The Division 2: Find water, food and components (supply checkpoints)

Where to find water, food and components in The Division 2? How can you donate the water and food and what does that actually do? In The Division 2 you come across one or two checkpoints relatively early in the game. A control point is a small base occupied by enemies. The goal is to free the base from enemies and get help from AI allies.

The Division 2: Checkpoint supplies

Once you have freed and captured the control point from the enemy, you will often see one Checkpoint officer walk around, the Replenishment needed. More specifically, the officer needs next to Water and food also Components. You can donate these resources to the officer. The only question is, where do you actually get the water, food and components?

Where can you find water, food and components?

All three resources can be found as normal loot in the game world of The Division 2. In order to find the food, water and components, you should simply loot everything that comes your way in main and side missions. Most of the time you collect some resources in order to resupply the checkpoints.

If you are looking for the resources, you should open the map and zoom in very closely. At a high zoom level you can see the areas where you can find the resources. The food can be found in areas with the Canned food iconthe Water in areas with the Bottle icon and the Components in areas with the Screw icon. You then simply have to loot the crates in the designated areas and you will receive some of the resources needed for the checkpoint officer.

By donating resources, you can also complete the task “Bring supplies to an allied checkpoint” in the projects.
