How to Save Your Mother in I Was a Teenage Exocolonist

Saving everyone in I Was a Teenage Exocolonist is one of the main objectives of the game. With the requirement to go through life as a teenage exocolonist multiple times to get their golden end in sight while saving as many of your brothers as possible , you will play the hero more often than not in the game. Who deserves such devoted service and such savings is your dear mother, so here is how you can save her from her untimely passing.

How to Save Your Mother in I Was a Teenage Exocolonist

For mom and dad, there is a checklist of all kinds involved in successfully preventing them from their untimely death. To prevent mom from dying from excessive exhaustion and starvation, follow these steps:

  • Before age 14, continue to steadily increase your skill level in biology so you can identify foods when foraging later in life.
  • Also focus on increasing your skill level with animals that can provide food level bonuses. Do it in Geophonics as soon as possible to unlock more activities when interacting with other animals and getting resources from them (especially working on the farm and caring for animals). This also allows you to be able to obtain edible resources when interacting with creatures in Expeditions.
  • You’ll eventually be able to domesticate captured animals and grow seeds in Geoponics before the next key activity unlocks.
  • Unlock the foraging activity in the valley which is done automatically once you are 14 years old.
  • Select this activity until you exhaust all the points of interest in the area, even if it takes several trips during the year to clear it. The time you can return home is when you collect the edible sponge cake item from the trip(s). Keep selecting this activity to collect more sponge cakes which add to the food total.
  • Throughout all of this, focus on controlling the food supply at the command center which can be located on the board in the facility. You should have over 15 starvation safe points when doing all of these activities to save mom.

How to Save Dad in I Was a Teenage Exocolonist

We’re on a mission to explain exactly how you can save those who can be rescued in your colony in I Was a Teenage Exocolonist. Unfortunately, the very personal loss of Mom and Dad will affect your player character, at least in their first life, but that doesn’t mean you can’t change their fates.

Saving dad is much simpler than saving mom which requires a lot less steps. To avoid his untimely demise as the colony doesn’t have the cure to stop the Shimmer from shutting down his body, you just need to find a specific item and bring it back to Tangent once the event is triggered. Here’s an overview of what to look for and how to do it.

How to Save Dad in I Was a Teenage Exocolonist

  • To trigger this event, link with Tangent enough to see conversations/events related to finding the cure for Shimmer. This can be done by spending your time primarily within Engineering, as she is there all the time during her early years, especially. Get the ball rolling as early as possible to make sure you get the cure long before his eventual death.
  • Unlock fodder in the valley, which happens early and automatically once you hit 14.
  • DURING pollen season, get out and explore the valley by selecting this unlocked option.
  • Exhaust all points of interest in the area or locate a particularly discolored spot which should allow the player character to obtain the most important spore samples. If it somehow doesn’t show up on a trip or if you’ve stressed your player character too much that they have to go home, just return to the area the next time you can. and try again one more time. All interactive points across the country would have been refreshed.
  • Once you get a single piece of the Spore Sample, select your activities within Engineering until an event triggers where the Spore Samples you selected are handed over to Tangent who will cure Daddy.

If you followed the steps correctly then congratulations, Dad has been healed and your whole family is now hopefully well prepared and prepared to see the colony prosper as your parents can now watch you grow into adulthood. There are a lot of losses and heartaches to be experienced with gambling, so guiding everyone to a healthier and more sustainable life is one of the greatest merits and joys of paying attention to the events of gambling and doing one’s best for the good of all involved.

How to Save Governor Eudicot in I Was a Teenage Exocolonist

After rescuing Uncle Tonin, Governor Eudicot is the next person you’ll want to get to safety after your initial game is over. With your past memories preserved, you will be equipped with the knowledge of when tragedy will occur. Exactly how to prevent it, however, is where the difficulty lies. On that note, here’s how to save Governor Eudicot.

How to Save Governor Eudicot

For a pleasant change, there’s not much you can do to save Governor Eudicot. It couldn’t be easier to do, but it’s more about having the knowledge of exactly how to do it where the problem lies.

You just need to make sure that you have unlocked the surveillance activity at the garrison before the alien threat in year 14. This role needs to be unlocked, so to do this make sure your Perception skill is above 20 once you turn 12. This should trigger the ability to unlock the event when interacting with the garrison sector in any way. Select any activity you have unlocked there to trigger a particular dialogue said by Rhett, which will unlock that as a possible job role.

Now that the Watch role is available, select it during Glow Season in Year 14. Be sure to choose to sound the alarm to alert Eudicot to the threat of rescuing her.

For more information on how to save who and where, you can check out our other guides to the game. Please note that one particular character during this event involving Governor Eudicot CANNOT be saved – that of the older brother of ‘Anemone, Kom, in particular.
