[HOT] : PS Plus: here is the list of games offered for the month of June 2023

Who says beginning of the month, says renewal of the catalog of games offered for the various subscription services of the large manufacturers. Sony has just announced its list, on the program: Basketball, dinosaurs and Samurai.

The thermometer suddenly rose just before the formalization of summer and Sony nevertheless wants you to stay at home with a new burst of games available for subscribers to PlayStation Plus Essential, Premium and Extra from June 6 and until to July 3.

PlayStation Plus games available in June 2023

  • NBA 2K23 (PS4 and PS5)
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2 (PS4 and PS5)
  • Trek to Yomi (PS4 and PS5)

Regarding games specific to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, the list from the beginning of May is still valid.

The PS+ games of the month of June in detail

We no longer need to present the famous NBA 2K basketball simulation license which in its 2023 edition pushes the basket a little further. In particular, we have the right to a brand new career mode in which we can create our player completely and in a very advanced way. The latter is always scripted and which features big stars of the orange ball as current as those of the past.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is neither an action game nor an exploration game, but a management game in which you will have to manage your own dino park. Whether in a scenario mode using elements from the last thread (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) or in a “sandbox” mode allowing you to experiment with all the facilities and raise all kinds of creatures.

In Trek to Yomi, You play as an Edo-era samurai seeking revenge after his village was destroyed. The game relies heavily on its Kurosawa-like atmosphere with a very stylized black and white visual and a very neat staging. The Gameplay mixes fights, exploration and puzzles mainly on a horizontal plane.

PlayStation Plus: The “free” PS5 and PS4 games of June 2023

No more extreme sports! GRID Legends and Descenders are just ancient history: the PlayStation Plus Essential has just been announced…

NBA 2K23 (PS4/PS5)

So we start by tying our shoes, since the PlayStation Plus offers us to leave in the first place with NBA 2K23 ! Still as excellent, this new episode offers the basketball simulation to witness the great return of Michael Jordan, who quite simply has the right to his own game mode: the Jordan Challenge. Of course, an ultra-complete Online mode is still in the game, as is a successful Career mode which offers players the opportunity to explore an entire city between two basketball games, just that.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 (PS4/PS5)

After NBA 2K23, we completely change the video game genre with Jurassic World Evolution 2. Ultra complete, this management game, as its name suggests, takes place in the universe of Jurassic World and offers players the opportunity to create their own amusement park. Of course, it is necessary to build everything in the rules and to regularly check the state of your enclosures if you do not want to end up with a massacre worthy of Jurassic Park 3 in your arms.

Trek to Yomi (PS4/PS5)

We continue and end the June offers of the PlayStation Plus Essential with the arrival of Trek to Yomi. This unique experience by Flying Wild Hog (Shadow Warrior) and Devolver Digital is a real tribute to Japanese films from the second half of the 20th century. There are then many nods to the feature films of Akira Kurosawa (Rashōmon), but also and above all many katana fights. Moreover, it is these bloody and beautifully choreographed fights that will punctuate your adventure from start to finish.

PS Plus: June 2023 games revealed, including two highly popular

The June 2023 PS Plus Essential free games have been made official. Still very heavy for this month?

The June 2023 PlayStation Plus Essential “free” games have been made official. A better selection than last month? Here is the program.

The PS Plus Extra and Premium will soon blow out their first candle. June 2022, Sony launched two new formulas that directly compete with Xbox Game Pass. But no question of changing good old habits. The Essential offer always makes it possible to recover three monthly “free” games, always announced on the Wednesday before their deployment. So it’s the big day, and the PS Plus games for June 2023 have been made official.

Sony’s response to Xbox Game Pass is taking more and more shape. In one year, the Japanese publisher has been able to transform its service thanks to its two new formulas. If subscribers to Extra & Premium plans can take advantage of a growing catalog, the manufacturer does not forget its trio of monthly games. Many feared that this PS Plus Essential would lose its luster in favor of new offers, but PlayStation was able to decimate their doubts little by little. The publisher has indeed, for the moment, regularly offered a solid selection, despite a few less significant months. Last month was particularly divided, for lack of big mainstream AAA. So who will succeed GRID Legends, Chivalry 2 and Descenders? The June 2023 PS Plus Essential games are now known.

From June 6 to July 4, 2023, subscribers will therefore be able to get their hands on a new trio made up of a sports simulation (for a change), a management game highly appreciated by the community and an independent production which has known its small success. A selection that will not be to everyone’s taste:

  • NBA 2K23
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • Trek to Yomi

A solid selection, which will not appeal to everyone

Only Jurassic World Evolution 2 stands out as one of the highest quality in the June 2023 PS Plus selection. In this management game, you must create and manage your own dinosaur park like in the movies. And where it takes a lot is that it takes up the characters and creatures from all the feature films, including the last ones with Chris Pratt. A real critical success, which resonated with fans of the genre. NBA 2K23 will be aimed at fans of the discipline. A very appreciated and qualitative title too, which seduced for its graphic overhaul, its animations, its Jordan Challenge or its novelties in the MyNBA mode. Only Trek to Yomi did not fully convince. Wrongly compared to Ghost of Tsushima, this action/platform game is more like a playable samurai feature film. A true ode to films of yesteryear.
