Kazutaka Kodaka, creator of the Danganronpa series and most recently Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE, has announced with a tweetto announce a “crazy” new title “in the not too distant future.”
“The game I’m working so hard on right now – the scenario is so crazy and so exciting that I end up working harder than anything else,” Kodaka said.
He continues: “Even when things get difficult or tedious, I end up either working or writing scenarios instead of playing or resting. This is perhaps the first time I’ve become so obsessed with a work. I wonder if I’ll burn myself out. In any case, the announcement and release are not too far away, so I want everyone to look forward to it. And well, I’m tired, so I hope you can cheer me on.”
When Too Kyo Games announced its founding in September 2018, the company announced four projects in production with concept art. Of these four projects, only one has yet to be officially announced: “A game with a common scenario by Kazutaka Kodaka x Kotaro Uchikoshi: Limit x Despair.” Kodaka also alludes to the title in his tweet with corresponding hashtags.

Keyword “Kotaro Uchikoshi”: He also alluded to the project in his recent New Year’s message. “Our next project is particularly fitting for the name ‘too kyo’, as it is a game that can only be described as crazy, and I hope to announce it next year. “It’s a game that we’re all passionate about and we’re all vomiting blood (sic) making it, so please support us when the time comes,” said Kodaka.
