Sims 4: Disable jealousy via mod

How do you disable jealousy in The Sims 4? Is there an option to turn off jealousy as a trait? The Sims 4 has had an improved Jealousy system for a while. Unlike in the first few years after the release, a Sim not only becomes jealous when his partner flirts with another Sim in front of his eyes, but also when flirting or even flirting in the background, the Sim can find out about the whole thing and become jealous . Some players may ask themselves, can you switch off jealousy and have multiple relationships in the game without the other Sim becoming jealous?

Disable jealousy with mod

The short answer to the question is, no, you cannot deactivate jealousy using the settings available in the game. But as is always the case in The Sims 4, there is a mod or rather several mods that can be used to disable jealousy. A popular mod with which you can turn off the jealousy system is the Wicked Whims Mod. Not only can you turn off jealousy among the Sims using the mod, but there are also some other 18+ features related to relationships and the Sims’ love lives. The complete feature list and a download for the mod can be found on the official website at wickedwhimsmod.com. If you have the Wicked Whims mod installed, you can turn off jealousy at the push of a button via the settings.

  1. Start Sims 4 and load the save.
  2. Click on the Sim and open the “Settings” via “Wicked”.
  3. Open the “Relationship Utilities” under “Relationship Settings” and uncheck “Relationship Jealousy Switch”.

No jealousy about MCCC modules

If the Wicked Whims Mod is a bit too much of a good thing for you, you can alternatively deactivate jealousy via the MC Command Center and the MCC module called “MC WooHoo Module”. By the way, the “WooHoo Module” has other features and additional setting options, which can be seen in the following mod description.

Is there now a setting in The Sims 4 that allows you to turn off jealousy without having to install an additional modification? If something has changed here in the meantime, we would be happy to receive a brief note in the comments.
