamed.

Related: How to rename Pokémon Surprise Trade in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple

If the first idea is correct, it would be barely to be the most surprising thing about Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. But, and maybe it’s the young optimist in me, I want to believe the symbol means something. In the subreddit, a user claims to have tested the third hypothesis. They claim to have acquired a ‘my stranger, and while the icon was still dark, they were unable to rename it. So, at the time of writing, it would appear that the most likely possibility is the second: the icon lights up when a ‘mon cannot be freed or exchanged. If this is found to be incorrect at any time in the future, we will update this article accordingly.

How to Use Controls in Pokémon Stadium for Nintendo Switch

When Nintendo released the expansion pack for Nintendo Switch Online, they promised that many games from the previous generation would be brought to this new level of NSO. Fast forward to April 2023, and with the plethora of games already included, they’ve added the classic Pokémon Stadium N64 to NSO. From battling with the original 151 Pokemon, to hanging out and playing mini-games, it’s all here. However, the layout of the N64 controller is very different from Nintendo’s current generation console. Since this game was basically ported to the Switch, the control prompts still show up for the games original console. Causing a lot of confusion for players as they try to navigate the game blind. Fear not Pokemon trainers, we’re going to find out how to use Pokemon Stadium controls for Nintendo Switch.

How to Use Controls in Pokémon Stadium for Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo 64’s controller layout is a bit foreign by today’s standards. Comparing it to the Switch joystick or pro controller, you might notice a lot less buttons on the Switch. Who knows why Nintendo decided to include a joystick in the middle of the controller. But now, it’s up to us to decode this enigma to be able to fight with other trainers. Even though Nintendo includes a digital user guide for its N64 games, it seems the guide for Pokémon Stadium isn’t quite right. Fortunately, not all controls are incorrect.

Related: All N64 Games in the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack

Buttons A and B on your Switch controller always correspond to the respective buttons in the game. Like these buttons, your R and L triggers should also work fine in game. Where it starts to fall apart is when the game wants you to use the N64 yellow directional buttons. Obviously, there are no yellow buttons like that for the Switch, but all hope is not lost. You will be able use switch right stick for all pokemon stadium yellow directional buttons. For example, if you are trying to add a Charmander to your active lineup and need to press the right yellow arrow, move the right stick to the right. Now it’s up to you to take on your enemy in the arena and hope that the button layout is most of your worry.

The Ultimate Trick to Earn Mass Credit in Pokémon TCG Live!

In Pokémon TCG Live, the virtual currency that allows us to buy cards to build decks is called “Credits”. It’s these little blue coins at the top right of the screen if you’re playing on PC, that you spend in exchange for a card. You can even choose different rarities/artwork. These coins are becoming rare and the means to obtain them en masse are not legion. Today, I’m going to share with you the ultimate trick to get a lot of them!

Celebrate your decks!

The technique consists of filling the “Celebration” collection as quickly as possible because it only has 24 cards, so it fills up quite quickly. The goal of the game will be to open boosters with the crystals, but not only…

JCC online codes

So, yes, crystals are not easily obtained and therefore you cannot buy boosters often Celebrations Or other. But who tells you about crystals? The trick is to get lots of online codes that you find in each booster that you open in real life, and to insert the code in the TCG Pokémon Live. The limit is currently 400 codes per extension boosterotherwise, we have plenty to do.

I bought them en masse from a seller on Cardmarket for 0.35 cents per unit, it’s the average price at the moment and it’s really worth it!

Fill the series

Once the extension is complete, you will still have to open these boosters virtually because with every fifth copy of a card, it will be automatically converted into credits ! Imagine that you have the full set with 4 copies of each card, and that for each 4-card booster you pocket credits instead of cards… At a rate of 100 credits per card on averagemore the ultra-rare which are more around 300/400 creditsI guarantee that the lack of credits will no longer be a problem.

Best alternative of the moment

I think there is no better in terms of credit farming nowadays. If you have a lot of crystals in stock, go and exchange them for in-game Celebration boosters and complete the series as much as you can.

It takes an average of 6000 credits for a good deck, you know what you have to do! This trick can also work on any other series, provided it is complete with 4 copies of each card. But Celebrations is much easier to implement thanks to its small size in terms of collection.

Pokémon Legends ZA: What does the word ‘soeyue’ mean in the game’s first trailer? This is the secret message of the Unown

During the first Pokémon Presents of 2024, Pikachu fans encountered a series of mysterious messages from the Unown, creatures that first appeared in the Johto region. During the last few hours, players have tried to decipher that message, but have not succeeded… until now.

soeyue and the mystery of the Unown

It is possible that until we have it, we will not really know what the Unown message means. However, through social networks, some interpretations have begun to emerge that make sense with what was presented in the Pokémon Presents broadcast.

For some players, Soeyue would be the name of the Kalos region before the events of . This theory has support with what happens with the Hisui region in , which is renamed Sinnoh in .

For other Internet users, soeyue is an anagram, so the phrase that the Unown indicate is “see you” (see you or until next time): a farewell at the end of Pokémon Presents. This theory indicates that, at the beginning of the transmission, the Unown themselves form the phrase: Pokémon Presents. Therefore, these phrases are more of a message to be deciphered or a clue from Pokémon Legends ZA.

As we mentioned at the beginning, we will have to get the game in our hands to fully understand what the word soeyue means… if it has a true meaning for the next one.

coming to Nintendo Switch in 2025.

Pokémon Legends AZ: trailer analysis, theories and everything we know about the new Pokémon game for Nintendo Switch

The most important announcement of today’s Pokémon Presents was the reveal of , a new spin-off that, Before reaching the tenth generation of the franchise, it returns us to the region we met in the sixth generation that we originally saw in 2013.

Curiously, they did not have a third installment as has happened with most generations of the series – until they had their extensive expansions – so it is a pleasant surprise returning to the Kalos regionwhich is inspired by France.

These are all the details we saw in the first trailer for this new Pokémon game.

Urban development plan

We start with a look at what looks like a paper envelope containing the urban development plans of a city. This is what it says:

Confidential City Urban Development Plan ********* The dream of a beautiful coexistence between humans and Pokémon.

The game seems to refer to our job will be to develop a city so that it becomes the perfect place where both Pokémon and humans can coexist.

Will we have simulation and urban management elements in addition to the goal of catching them all? Seems that if.

A look at Luminalia and her Pokémon

After seeing this envelope, we see architectural sketches showing a facade. Next we see Pikachu doing a tour of a familiar city: Luminalia.

Pikachu runs along the extensive avenues of the city while we see Pokémon from different generations.

The Pokémon that we reach identify more than 20 creatures from different generations in the trailer:

  • Pikachu
  • Litleo
  • Pryroar
  • Furfrou (3 forms)
  • Flabebé
  • Klefki
  • Fletchling
  • Dragonair
  • Hawlucha
  • Gyarados
  • Hippopots
  • Arbok
  • gogoat
  • Emolga
  • Aegislash
  • Krookodile
  • Sandile
  • Sylveon
  • Onyx
  • Pinsir
  • Heracross
  • Eevee
  • Bellsprout
  • Talonflame

The city is not completely materialized, but rather It seems to be all part of an urban development planas mentioned in the envelope at the beginning of the trailer.

Finally, we turn to the paper which suggests that none of this exists yet.

Logo and the return of Mega Evolutions

As happened in , the Pokémon logo does not respect the typical colors for the West (blue and yellow), but is presented in a Gradient pink tone with gray outlines. The name ZA is a clear reference to the name of the sixth generation games.

To close the trailer we see the Mega Evolutions logo which suggests that somehow this mechanic, introduced in the sixth generation, will be back in this new spin-off of the franchise.

Building Luminalia City

Luminalia City or Lumiose City is also known as The city of the lights and is inspired by the city of Paris, France. It is located in the center of the Kalos region and stands out from a distance for the gigantic Prisma Tower that is clearly inspired by the Eiffel Tower.

Is about the largest city in the world of Pokémon in its extensiononly surpassed in number of inhabitants by Ciudad Meseta (Paldea) and Ciudad Majolica (Teselia/Unova).

GameFreak has not made it completely clear what exactly this game is about but it seems that it will be completely focused on a single city instead of presenting its open natural maps as is tradition. After all, it is a sub-series that lends itself to all kinds of experimentation.

AZ, war and a history from 3000 years ago

Although there are no clues about the history of , the subseriessuggests adventures that take place in the past. In this case we would be talking about a Kalos where we may have to do the urban planning of Luminalia Cityas we have mentioned.

The name of the game reminds us of a curious character from . AZ is a character who has been wandering for 3000 years in search of his Pokémon Floette and it is the king of the Kalos region.

AZ’s beloved Floette died in a war, so AZ created a machine to bring her to life. That machine would gradually become a weapon capable of ending the lives of an enormous number of living beings. Floette abandoned AZ upon realizing all the Pokémon energy it took for her to come back to life, which she has to this character. wandering in search of it for more than 3000 years.

Will the story be linked to this character, the war and the reconstruction of Kalos? It is probable.

Release on Nintendo Switch 2?

We’ll have to wait until sometime in 2025 for this release. Although it is confirmed for ‘Nintendo Switch consoles’, speculation suggests that in said year we will be receiving the successor to the current Nintendo console.

It would not be a surprise if this title reaches both Nitnendo’s current generation consoles and the next generation.

“We will do everything possible to make this absurd situation change,” a professional Pokémon player is expelled for a meme and the community rallies around him

This 2024 is being an important year for competitive Pokémon, especially in Spain. The entry of Movistar KOI and Esportmaniacos to support this esport has caused the community to turn to the players, and the metrics for the qualifiers and important events to increase exponentially, making special mention of the Knekro channel.

One of these protagonists is Álex Soto ‘Len’, who had been one of the great sensations in these last tournaments. After leaving with an 8-1 in the last tournament, the organization decided to disqualify him for not passing the relevant controls, something that neither he nor the community fully understood. Ironically, and as a meme, he said that if his Pokémon were banned again he would bomb the TPCI offices, something that has not sat well with the organization, permanently banning him from any type of tournament.

To commit a hate crime, the threat must be possible, credible and serious.

Quickly, the tweet gained a lot of virality, and in a matter of hours, the post reached one million impressions. From colleagues like PokeAlex, to influencers like Papi Gavi, they showed their support for Len. One of the most active was ChusoMMontero, who was blunt with the company and would plan a boycott until this situation is resolved: “We will do everything possible as a community so that this absurd situation changes, and if not, it’s time to protest with the actions and with us that they no longer count.”

From another perspective, this time focused on the legal issue, Saritarookie, a former talk show host on Discutando Tranquilamente and current LPL commentator on ChinaGap, showed the definition of a crime due to threats in our country, and what requirements have to be met for it to be condemned as such. What seems clear is that Len does not fall within these parameters: “In Spain the crime of threats exists, obviously, but very specific requirements must be met: that the threat be possiblebe credible and either I would be”.

Pokemon Lets Go Catch Shiny Pokemon

How and where to catch Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Lets Go? This is probably the question asked by one or two players who would like to catch a shiny Pokemon in the new Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu/Eevee. In this guide we explain where you can find the Shiny Pokemon and what you should pay attention to.

Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Let’s Go

You can also catch shiny Pokemon again in the new Pokemon Lets Go. The Shiny Pokemon (or also known as Shiny Pokemon) are normal Pokemon, but they have a special feature and that is their special coloring. The shiny Pokemon are also very rare to find in the new Pokemon part, but in addition to the well-known chaining, there are also other ways to increase the chance of encountering such a shiny Pokemon, but more on that in a moment. Furthermore, you can now easily find the Pokemon thanks to the display of the Pokemon in the game world, because the shiny Pokemon shine when you walk past them. In addition to the color, you can also recognize this by the golden sparkles around the Pokemon.

Find and catch shiny Pokemon

As already mentioned, the chance of meeting a shiny Pokemon is also very rare in Pokemon Let’s Go. To be more precise, the probability of finding one of the special variants is initially 1:4096. With the item “Schillerpin” you can increase the probability of finding a Shiny Pokemon from 1:4096 to 1:1365. Although this is still rare, it is significantly better than before, especially since as a shiny hunter you can still use chaining, as mentioned. With a little luck and, above all, grinding, sooner or later you will come across the shiny Pokemon you are looking for and be able to catch it.

On the next page we’ll show you how to get the Shiny Pin in Pokemon Lets Go.

“They are playing their own game.” Professional Pokémon players have had enough of the constant problems in the video game’s official competitive circuit

It promised to be one of the most important tournaments in the history of competitive Pokémon, but more than a dozen players have been disqualified or sanctioned during its course. A new disaster for the collectible monster franchise that has arrived at the worst possible time. There was enormous expectation, especially in Spain, after Ibai Llanos decided to sign two of the most prominent players on the national scene for his esports club. This had generated interest in many new viewers who joined the stream only to discover that the players they were rooting for were absurdly disqualified.

Pokémon has a problem, but it doesn’t want to accept it

More than a dozen players, including both Alejandro “PokéAlex” Gómez and Eric “riopaser” Ríos, have been sanctioned for using illegally obtained Pokémon. This is common practice in tournaments: many players use external programs or abuse in-game bugs to create creatures with the best possible stats and moves. This is done to avoid ‘wasted’ hours using the Pokémon Scarlet and Purple breeding system. In the case of Alejandro and Eric Rios, they took advantage of this method since, in the words of PokeAlex: “we didn’t decide which team to play until yesterday (the day before the tournament) night.”

The use of creatures obtained illegitimately is a serious violation according to The Pokémon Company’s competitive rules. However, it is a rule imposed against the will of the players. There is no difference between a Pokémon obtained illegitimately and one obtained using the breeding (or farming) systems of the original games. In this sense, it is just a shortcut that most players use to save time, allowing them to dedicate more hours to analysis or combat training. The logic with which this position is defended is difficult to refute: no type of skill is needed, only time, for parenting.

When it comes to combat, there is no difference between an artificially generated Pokémon and one raised in official games.

The sanctions imposed by those responsible for the tournament have led to embarrassing moments. In addition to disqualifying several players, there have been players who have been sanctioned with the elimination of some of the Pokémon from their team. This caused us, in the official live broadcast of the championship, to see a quarterfinal showdown between a player who had four creatures on his team versus another who had six. “They have disqualified another Spaniard from the tournament and several players continue playing with 4 Pokémon instead of 6. They are destroying their own game,” said Eric Rios.

Guillermo Castilla, Spanish player and Pokémon SamaGame world runner-up in 2022, I didn’t agree with the situation either.. Although he did not commit any infraction, he said the following through his social networks: “Very sad about what happened to Alex, Eric, Albert and Trosko. Pokémon has just shot itself in the foot. And personally they have just ruin the tournament. I want to win this regional with the best playing and tomorrow (in reference to the decisive day of the tournament) they will not be there.”

Despite being sanctioned and having only four Pokémon available, Davide Cognetta reached the quarterfinals.

As if that were not enough, some players could have been unfairly punished. Davide Cognetta, who reached the quarterfinals, explained that two of his Pokémon had been banned – he could continue playing because he still had four legal ones – despite having been obtained through legitimate methods. Both the situation and the handling that those responsible for the tournament have made of it have reinforced that feeling of amateurism in official Pokémon tournaments. The organization, which did not communicate the punishments effectively to the public, is nowhere near up to par with a franchise as popular and with as much potential as Game Freak.

In terms of results, the reading is positive. Antonio “Rahxen” Sánchez has been proclaimed champion of the tournament, Guillermo “Kasty” Castilla reached the semis and Joan Perelló slipped into the Top 8, falling in the quarterfinals. In general, very good feelings for the Spanish players, who in recent years have become some of the most renowned in Europe. In two weeks, let’s hope that this time without controversy, the competition will continue with the Dortmund Regional.

That the community sees suspicious similarities to Pokémon in Palworld is just the beginning. When they play, they will see the Zelda ones

We have talked a lot about Palworld as “the Pokémon with guns” because Pocketpair clearly has not paid attention when it comes to study and replicate the design of Pokémon, nor have they been subtle when it comes to presenting their game to the world—with its little slavery twist involved, of course. In fact, if you explore the Japanese studio’s publications on social networks, you will find that many responses are from users showing suspicious similarities to the Game Freak creatures. But I think that in reality the game still has more similarities with Zeldaalthough they have not been evident during the promotional campaign.

For example, the intro sequence is very similar to Link’s awakening at the beginning of Breath of the Wild: from some ruins, you step outside and see a lush valley from the top of a cliff. The terrain is so similar, in fact, that if you look to the right you will see an NPC sitting next to a bonfire that serves to introduce the player to the plot and world of the game. From there, as you play you will find other uncomfortable similarities: the animation when climbing surfaces or the exasperations of your character when he makes efforts, the parasail deployment and even the sound effects that occur when you first discover a new mappable location.

It will be necessary to see if the community finds other types of common features, the kind that make one wonder if the problem comes from having inspired more than necessary in another game or if it is of another nature. I understand that more than one will raise an eyebrow, we’ll see how many and to what extent they react – after all, Sable or Towers of Aghasba are in similar situations and have not gone any further. Be that as it may, Palworld is scheduled to release in early access on January 19 through Steam and Game Pass. Beyond some somewhat disturbing developments, it must be said, the truth is that the dynamics of the game and its systems are completely different: it is one of some made in Unreal Engine, both for good and bad, and not a Zelda.

What exactly is Palworld like?

In case you weren’t familiar with the matter, in Palworld the “survival, crafting, open world and early access” elements that we see so much on Steam take a step further by adding monster collecting to the formula. I’ve been playing the new Pocketpair game for a few days and, although it is clear that the creatures make up an indivisible part of the experience, the playable cycle is more mindful of the resource collection natural resources and the unlocking of new technologies: things that we are much more accustomed to seeing in other games of the genre.

The monsters, curiously, do not propose anything especially novel or profound: you can summon them to help you with some tasks and they also fight at your side, although during the action they are semi-dependent agents to whom you cannot assign specific orders except “attack” or “wait.” ” and things like that. However, being an early access release, we will have to wait and see how the rest of the campaign develops in collaboration with the community.

We have already played Palword, the “pokémon with machine guns” that also has some Breath of the Wild and Fortnite. An explosive mix, but with little grace

I am a child of the 90s and like many of you, Pokémon was part of my childhood. Like me, many of you have grown up with pocket monsters and I in particular owe my love for video games to the Big N—and I haven’t played a Pokémon in about 15 years. Therefore, when you play Palworld you feel like something inside you explodes; catches fire and you end up letting go of your childhood, and that’s where the good thing about the Pocketpair game lies, because that sweetened pokemon and? series of the great japanese sagaseeks to amaze anyone who has a fond memory of Game Freak.

In fact, reduced to a minimum, Palworld is a meme, and does not hide its status as a joke. It was announced two years ago with the shocking idea of ”it’s a Pokémon with machine guns”, and it has carried that almost slogan until its premiere this week in . An early access that I’ve been playing for a week and that has shown me that although Palworld is shady, in terms of how it plays with your feelings, when it doesn’t parody Pokémon, falls to pieces.

It turns out that, in the end, Palworld needs to stretch the gum of a meme thanks to which it will be during the first weeks, but which will diminish when the novelty wears off. It is not something exclusive to him, it must be said, it happens to all games. However, Pocketpair’s open world live by and for jokes, and it takes more than laughs to keep the game going. Of course, to Caesar what is Caesar’s, there is potential in some of his ideas; again, those “Pokeideas”.

Palworld, a parody that starts from a very simple idea: the freedom of the player

Is Palworld anything more than “Pokémon with shotguns” and flagrant violations of international slavery and war agreements? Yeah, freedom. Apart from being a meme and an avoidance, almost like Neo in The Matrix, of any type of demand from Nintendo for a copy, Palworld actually makes eyes at the open world concept of Breath of the Wild.

Pocketpair’s game—by the way, it is the third one they have developed, they are not new to video games—seeks to replicate that “handmade” feeling of the Big N with a vast game world, divided by islands and with a structure of “if you see a mountain in the distance, you can reach it.” Almost like a isekaia work where the protagonist is transported from one world to another to which he is unknown, we will begin our adventure by editing our character with some classic customization options that, if I don’t argue, it’s because they don’t come out of the rule.

The important thing here is that feeling of a massive, yet empty world. It is not a procedural mapand that play tricks in several aspects so we all have the same extension and locations regardless of our game, but so massive in scale that it bloats from the beginning and that, even without being very inspired, with a lot of plain without buildings or striking visual elements, it knows how to get good It feels like being in a dreamlike natural setting, and here you come in as the protagonist.

Less Pokémon and more a regular one

If in its layout of the world it is Zelda, in its mechanical It is one, one more it must be said. Pocketpair knows the characteristics of the genre and does not bring anything new to the mix: construction system, collection, need to eat and sleep, day-night cycle and hot-cold; and a system of improvements, levels and statistics linked to the level of our camp or that of our character. And, of course, that of ours pals.

The Pals, the Pokémon on this side of the judicial agreements, are the other leg of the table that is Palworld and, without a doubt, the most striking. There are, in total, 111 Pals to discover and capture, and they will be recorded in your Palpedia, the Pokedex of a lifetime. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have defended to the death the most basic concept of the license and although they have had competitors of one type or another, causing Palworld to lose that sense of uniqueness, Any game let us capture animalshave powers and, ultimately, are the allies of humans, has the attention of the whole community of players.

There are, in total, 111 Pals to discover and capture, and they will be noted in your Palpedia

However, it is the first time in a long time that I have felt like playing something related to Pokémon because Palworld, the closer it gets to the Japanese license, the better it moves. Capturing Pals, for example, is done with the classic system of lowering the life of the animal in question and throwing a ball at its head, hoping that it is too tired to resist. Here, the difference that Palworld puts on the table, following the parody trail, is that if in one we weakened the Pokémon with blows from other Pokémon; here we do it based on shotguns, rifles, grenade launcher or the bare fists.

As in Pokémon, there is a percentage of success and it will depend on the life of the Pal or the sphere that we launch

It’s fun, so much fun to go hunting for Pals. I admit, it’s very violent and makes you rethink things, but Palworld plays his cards well when it comes to imitating Game Freak and laughing, almost as a Scary Movie, of everything that his saga represents. However, everything is diluted when Palworld is due to the survival genre instead of adventure, because the concessions you make are less fun.

Capturing Pals is, in short, a way to automate the functions of your camp because the combatIn fact, it is limited to two options: attackeither not to attack. And even so, don’t expect that concept of automated factories with animal assembly lines that the game’s previews seemed to hint at. It’s all simpler than that, although simplicity is not bad and in a game like this with so much concept, it is even necessary.

The more levels we have, the more improvements we can unlock from the technology tree. This translates into a classic objective-reward system whereby the more we play, the better our camp structures will be. We have since farms to be able to extract wool from the Pals or eat the eggs they lay; areas of tree felling either extraction of resources limited to the classic grid system of the stage; or forges, but all this with the help of the Pals. For example, in the latter we can kind of Flareon fanning the flames and heating the metal that we can use to make bullets, while praying for the end of his life to come.

When the initial surprise wears off and the meme wears off, it all feels like archetypal survival.

And it is that, When it happens the surprise initial and the meme are sold out, everything feels as a archetypal. Many serve a single task and it is fun to see how, when you build something, they go without asking permission to carry out their tasks. But since you always depend on the AI to speed up the tasks, you will end up taking the lead by chopping the nearby trees to obtain material. Furthermore, the construction is not satisfactory and you will end up building a house with four walls and a roof to avoid the hassle of construction mode.

However, this genre can find a niche and benefit, without a doubt, from its online mode of up to 32 playersalthough only if we turn a blind eye to their issues inherited from their concept of a static world. I have not been able to get the most out of this enormous mode, since I have barely been able to bring together two players in the same world, but since the scenario is not procedural and they all appear in the same area, the competitive component is diluted Well, reaching the high part of the map takes days. Furthermore, we cannot take our Pals or characters from one world to another, and the level does not autoscale. Too many hassles for a mode that I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt until it is released.

Take them all, or shoot them down in a cheeky game

I hoped that, far from the , if the studio had avoided the bad eyes of the Japanese, they would still expand and make the idea of ”get them all” of Pokémon their own with a ungainly open world, simple and effective. I have already told you that no, it is due to his condition, but I feel obliged to talk about what does work.

The combat, for example, is so basic and gives so little thought to satisfying the player that it’s fun. As I mentioned, there is no possibility to give directions to your Pals. They are there to make a big deal and help you lower the life of the bug on duty, but, even so, Pocketpair does not bow its head and knows a lot about copying homework.

Each Pal has a basic skill which will be broken down into other secondary schools that follow the classic rule of fireballs, water gun, earthquake… Everything so that, visually, it reminds us of the Japanese saga. We cannot choose them, I have already said that it is basic, but it is the synergy Pal with the player what’s fun here.

They all have a fourth skillone that we can only unlock based on the level we have and that allows us use Pals as shields, flamethrower, mounts to travel the great plains, or even the possibility of give them firearms. It’s all so absurd that I wish it were explored more thoroughly because concepts like the , are barely Pal with brilli-brilli with nothing to do other than serve as decoration in the factory.

Of course, it’s not just about fighting the Pals and although here, again, Palworld gets tripped up, it leaves some little crumbs something that will evolve, I suppose, over the months. Each area of the map, where as in the Japanese saga there are Pals of different rarity, is besieged by the Syndicate. I don’t really know what implications this group has. They are AI-controlled humans who serve as putty to shoot at, but they capture pals and eat them. In reality they are like us, but let’s consider them the villains of a poorly told story.

Apart from serving as mere entertainment and a target to beat because many of them will have captured a unique Pal who, once released, will join our ranks, we have the Syndicate towers. Again, taking a look at Pokémon, these serve as gymsalthough there is hardly a confrontation straight against a boss which, all things considered, is the most anticlimactic that one might expect. They are punch sponges and their small stage and the impossibility of using potions, or using power-ups, reduces the strategy to a tug of war to see who does the most damage. The idea is good, the execution is not. At the end of the day they are obstacles, optionalwhich do not give much of themselves and cannot be enjoyed cooperatively (the latter based on the version played).

The caves They are more fun. There is a little bit of everything: strange Pals that, as in Pokémon, are native to the dark areas and of greater rarity. But there are also chests, eggs that you can collect and hatch in an incubator, or enemy AI that you can shoot to win. It is an optional scenario too, not random and that, in the played version, does not regenerate its itemsso once you complete it there is no interest in accessing it again.

Is Palworld a Pokémon-killer? No, it’s a meme that will soon start working

There are good ideas in Palworld, but at half speed. When it tries to be a successor to Game Freak, like a sugar-coated Pokémon, that’s when I want to play the most. Even visually, although it has that air of from Unreal Engine 5 —an engine that, by the way, supports the game—, there are beautiful moments and the design of the Pals is anything but ugly. In addition, performance with an RTX 3060 Ti and an i5 12400 is not bad, with few edges to polish which will help its expansion on PC.

When it tries to be a successor to Game Freak, like a sweetened Pokémon, that’s when I most want to play

It is a game that you have the feeling exists to give something to talk about. I also don’t want to be too bad with its mechanics, because although I have plenty of them—or at least I have plenty of everything that is like another survival game— still has a lot path ahead.

Pokemon Sword & Shield: Change language: Here’s how

How to change language in Pokemon Sword & Shield? Can I switch the game from German to English or another language? Anyone who has bought one of the two new Pokemon games for the Nintendo Switch will definitely want to play the game in German. Even though there is no real voice output or synchronization in Pokemon games, the subtitles are of course displayed in German. If you prefer to play games in English or other languages, then the question arises, how and where can you find and change the language settings in Pokemon Sword & Shield?

Pokemon Sword & Shield: Change language?

If you want to play a game in English on the Nintendo Switch, it is usually enough to select the desired language in the system settings under the “Console” menu item and start the game again. Many games use the set system language and change the game language when you change the system language. However, this does not apply to all games on the Nintendo Switch, including Pokemon Sword & Shield.

According to our research, you can only select the game language in Pokemon Sword & Shield once when starting the game. A subsequent change of the language is probably not possible. So if you want to play the game in English or another language, you have to create a new user and then create a second save game. Alternatively, you can of course delete your old Pokemon Sword & Shield save game and start a new game with the same user.

Is there a way to change the language in Pokemon Sword & Shield without having to start a new game? If so, please leave us a short note in the comments section and we will add the information here.

Delete Pokemon Unite account and start over

How can you in Pokemon Unite delete the account? Where can you reset the account and again with a new one Restart account? This might be the question asked by one or other player who has downloaded the new MOBA in the Pokemon universe for the Nintendo Switch. In Pokemon Unite you can compete with different Pokemon against other players in the classic MOBA game mode and put your skills to the test. As the game progresses, you gradually unlock more playable Pokemon, which you can improve and make stronger using, among other things, the so-called hero items. In this article we will address the question of whether and how you can delete your Pokemon Unite account and how you can start over in the game.

Delete Pokemon Unite account

In short, according to our research, you cannot delete the account in Pokemon Unite directly, at least currently. Neither in the game nor in the settings of the linked Nintendo account were we able to find an option with which you can permanently delete the account. By the way, deleting the save data doesn’t help because the game status is saved on the Pokemon Unite servers. It will probably only be a matter of time before you can delete the account directly from the game.

Create a second (new) Pokemon Unite account

If you want to delete your Pokemon Unite account and start over with a new account, you can simply create a second user on the Nintendo Switch and start the game from there. With the second user, a new Pokemon Unite account will also be created, which must be linked to a Nintendo account. The important thing here is that it must be a new Nintendo account that has not yet been linked in Pokemon Unite. By the way, the second account, like the first account, does not need Nintendo Online in order to be able to download Pokemon Unite and play it online.

Is there now a way to delete your Pokemon Unite account? If anything has changed on the topic in the meantime, we would be happy to receive a brief note in the comments.

Pokémon Go – Raid Eggs: Which bosses hatch from pink, yellow and black eggs and their level of difficulty

Eggs have always played an important role in the Pokémon universe, so it’s hardly surprising that they also play a special role in Pokémon Go. In addition to the eggs for hatching, there have also been raid eggs for some time. You will discover them together with a countdown on the map above the arena before each boss fight.

Since you usually do not know which boss is hatching from the egg, it is difficult to prepare for the upcoming raid. But if you are familiar with the colored eggs, you can at least draw a few conclusions and roughly narrow down the level of difficulty and the possible boss.

If you want to know more about the general flow of these raids instead, take a look at our Pokémon Go Raids: Everything about the Raid Pass, Levels and Rewards page.

Pokémon Go – yellow, pink and dark egg and their level of difficulty (normal, rare, legendary)

As already noted, you cannot directly see which boss you are up against in the “Nearby” view. However, you can roughly estimate the difficulty of the upcoming raid fight with a few pieces of information. The grinning faces help you the most – the more grinning faces that are displayed under the arena, the more difficult the boss is and the higher his WP value.

As an advanced trainer, you can do lighter raid battles on your own. It is of course easier with a smaller group, which can be necessary even with the medium difficulty levels. For the most difficult opponents you don’t even need to move in without a larger fighting force, they are simply too strong.

Another indicator of the level of difficulty are the raid eggs, which are displayed on the map and in the “Nearby” tab along with the two-hour countdown before a raid. The eggs come in the three colors pink (normal), yellow (rare) and black (legendary) and provide a first indication of the difficulty of the upcoming fight.

The three egg colors are divided into five levels of difficulty, which are shown in the “Nearby” view. The “normal” pink eggs hatch level 1 or 2 bosses. “Rare” yellow eggs are equipped with level 3 or 4 bosses. Black eggs – also known as dark raid eggs – contain a legendary level 5 boss. This is guaranteed not to be an easy matter, which means that the question of whether one should dare such a raid solo is almost superfluous.

You can find out more about the bosses and legendary Pokemon on the respective detail pages of the raid bosses (see links below)

Pokémon made from pink eggs

The weakest bosses hatch from the pink raid eggs in Pokémon Go. They correspond to either difficulty level 1 or 2. If you were looking forward to an easy raid, that’s probably exactly your thing. Conversely, this means that you don’t need that many people to bring these raid bosses to their knees. If your trainer is higher than level 30, he has no bad chances against these Pokémon even on his own. Here is an overview of the pocket monsters that come out of the pink things, sorted by level:

step 1

  • Magikarp (1,165 WP)
  • Safcon (1,534 WP)
  • Wailmer (3,369 WP)
  • Schillok (4,503 WP)
  • Glutexo (5.085 WP)
  • Bisaknosp (5,238 WP)

If you need help with the bosses, click here for the boss guides of the first level: Pokémon Go New raid bosses level 1 (Solo Raid): Magikarp, Safcon, Wailmer, Schillok, Glutexo, Bisaknosp.

Level 2

  • Zobiris (8,266 WP)
  • Flunkifer (9,403 WP)
  • Knogga (9,891 WP)
  • Tentoxa (12,190 WP)
  • Sandamer (12,312 WP)
  • Magneton (14,172 WP)
  • Austos (15,678 WP)

If you need tips on the bosses, click here for the second level boss guides: Pokémon Go New raid bosses level 2 (Solo Raid): Zobiris, Flunkifer Knogga, Tentoxa, Sandamer, Magneton, Austos.

Pokémon made from yellow eggs

Here it becomes much more difficult, but also more rewarding in the end. Significantly more challenging Pokémon emerge from the yellow raid eggs than from the pink ones. You are at least on difficulty level 3, but can also have reached level 4. Trainers with a lot of experience and the necessary Pokémon can only take down the weakest bosses single-handedly in this league. Usually, however, these fights all require significantly more manpower when it comes to the coaches. Unless you’re keen on solo success, you’d better get support and try it together. Here is an overview of which monsters hatch from the yellow eggs:

level 3

  • Porygon (11,419 WP)
  • Vulnona (14,914 WP)
  • Sichlor (17,358 WP)
  • Machomei (18,144 WP)
  • Amoroso (18,915 WP)
  • Gengar (19,768 WP)
  • Simsala (22,646 WP)

Level 4

  • Lapras (21,768 WP)
  • Nidoqueen (23,216 WP)
  • Sarzenia (23,780 WP)
  • Quappo (24,247 WP)
  • Nidoking (24,873 WP)
  • Relaxo (25,419 WP)
  • Absol (26,262 CP)
  • Geowaz (30,572 WP)
  • Despotar (34,707 WP)

Back to Pokémon Go: Raid Explained – Tips and Tricks for the New Game Mode

Back to Pokémon Go Tips and Tricks – The Great Guide

Pokémon made from black / dark eggs

From the dark raid eggs hatch in Pokémon Go the strongest bosses, namely the legendary monsters. They all correspond to difficulty level 5 and cannot possibly be defeated on your own. In addition, you can’t just throw a group of any Pokémon together and assume that it will knock down a legendary raid boss. The fewer trainers involved in the fight, the more important it is that the right counter-Pokémon and attacks are used. Here is an overview of which pocket monsters come out of the black eggs:

Level 5

  • Arktos (37,603 WP)

Report Pokemon Unite player: Here’s how

How can you in Pokemon Unite a Report player? Where can you get one? Report players, if he suddenly stops playing in a round and goes AFK or deliberately runs into the opponents and “feeds”. Unlike in the ranked games, in Pokemon Unite it happens quite often in the “normal games” and you come across a player who behaves anything but well. Either the player is noticed because of intentional feeding or the player simply stops playing and stands motionless in the spawn area. Anyone who has already played one or two rounds in Pokemon Unite may have experienced this before. The question often arises in this situation: How can you report a player in Pokemon Unite and send a report so that they receive a penalty in the form of a ban or something similar for multiple violations?

Pokemon Unite: This is how you can report a player

If you play in Pokemon Unite want to report a playerthen you can do this after the round in the game overview. To do this, simply mark the respective player in the scoreboard and select “Report” in the context menu. You can then select two options under “Choose the reason for this report”.

  • Idling in Battle (Malicious)
  • Abusive Language/Violent Content/___ual Content

Once you have selected the player and the reason, the report is sent and checked by the team. According to our research, it is not possible to see whether and when the player will be suspended or even banned. In any case, we have never received a report that players who reported AFK were banned (but that doesn’t mean that nothing happened)

By the way, no “cheaters” or “hackers” in Pokemon Unite have been reported yet. If that changes in the future, you can certainly report the cheaters using the same form.

Play Pokemon Unite with mouse and keyboard?

You can Play Pokemon Unite with mouse and keyboard? How can you have one? Connect the mouse and keyboard to the Nintendo Switch and then play Pokemon Unite on top of that? The question might be something like this from one or other player who recently downloaded the new Pokemon MOBA for the Nintendo Switch. The question arises especially if you have only ever played MOBA on the PC with a mouse and keyboard and don’t really get to grips with the controller controls in the game. But can you actually play Pokemn Unite with a mouse and keyboard?

Pokemon Unite: Mouse and keyboard support?

Similar to other Switch games, the new Pokemon Unite does not support mouse and keyboard controls. This also applies to the Nintendo Switch itself, to which you can connect and set up a mouse and keyboard directly via USB or Bluetooth. But there are still ways you can play Pokemon Unite with a mouse and keyboard, using a special adapter. Similar to what some people may know from other consoles such as the PS4 or Xbox One, you can also connect a mouse and keyboard to the Nintendo Switch using an adapter and use it to play some games. In the linked YouTube video you can see how you can play the new Pokemon Unite with a mouse and keyboard using such an adapter. Apart from a few minor restrictions and a small input delay, there are reportedly no major restrictions.

By the way, with the release of Pokemon Unite for smartphones (especially Android), something will certainly change on this topic. If Pokemon Unite is released for Android, then you can most likely install it and get it running in an Android emulator. In this case, you could also play Pokemon Unite on the PC with a mouse and keyboard.

App turns your Android smartwatch into a Pokémon GO Plus

An app has appeared in the Google Play Store that turns your smartwatch into a Pokémon GO Plus. The app makes your smartwatch light up when a Pokémon is nearby. You still need to use your phone to catch the Pokémon.

While we wait for the Pokémon GO Plus bracelet, which should be released at the end of August, you can now get started with an app for Android that will turn your smartwatch into a kind of Pokémon GO Plus. When a Pokémon is nearby, you will receive a notification on your smart watch. There is also an option to open a map where you can see which Pokémon are in the area and how long it will take before they despawn.

The app uses unofficial Pokémon GO code. You may be banned from using it and use is at your own risk. The app creator recommends logging into the app with a second account and using your regular account for Pokémon GO. The app is only available on Android and you can download it here. An iOS version should be released very soon.

Play Pokemon Unite with a controller on your cell phone?

How can you Play Pokemon Unite on mobile with a controller? Does Pokemon Unite on Android or iOS even support controllers and if so, how do you get them to work in the game app? These questions may concern one or two Pokemon MOBA players who simply can’t get to grips with the touchscreen controls on their cell phones and would like to play with the controller similar to the Nintendo Switch. But can you actually play Pokemon Unite on your cell phone with a controller and, for example, connect an Xbox or PS5 controller to your smartphone and then play it?

Play Pokemon Unite on your cell phone with a controller?

The short answer to the above question is, no, you can’t use Pokemon Unite when it’s released Do not play with a controller on your Android smartphone or iPhone. The mobile version of the Pokemon MOBA Unlike the Nintendo Switch version, it does not yet support controllers and you can currently only play using touchscreen controls. Since Pokemon Unite was only released for smartphones a few days ago, it will probably only be a matter of time before the game gets controller support, since you can also play cross-play against players on the Nintendo Switch.

Play on your cell phone with a controller via a detour

If you can’t handle the touchscreen controls in Pokemon Unite on your cell phone at all, you can do so as an alternative via “detours”with so-called KeyMapper apps play the game with the controller. With the KeyMapper apps such as the Mantis Gamepad Pro or Octopus, you can assign a controller button to touchscreen buttons (i.e. specific areas on the touchscreen). When you then press the controller button, the app virtually “tap” the selected area, allowing you to play mobile phone games with controllers that do not have controller support themselves.

Has anything changed in the meantime and can you now play Pokemon Unite with the controller on your smartphone? If so, we would be happy to receive a brief note in the comments section and we will add the information here.
