Tutorial : How to Farm Coal in Nightingale

Surviving in the more aggressive realms of Nightingale can be a daunting task if you don’t have enough resources available. Coal is one of many materials that can be found scattered across regions, and can also be easily found in certain areas.

Where to find coal in Nightingale

Coal is usually found inside Kingdom cavess. While not all realms have caves, there’s a good chance you’ll find Coal inside if you pass through one. Just like other gems and general ores, they can be found in special mining rocks that differ from others. Coal stones are usually brown, with a pointed pattern like regular rocks.

Caves are usually home to some sulfur, which is more similar to other gemstones like quartz and sapphire and has a yellow color. Mining points for these are usually right next to coal locations, so you can make your life easier by grabbing both resources at once. There will eventually be situations where you need it, so it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Coal can also spawn randomly in Desert and Swamp realms, even outside of caves. Although this is less likely to happen, don’t miss the rare opportunities when this happens and seize them as usual. You’ll probably still need to head to caves later if you’re looking for extras, especially since going to higher level realms won’t let you get extra resources by harvesting them. You get increased gas rates, but you only get the same amount of coal from a beginner realm and an advanced realm.

But of course, it may take a while before you can start heading towards those larger realms that lie beyond the Antiquary, so you won’t see any coal this early in the game. And if your construction using coal is destroyed in some way, you can repair it instead of rebuilding it again.
