Solution : Here’s how the auto-cast feature works in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

There are plenty of spells and abilities available in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to help your team succeed in battle, and Autocast Materia is definitely one of the best – so we’re here to explain what exactly it is and how to make the most of it in the game.

Whether you’re upgrading your weapon or trying to gain SP quickly, there are many different ways to approach combat in FF7 Rebirth, and using auto-casting will definitely help your team.

What is autocasting in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

Auto-Cast is one of the best Materia you can use in Final Fantasy 7 and allows to an ally to automatically use spells when you’re not actively controlling them. This is blue matter, meaning it must be combined with a different colored material to work.

Using spells can provide various benefits, including dealing elemental damage to enemies or healing and buffing teammates, so automatically casting them with this Materia can come in handy.

How to use auto-casting in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

All you need to do with Auto-Cast for it to work is place it next to other Matter in the connected socket. As you can see in the image below, I placed mine next to the healing material with Aerith (the strongest magic user).

So when I or a teammate are in trouble, Auto-Cast Materia will allow Aerith to automatically heal us without having to switch to her or manually use her built-in ATB.

That’s everything you need to know about autocasting in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. With this knowledge, you will be able to build the best party, regardless of the combination. If you’re looking for more information on FF7 Rebirth, be sure to visit our Final Fantasy homepage where you’ll learn how to get Yuffie to join your team or how to find and defeat the Tonberry King.

Solution : A giant hand has appeared on the Fortnite map – here’s why

As we approach the final days of Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 1, a mysterious giant hand has appeared on the map, but what does it mean? Everything indicates that the upcoming season will be…

Fortnite fans were surprised when a giant fiery fist emerged from the ground near Ruined Reels Saturday, March 2, 2024. This is the latest in a series of trailers that give us a sneak peek at what we can expect when Chapter 5: Season 2 begins.

Why is there a big hand in Fortnite?

The giant hand that appeared on the Fortnite map is trailer for Chapter 5: Season 2, which is widely rumored to have a Greek mythology theme.

In his hand he holds a chest that is probably Pandora’s Box, an iconic object in Greek mythology that the gods have filled with evil, disease and hardship – so I can only imagine what will be unleashed on the island if it is ever opened (which, let’s face it, probably it will happen).

Epic Games has been teasing this topic for some time now. Recently, a new NPC called Odyssey has arrived on the island and his task is to collect the mosaic fragments. The last photo shows Cerberus, the three-headed dog from – yes, you guessed it – Greek mythology.

It’s pretty clear that we’re returning to Ancient Greece in Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 2, which is scheduled to start around March 8, so the only thing we can do now is wait and see what’s in Pandora’s box.

Right now, the chains connecting the big hand to Pandora’s Box have quite a large health bar, so players everywhere will have to put down their weapons and band together to smash it with their pickaxes.

Before that happens, there’s still time to complete all weekly challenges and unlock all skins in the current season’s Battle Pass. I just unlocked the Surfin’ Bird emote and I’ve been insufferable ever since.

Helldivers 2 finally runs like a dream on Steam Deck, here’s how to do it

If you haven’t been paying attention, Helldivers 2 is a real comeback, almost ten years after the last game. We gave it 4.5 stars out of 5 in our review, and it was a big success for Sony on PS5 and Steam.

Yes, Helldivers 2 is the talk of the town, and as you’d expect considering the first game played so well on the Vita, it’s also a great experience on Steam Deck.

While we were a little worried that Valve’s compatibility review wouldn’t be available at launch, and the Anti-Cheat issues and system issues at launch had us fearing the worst, I’m happy to say that Helldivers 2 is literally a hit on Steam Deck thanks to Valve’s post-launch Proton Hotfix.

A Proton fix has just been deployed for Helldivers 2 failing to launch.

Yes, Helldivers 2 is the perfect game for Steam Deck

The photos above were taken on the steam deck, and as you can see, even during the darker, night mission, there is plenty of detail in the photos.

I admit that entering some in-game terminal commands can be difficult, but otherwise using the Steam Deck is a fantastic experience.

Playing on the Steam Deck OLED, I had a pretty decent frame rate even on chaotic bug-busting missions with orbital strikes. In fact, I managed to complete more than one difficult mission while lying on the couch.

Helldivers 2’s structure, where you return to your ship between missions to change gear and select your next objective, also makes it the perfect game to play in pieces – much like Monster Hunter World or Rise.

Helldivers 2’s Steam Deck compatibility rating clarified

While Valve’s rating for Helldivers 2 is “playable” as opposed to its green “Great on board” rating, the gripes are relatively minor.

First, smaller text can be enlarged using the Steam Deck magnifier. This system-level feature can be triggered by by holding down the Steam button and pressing L1.

Another noteworthy item on Valve’s list is “manually configure graphics settings,” but in testing I found the basic presets to be more than acceptable. You can check out Helldivers 2’s preset graphics settings on Steam below.

Sure, you lose some detail at 800p, but that’s a small price to pay to be able to play one of the best games of 2024 (so far) on the go.

Here’s the Witcher trailer rap you’ve been waiting for

“I’m built hard to deal with Nilfgaard and real scarred.”

Netflix recently released the first trailer for his new TV series based on the popular The Witcher books based. This video inspired an enterprising nerdcore MC to create Geralt and the Witcher Universe to write appropriate lines and underlay the trailer with it. The English rapper Dan Bull combines his track “The Bestiary” with the footage showing the fierce looking Henry Cavill shows. That expression fits perfectly with the rapped list of Geralt’s monstrous enemies. The result is reminiscent of you Pokemon Rap, only here Alghouls take the place of Articuno.

Dan Bull pleased us beforehand a Borderlands 2 track, which gave us the phrase “Vault Hunter S. Thompson”. That’s very good, even if he’s not quite there (yet). Mega Ran reaches.

Genshin Impact and the most common error codes: here’s how to fix them

Genhsin Impact is the title of the moment and to be able to play it you need an internet connection which is also used to redeem the daily prizes and access the online store. Therefore, server-related problems need to be resolved. There are three specific errors that can appear in the PC, PS4, iOS and Android versions of Genshin Impact and below you can take a look at the solutions.

Error Codes 4206 and 4201: These are two common error codes and appear when the user connection is having some problem. The quickest way to check for this error is to make sure you are fully connected to a stable and private internet connection. In some cases, however, the game servers may be completely down. In this case you can try to restart the device, restart the router and / or modem and always look for a wired connection before connecting via Wi-Fi. If this is not enough, some users suggest changing the server country: in many cases the error disappears.

Error Code 9908: the cause of this code is not known at the moment, but the development studio says that it should be enough to restart the game to fix it. If the error continues unfortunately the only advice is to delete and reinstall the game from scratch.

Although these errors appear on all platforms, the platform where they often happen is the PC. Playing on mobile devices can also cause these problems, as the mobile phone may disconnect from WiFi for no reason. In any case, the development studio has several updates in the pipeline so probably in the future the servers will be much more stable.

Here’s how I did a 365-day time lapse with the iPhone and two simple shortcuts

Today, I just completed a one-year Time Lapse. My tools? An iPhone and two shortcuts. With the greatest simplicity, I photograph the view from my house for 356 days and the result is a video of the changing of the seasons, from spring to spring.

Every day at 3 p.m.

Today, I just completed a one-year Time Lapse. My tools? An iPhone and two shortcuts.

You can find a detailed guide at @SamaGame. pic.twitter.com/I5sLTF7V05

– David Bernal Raspall (@ david_br8) May 19, 2020

Simplicity and ease have been key to carrying out the projectSince I wanted to avoid having tripods, dedicated cameras and other mounts around the house. So after several tests and trials, I established some simple rules and followed them for a whole year. The objective of the exercise was to photograph the view of my house every day at three in the afternoon, a favorable time for me and well lit.

The first challenge that was presented was storage of photographs. Of course I could just take the photos and save them in the app Pictures, but the idea of having so many photos mixed together seemed messy, so I decided on a shortcut.

Thanks to the app Shortcuts I immediately knew I could do two things: save photos outside of Pictures easily and automatically edit the video without any intervention on my part. So I put get down to business and I created two shortcuts.

Shortcuts, my main tool

The first shortcut is very simple. Take a photo, rename it, and save it to iCloud. Let’s see in more detail how to create this shortcut:

  • We open the app Shortcuts on our iPhone (or iPad).
  • We touch To create a shortcut.
  • We are looking for Photo and we add To take a picture, our first step.
  • We are looking for Last name and we add Set the name.
  • We are looking for record and we add Save file.

We have the three basic steps of our shortcut, now let’s adjust the details:

  • We locate Rename the photo to and we touch in the section Last name below.
  • We touch Variables.
  • We choose Current date.
  • In the third step, that of savings, we deactivate Ask where to save.
  • In Destination path, behind / Shortcuts /, we write the name of a folder.
  • We are pressing following.
  • We define a name, for example TimeLapse Photoand click OK.

Shortcut created. We went one more step.

  • We open the app Records.
  • We enter the file Shortcuts in iCloud Drive.
  • We create a folder with the same name as the one we wrote in step 5 of the previous paragraph.

Ready. We can now start to photograph. To remind us to take photos every day at the same time, we have several resources, a reminder can be a good option, but the best option is automate Shortcuts. With this system we can receive a notification every day at a specific time and with a simple touch the system will launch the shortcut for us with the camera ready. Let’s do it:

  • We open the app Shortcuts.
  • We enter the tab Automate.
  • We have hit the « + ».
  • We choose Create personal automation.
  • We touch Time of the day.
  • We choose the precise time.
  • We are pressing following.
  • We touch Add action.
  • We are looking for Shortcuts and we add Run the shortcut.
  • We touch Shortcut, which appears in blue on a gray background.
  • We select our shortcut TimeLapse Photo.
  • We are pressing following.
  • We are pressing Okay.

And do I photograph like that?

The short answer is yes. Along has a few recommendations. One of the least enjoyable things about time lapse videos is shaky video. It goes beyond everyone’s aesthetic taste, he can get giddy to see it. For this reason, photographs in a time lapse must be cropped, straightened, etc. This, yes, with some recommendations we can avoid a lot of post-production work:

  • Let’s go down always in the same place Take the picture. If it’s at home, you can even count the tiles or use a specific reference.
  • Let’s put the camera more or less at the same height, for example around neck height and a few inches away from us.
  • Let’s focus and frame all the photos in the same way. It may sound complex, but it is simple. Once we have followed the previous two steps take two points as a reference. The first one we will use to determine if we are focusing up or down, the second for the right or the left. In my case, for example, there was a floor lamp, the top edge of which still allowed a millimeter to be seen at the bottom of the photo. In addition, he also used the door of a specific house which still only allowed a millimeter to be seen on the far right of the photograph.

Through these steps, we will get the photos almost ready to produce the video without having to make any other adjustments. Every day when we decided, simply we run the shortcut and take the picture, we examine it, we repeat it if necessary or we touch record consider it good.

Postproduction, the other shortcut

After taking all the photos we consider appropriate, we will move on to post-production. I mean, for create a GIF or video with everyone. Again, we’ll do this with a shortcut. We will create it like this:

  • We open the app Shortcuts on our iPhone (or iPad).
  • We touch To create a shortcut.
  • We are looking for Archiver and we add Recover File.
  • We are looking for Filtered and we add Filter files.
  • We are looking for GIF and we add Create GIF.
  • We are looking for View and we add Quick overview.

As before, we will adjust some details:

  • In the action of Recover Files we will activate Select multiple.
  • In the action of Filter files we will touch sort by and we will choose Creation date.
  • In the GIF converting action, we will discuss Show more et en Seconds per photo we will write 0.1. In Width, we will write 2000.

According to my tests, a speed of 0.1 is most suitable, although we can test with 0.2, in which the video will go at half the speed, or other values. Once finished, and as with the previous shortcut, we will touch following, we will write a name then Okay.

To create our GIF, just run the shortcut, in the file selector find our photo file and select all files. When we see the GIF on the screen, we can use the share menu to send it or hang it on our social networks.

How to create our first iOS shortcut step by step

The steps might seem a bit complex, but they’re really straightforward, especially if we know something about the Shortcuts app, which we saw an introduction to a few weeks ago. Once the habit of running the shortcut and photographing has been created, the rest is very simple. Ideas? A daily photo of a factory or a building under construction can give very interesting results.
