Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Change language

How do I change the language in Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019)? Can I switch the new CoD Modern Warfare from German to English or other languages? Some buyers of the new CoD MW for the PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will probably ask themselves this question. In this article we have created a short guide on how to change the game language and play in English, for example.

CoD Modern Warfare: Change language

On the PC as well as on the PS4 and Xbox One, the language pack for the system language set is usually downloaded and installed during installation. If you want to change the game language, you can do so at any time in both the PC and console versions.

Change language in the PC version

  1. Start the Battle.net Launcher, open the Call of Duty Modern Warfare entry and click on the “Options” and “Game Settings” in the middle.
  2. In the game settings you can now change the language at the top of the “Call of Duty MW” entry, both the text and audio language.
  3. If you are changing the language for the first time, the language packs for the selected language must be downloaded and installed after the change.
  4. When the language pack download and installation is complete, you can start the game and it should now be displayed in the selected language.

Change language in Xbox One and PS4 versions

If you want to change the language in Call of Duty Modern Warfare on the PS4 or Xbox One, you simply need to change the console’s system language. The change automatically changes the language in the games and this is also the case with the new CoD Modern Warfare (provided the game has a language pack for the selected language and supports it).

Now you know how to change the language in Call of Duty Modern Warfare and, for example, switch from German to English.
