  3. If you use a wireless connection, check the installation location, that is, try moving the PS5 closer to the router or removing any obstacles that interrupt the connection between them
  4. Turn off the router and modem, wait at least 5 minutes, and restart them.
  5. Update your router’s firmware (contact your router vendor for information on how to update your router).
  6. If possible, try opening the following ports. TCP: 80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480 and UDP: 3478, 3479,49152~65535. For help opening ports and configuring your router, contact your Internet service provider.
  7. In network settings, set an IP address manually to improve the connection.
  8. It might also improve if you change your DNS settings temporarily. Go to DNS settings in Network Settings and use a public DNS that certain companies or organizations provide for free and open to the public.
