At the Xbox Games Showcase Microsoft recently unveiled updates to a number of games that were announced several years ago. Prominent titles such as Fable and Avowed were presented with impressive footage and gameplay scenes after there had been radio silence before. But players are wondering: what happened Perfect Dark and State of Decay 3 and why haven’t there been any gameplay insights yet?

But when you look at the list of Microsoft’s announced first-party games, it’s clear that this is just the beginning. Under the Xbox Game Studios banner, there are many games in the pipeline that haven’t been heard of since they were announced years ago. So when can we expect more gameplay updates for these titles?

More on State of Decay 3 and Perfect Dark over the next 18 months

It’s hard to say how long it will be before we get concrete details on all the games. However, some of these games appear to be poised for gameplay reveals over the next year and a half. In a recent interview with Giant Bomb spoke Matt BootyHead of Xbox Game Studios, and expressed cautious optimism that games like State of Decay 3 and Perfect Dark will provide deeper gameplay insights over the next 18 months.

“For 2024, I’ve already seen builds of and even played all the games we’re going to release,” Booty said. “There is so much material on Fable that I wonder why it hasn’t been shown yet. But there are a lot of cool things about this game that excite me. For the next 18 months I’m cautiously confident that we can show what we deliver and that we can provide a deeper dive into gameplay. Our teams are working hard on this and understand that that’s the benchmark: Show us the gameplay when you show up.”

Long development times and early announcements

Perfect Dark is currently in development at The Initiative and was announced back in December 2020 with a CG trailer. Although there have been reports of roadblocks in development, co-developer Crystal Dynamics has assured that production is progressing well. The recent reorganization of the parent company Embracer Group did not affect the development of Perfect Dark.

State of Decay 3 was also announced in July 2020 with a CG trailer and is still in early pre-production stages. The Undead Labs development team has received support from The Coalition, the studio behind Gears of War, in using Unreal Engine 5 for the game.

State of Decay 2 – Use This Exploit to Earn Any Influence (Glitch Guide)

Influence is the money of State of Decay 2, and it usually takes quite a long time to get enough of it to buy the best upgrades and outposts. I’ve already published a number of tips and guides that can help you become the best survivor you can be, but I haven’t reported on any useful glitches yet.

As you would expect with an open world game State of Decay 2 full of glitches. There is a “Stuck” radio command – and you will need it. Sometimes characters will simply disappear, zombies will walk through walls, and vehicles will suddenly start flying. Some of these glitches are funny, others are just annoying, but I’d like to introduce you to one that you can use to your advantage.

This trick is extremely easy to use and will get you as much influence as you need or want to have. This method of getting Influence is not particularly fast since you won’t get much Influence in a single transaction, but it is very reliable and a source of money that never runs out. Read on to find out how it all works.

Unlimited Influence Exploit | Glitch Guide

Is this a glitch or was this option included intentionally? It’s difficult to say. In any case, you can acquire influence for free by trading with another enclave without losing/giving up anything. You don’t need any special bonuses, perks, or unique items for this exploit to work. It works with almost all items, but cartridges/bullets are best.

  • Infinite Influence Trade Trick::

    • Go to an allied (Allied) enclave and trade with these people.

    • Take a bunch of bullets (at least several of them) with you. It works with any type of ammunition.

    • Do you sell Your bullets one at a time to the enclave. (Press Y)

    • Buy the Orbs (all together) back from the Enclave after selling them.

    • Sell the balls individually again. Repeat until you have as much influence as you need or want.

And that’s all! You will see that you earn more Influence per Orb if you sell them individually rather than all at once, meaning you can buy the pile of Orbs back from the Enclave an infinite number of times and then sell the Orbs individually again. You will always earn more than you spend.

However, the profit per transaction is limited, as you will often only make 10-20 influence profit. Pretty modest. You can earn more by simply racing through a horde in a vehicle. But it’s an exploit you can always use. And if you want to know all the strange quirks of this game, you should definitely give it a try.

By the way, this exploit also existed in the first game.
