Persona 5: Mementos – how to get Requests, all Requests, how Mementos works and the best time to enter Mementos

The Mements of Persona 5 They are dungeons that appear early in the story, and unlike Palaces with their fixed structure, they are randomly generated levels similar to Persona 4’s Midnight Channel or Persona 3’s Tartarus.

Available from May 7, advancing in Mementos is optional, but we strongly recommend that you do not ignore it, as it has very useful functions.

Why Persona 5 Mements Are Helpful

The most obvious reason is that you will earn EXP and money. Enemies will respawn if you leave a level and come back, so you can spend as much time as you want. Unlike the Palacios, Mementos is always available.

Its purpose is to host the ‘Requests’, small missions for the Phantom Thieves that start in the real world and that are solved by eliminating a particular enemy in Mementos.

How to get Requests for Mementos in Persona 5

Most of the Mementos missions in the game are given to you by Mishima during the story, so be sure to read all the messages he sends you and to spend time with him from time to time.

Besides the Requests that Mishima gives you, there are a few more that require some additional work.

  • Some Confidants will send you a Request and you will not be able to move further until you solve their problem.
  • Get jobs at Shibuya’s Convenience Store and Flower Store and Shinjuku’s Crossroads Bar and work four times at each location.

If you are looking for more advice and help, you can visit the main page of the Persona 5 guide. We also tell you how to upload all the character statistics: kindness, charm, courage, skill, knowledge … And if you want to catch the most difficult fish to capture to unlock the Guardian of the Pound trophy, we tell how to do it. We also have a list with all the answers to questions from teachers in class. Friendships and Romance for When You’re Not in the Dungeons: Locations and Gift Ideas from Confidants and Social Links. As if that were not enough, you have an extensive guide on Confidants with the answers to all the conversations of your Social Links to increase them to the maximum. We have also prepared a guide to get all the Persona 5 trophies.

The best way to approach Mementos in Persona 5

Mementos maps are randomly generated, so we can’t give you a step-by-step guide. Yes we can give you a few tips:

  • It is not necessary to face the Requests at the moment. You can save several and tackle them at once in a single trip. Considering that the game has a time limit, we recommend that you accumulate a few before traveling there. Don’t rack up too many or you’ll run out of resources while you’re there.
  • If possible, visit them when it’s raining: increase the difficulty, but increase the loot received and the number of chests, it gives you more money and EXP and increases the possibility of finding Treasure Demons.
  • Unless you want to level up, we suggest you leave a plant as soon as you’ve eliminated the target to save resources. The lower you go, the larger the areas you explore and the storage rooms will be further and further apart, so you don’t want to find yourself short of resources at a great distance from one of them.
