PS Plus March 2024: prediction and reveal date of free games

The free PS Plus games for March 2024 have not yet been revealed. We’ll predict what might happen to Essential next month and show you when the next lineup is revealed.

Every month, Sony offers a selection of free games through its PlayStation Plus subscription tiers. Of the three subscription tiers, Essential is the most economical and offers a limited-time offer of three games.

Once you claim a game offered through Essential, you will have it in your library forever and can play it whenever you want, provided you are a PS Plus subscriber. Additionally, new titles are regularly introduced to the growing collection of Extra and Premium games.

As a PS Plus subscriber, you also benefit from special discounts in the store. Make the most of it by going to Eneba and checking out the site for great deals on PSN gift cards!

PS Plus March 2024: essential free games prediction

As usual, PS Plus subscribers will get three new games to download and play next month. The full line-up is not yet known, but that doesn’t stop us from speculating! Here’s what we hope to get in PS Plus Essential in March:

Horizon: Zero Dawn

“Horizon Zero Dawn” is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Guerrilla Games set in a post-apocalyptic world where robot dinosaurs and creatures roam the landscape. Players take on the role of Aloy, a young hunter with a mysterious past, who embarks on a quest to uncover her history and the fate of the ancient world. The game combines lush, expansive environments with rich storytelling and complex characters.

Although the game is similar to other open-world games like Far Cry or Ghost of Tsushima, the dinosaur robot combat is quite unique and surprisingly deep. Players use a combination of stealth, strategy, and combat to defeat robotic enemies, in addition to hostile human enemies, using a variety of weapons and tools made from scavenged parts. The game is praised for its detailed world-building, visually stunning graphics, and gripping storyline, which made it Sony’s best-selling game of all time.

Hades

Hades is a rogue-like action game developed by Supergiant Games, known for its fast-paced action, deep storytelling, and colorful art style. In the game, players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape the Underworld to reach Mount Olympus.

During his journey through the Underworld, Zagreus must defeat different enemies and bosses with a variety of weapons and magical powers granted by the gods of Olympus. Each run through the Underworld dungeons is unique, with different room layouts, enemies, and power-ups.

“Hades” was a huge success and was highly praised for its addictive, tight gameplay and innovative integration of story and roguelike elements. Hades 2 is set to release in Early Access this year, so getting the first game as a sneak peek would be a great move.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, based on the iconic horror film series of the same name, is a multiplayer horror game that pits players against each other in a terrifying survival scenario. In this asymmetrical multiplayer game, one player assumes the role of the notorious killer Leatherface, wielding a chainsaw and using various tools to hunt other players, who are trying to survive and escape.

The game aims to capture the intense and gruesome atmosphere of the original films and takes place in environments reminiscent of the film’s eerie Texas locations. Although the game is reminiscent of similar titles like Dead by Daylight, unique gameplay mechanics and a truly eerie and amazing atmosphere make this one stand out from the rest. The game launched on Game Pass, but is not yet available on PS Plus. Maybe it’s time!
