Show Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Ping – here’s how to do it on PS4 and Xbox One

In the new Call of Duty Black Ops 3, the multiplayer is certainly a reason for many gamers to get the game. Depending on how seriously you approach the matter and how long you have been playing Call of Duty Black Ops 3 multiplayer, sooner or later you will deal with the issue of ping. Sometimes the ping in CoD BO3 is too bad and sometimes you have a very good connection, which usually has a positive effect on your own score. But how can you actually display the ping?

Call of Duty Black Ops 3: Meaning of the ping indicator

In the standard version you will find a view with the current ping on the right side of the scoreboard, but the four green bars in the best case only show the connection very roughly.

  • Four green bars indicate a ping of 0-99 ms
  • Three green bars indicate a ping of 100-199 ms
  • Two yellow bars indicate a ping of 200-299 ms
  • A red bar indicates a ping of 300+

As you can see, the information is quite imprecise and as an experienced player you can’t do much with it.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 View Ping

If you want more detailed information about your current ping to be displayed in MS, you can quickly set this up using a switch in the settings. You can find out where you can find the setting in the PS4 or PS3 or Xbox One or 360 version of Call of Duty Black Ops 3 in the following list.

  1. To do this, press the menu button on your PS3’s controller.
  2. Go to the “Options” tab and select “Network” at the bottom center.
  3. Now scroll all the way down and under “Connection display” you can see a detailed ping display for the CoD Black Ops 3 multiplayer.

The ping is not displayed in the scoreboard but in the menu. In addition to the exact ms information, you can also see a packet loss here in case there are problems with the connection somewhere. This way you can earn more cryptos for supply deliveries.
