How to watch SkyShowtime for free and cancel before you’re charged
Despite the controversy over disappearing content, SkyShowtime is a good complementary subscription if you get it at the right price. After the starting price of 2.99 euros, we have two plans: the monthly one or the annual one with a discount.
The monthly one costs 5.99 euros per month and the annual one for 46.99 euros per year. This is equivalent to paying eight months and a year costs 3.92 euros per month, which is not bad at all. Here, at the moment, we do not find different plans with advertising, different content or different resolutions.
But hey, as we say, There is a seven-day trial so you can assess if the content is worth it or if the viewing quality is what you expect, and this promotion only applies if we choose the manual subscription.
To take advantage of this trial, you have to go to the SkyShowtime website (not in the app) and create an account with email and password. In addition, you must fill out some information such as your payment method and, when everything is ready, the first week is free.
Once this is done, you can start browsing, but We recommend that the first step after creating the account is… cancel the subscription. In this way, the platform will not pass you the 5.99 euros for the first month, since the renewal is automatic if you do not cancel.
To do so, all you have to do is go to ‘My Account’ and select ‘Cancel Subscription’ under the ‘Plans and Payments’ tab. What’s happening? Well you can’t do it from your mobile. To cancel your SkyShowtime subscription, you have to go to the website and the process is quite annoying.
