Animal Crossing New Horizons: Building and removing fences


How to unlock the fences in Animal Crossing New Horizons? When can you build a fence and can it be removed again? Anyone who has already been active on their island for a few days, has activated the museum and has already invited a resident may ask themselves, how can you build a fence? Contrary to what was initially expected, you first have to play a little before the fences can be unlocked and built.

Unlock and build fences in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Before you can build a fence, you must first unlock Eugen and build the museum. You then receive the order from Tom Nook to build a bridge over the river and look for a place for three new houses so that the new residents can come to the island and live there. Once you have built the three houses and equipped the interior with the required pieces of furniture, sooner or later Tom Nook will come to you and give you 50 standard wooden fences. You can then select and set up the 50 fences via the inventory. If you have made a mistake and put the fence in the wrong place, you can always pick it up and place it somewhere else. To do this, simply go to the fence and press the Y button on the controller. If you want to turn the fence, you just have to change.

The fences in Animal Crossing New Horizons are now unlocked and are now also available in the NookPortal. You can buy the various fences in the NookPortal with the miles you have collected.

How to remove the fences?

To remove a fence you simply have to stand in front of it and press the Y button on the controller. The fence part then goes back into the inventory and can be placed somewhere else.

Tip: This is how you can farm iron ore in Animal Crossing New Horizons and plant a money tree from which you can farm three money bags full of Sternis after a few days.

Building Sims 4 round walls and fences: Is it possible?


How to build rounded walls and fences in The Sims 4? Are there any such things as round walls and fences and if so, where can you find them in build mode? Anyone who plays the popular life simulation from The Sims Studios on the PC or on the console in the form of PS4 and Xbox One may ask themselves this question. If you look at other players’ houses on the Internet or in the gallery, you will often see houses with a round fence. The question often arises: how does it work with the rounded fence and does it also work with normal walls?

The Sims 4 build rounded walls

In The Sims 4 you can’t build round walls, at least in the current version. However, there is a trick with which you can easily get rounded walls or even a fence. In this article we have created a short guide on how the trick works.

  1. The first step is of course to switch to construction mode and select “Walls and Rooms” under “Build”.
  2. If you scroll down a bit in the selection, you can select, among other things, a “round plate”.
  3. Once you have placed the round plate, you can only put a fence on the round corner, but if you pull the entire plate up, you will also create a rounded wall (which is not otherwise possible).

There’s a catch with the round walls thing, though, because you can’t use the space underneath. Alternatively, you can also select a rounded terrace in construction mode and place it freely on your own property.
