Sooner or later you will also need silk and for the production of silk on the loom you will need silk thread. Often you already have a few silk threads in your inventory, but then you can no longer remember where you found the material. If you feel the same way, this short guide can certainly help you.
Get Silk Thread in Palia?
The silk threads can be obtained from certain insects in Palia, at least most of them. For example, the Golden Glory Bee or the fire-breathing dragonfly in Kilima Valley drops the silk threads. But also in other areas like Bahari Bay you can find Azure Stonehoppers, Bahari Glowbugs, Hairy Millipede from which you get the silk threads. Since the insects can usually be found quite frequently, especially in Bahari Bay, you can also farm silk thread quickly.
How can you catch the insects? The easiest way to catch the bugs is with a smoke bomb. To do this, equip the belt and then throw a smoke bomb at the insect.

Making Silk from Silk Thread
In order to be able to produce a piece of silk from the silk thread, you need a loom and the plan for the silk. The silk plan or recipe can be purchased from Tish in the Funiture Making Guild Store for 1,500 gold. We have already created a guide on how to unlock and get the cloth loom in Palia. A piece of silk can then be made from five silk threads on the loom.
