The new pirate adventure from Ubisoft was released a few days ago and despite a few postponements, Skull and Bones has turned out to be a pretty good game. If you have already played the open beta of Skull & Bones, you might want to start a new game when it is released and start over with friends. The only question is, how can you start over in Skull and Bones and how can you delete the save file?
Start over Skull & Bones and create a new character?
Unfortunately, the short answer is no, you cannot currently create a second savegame and start a new game from it, nor can you delete the current Skull and Bones savegame. The savegame in Skull and Bones is automatically linked to the logged in Ubisoft account and, according to current information, there is no way to delete the savegame and reset the progress completely or create another savegame. There is also no point in creating a second Ubisoft account, as it is not owned by Skull and Bones and you would have to buy the game again.
Since some players on Reddit, among others, are upset about the lack of the ability to create multiple save games and a second character, Ubisoft may make some changes here. It may be possible in the future to create a second save game with a new second character, but unfortunately this is not yet possible.
If anything changes on this topic in the near future, we will of course add the information here. However, you probably shouldn’t have the highest hopes that something will change in the near future and that you can create a second character in Skull and Bones for the first time.
