LoL: Season 14 players are furious about missing damage…

Some League of Legends players are unhappy with the game’s current tooltips and are hoping that by the time the next patch rolls out, some clarity issues will be resolved.

LoL Season 14 just kicked off with all-new items, huge changes to the League of Legends map, and a whole lot of confusion too. Now that players are settling into next season, a few issues are emerging and players are hoping Riot fixes these issues quickly.

One of the biggest problems is the damage details in the tooltips, which leave players confused as to how much damage they will actually deal.

LoL players demand more clarity on abilities

The lack of information on items and the inconsistency of patch notes is extremely disappointing.

This year, there was no League of Legends preseason, meaning that most of the changes made with Season 14 did not require an extensive testing period for League of Legends players. Sure, the “pre-season” took place on the Public Beta Environment (PBE), but not everyone has a PBE account and can access it.

Of course, there would be some issues with moving the PBE to live servers that have gone unnoticed until now, and one of them is the lack of item information. One Reddit user voiced their frustration, explaining that numbers and performance metrics have been removed from many items, causing confusion and removing clarity.

Don’t just read your gaming news, listen to it too with the SamaGame.com podcast:

Not only is there a lack of information in item tooltips, and when there is, it seems quite confusing compared to before, but the patch notes also aren’t much helps, with many errors in these, which only added to the frustration of League of Legends players.

Hopefully Riot will clean up some of this mess to give players more clarity on their builds, as correct damage indicators are a key part of the game so players know what to build and what would be most useful in specific situations .
