EA FC 24 free kick overrun, fake and call for second player

How can you run over the ball during a free kick in the new EA FC 24 and fake it? Which button can you use to request a second player and thus shoot or lay the ball up indirectly? One or two players of the new EA Sports FC 24 who haven’t played FIFA for a while and are currently getting used to the new free kick controls may be dealing with these questions in the last few days. In this short guide, we’ll show you how to fake free kicks and call additional shooters.

Free kick run over the ball

Before you can fake a free kick and run over the ball, you first have to call a second player or shooter. To do this, in the standard situation you press the L2 button (PlayStation) or the LT button (Xbox). If the second player is standing behind the ball, you can now let him run over the ball by pressing the L2 button and circle button and then canceling the shot using the X button.

  • PS5 and PS4: L2 button + Circle button and then X button
  • Xbox Series and One: LT button + B button and then A button

You can also call a third shooter by pressing the R2 button (PlayStation) or the RT button (Xbox) when taking a free kick. If you want both players to run over the ball during a free kick, you have to press the back right shoulder button instead of the back left shoulder button for the third shooter.

FIFA 15 Bicycle Kick Tutorial for PS4/Xbox One, PS3/Xbox 360

How can you do an overhead kick in FIFA 15 on the PS4 or Xbox One and from which positions is it even possible? Some players of the new FIFA 15 have certainly asked themselves this question and we have created a short overhead kick tutorial on this page and linked a useful video on this topic below. The new FIFA 15 is finally on the market and, like every year, many thousands of fans rush to the stores to get the game if they haven’t already gotten it digitally somewhere. Every year, not only does the search for the best talent and the opportunity to get FUT Coins start again, but individual functions are also a recurring topic. In addition to the free kick and the corner tutorial, the main question is how to do an overhead kick or a side kick in FIFA 15. Since we were recently looking ourselves, we have created a guide for you here. In addition to some tips on overhead kicks from different positions in FIFA 15, you will also find a video guide from a YouTuber below.

How to do a bicycle kick in FIFA 15 – this is how it works

Bicycle kick tutorial for FIFA 15

In order to be able to do an overhead kick at all, there are of course a few requirements. One of these is, among other things, that the ball reaches the player in front of the goal at the right height and at the right time, without the player being pushed away by a nearby opponent. But it is precisely the height and the correct pass that are crucial here so that the player can actually make a side kick or an overhead kick in FIFA 15. Normally you just have to hold the L2 button on the PS4 and then press the circle button at the right moment and the player will take the shot. As written above, the ball must of course be at the right height.

  • How to do a FIFA 15 bicycle kick on the PS4/PS3: Ball at the right height, then hold L2 and press the circle button
  • Do a FIFA 15 bicycle kick on the Xbox One/360: Shoot the ball at the right height to the player, hold the LT button and press the B button

With a bit of luck, the player then takes a swing and shoots the ball at the goal. The most difficult thing, however, is preparing a FIFA 15 overhead kick and that’s why we’ve linked you to a few tips and a very useful video below.

Tips for preparing bicycle kicks

If the ball comes at the right height, then it is not particularly difficult to get it into the goal with a side kick. The preparation is much more difficult and we have some tips here, some of which you can also see in moving images in the YouTube video linked below.

  • Tip 1: A few meters in front of the penalty area, simply pull into the middle and cross with the square button and hope that the player stands free and stays so that he can then use the overhead kick to hold L2 and use the circle button.
  • Tip 2: Bicycle kicks can of course also be made with a free kick and, depending on the position, this can even be advantageous compared to a direct shot. To do this, you should simply tap the cross button very lightly when taking a free kick so that only one bar is fully charged. If, with a bit of luck, the ball comes at the right height and the opponent is still a little away, quickly hold the L2 button and use the circle button to do an overhead kick.
  • Tip 3: We got the last tip for our FIFA 15 bicycle kick tutorial from the video guide linked below. Depending on how good your opponent is, you can simply stand in front of the penalty area and hold the ball up yourself and then lunge for a side kick. To do this, find a little space and press the L1 button and then flick the ball up with LS and then use the well-known overhead kick button combination with L2 and the circle button to finish.

FIFA 23 free kick change view: adjust camera?

How to change the free kick view in FIFA 23? Why are the free kicks in the training arena always taken from a bird’s eye view and how to change the free kick camera? This may be the question asked in recent days by one or other FIFA player who likes to practice a standard situation such as a free kick in the training arena. In the training arena you usually compete 1-on-1 against the goalkeeper and can, for example, familiarize yourself with the controls without being directly disturbed by opponents. In addition to normal shots on goal, you can also practice free kicks, among other things. All you have to do is stand at the desired free kick position and press the control pad to the left (alternatively select “Free Kick” in the menu). Until a few days ago the camera always switched to the usual free kick camera, but recently the free kick camera is shown from a bird’s eye view. But why is this the case and how can you change the view again?

Training arena free kick camera change?

Yes, you can change the view in the training arena, including during a free kick, but you cannot currently use the “classic free kick view”. For whatever reason, the normal free kick view was removed from the Training Arena in a recent update. Since some players have the problem and there are already some threads on Reddit and in the official EA help forum about the “free kick camera problem in the training arena”, it will hopefully only be a matter of time before an update is released and you can old free kick camera can be used again in the training arena.

If you still want to practice free kicks in the training arena, you can open the pause menu in game mode and then switch the camera from “Gameplay” to “Chaser”. As mentioned above, this is not the “real free kick camera”.

Tip: This is how you can do an overhead kick from a standing position in FIFA 23.
