The weaponry available in Remnant 2 can guide you towards the best build in the game, dedicated to your primary and secondary archetype. Weapons are crucial for builds, alongside the more obvious gameplay mechanic of building stats by killing enemies and bosses. But in this ARPG that focuses on the shooter more than anything, you may find yourself debating heavily between melee and firearms as they have unique stats and differences between each weapon subcategory. While you may like a certain feel for a particular weapon or find that one has higher headshot damage for others (including melee weapons), you’ll need to choose one that suits both your archetype and the build you’re grinding. This is Vincent’s guide to whether or not you can sell your weapons in Remnant 2.
Is it possible to sell weapons in Remnant 2?
In the first Remnant, players had no way to get rid of unwanted weapons which they replaced with bigger and better weapons for their doomsday arsenal. You may have thought that Gunfire Games had made the appropriate adjustments to meet the demand for selling weapons to in-game vendors. Although there is a specific area in Remnant 2 to buy and sell called Ward 13, players will have their hopes dashed when they learn that the only thing to sell to vendors is gear. Due to this, players are once again trapped with their unwanted possessions. Although you can buy weapons directly from Brabus, just like in the original game (which is located in Ward 13), there is no option available to sell weapons to him.
An alternative option to selling your wares is to try out the Mutator feature in Remnant 2. These act as a way to imbue weapons with unique upgrades that enhance specific aspects of the weapon you are using. such as damage, rate of fire, shields and magazine capacity. You can buy mutators through Dwell in Ward 13 or as a dropped item by defeating specific bosses.
