Animal Crossing New Horizons: Treasure Islands Explained

While there is plenty of content to explore in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you might think there is an actual treasure island. But the community is resourceful. And extremely creative. Over the years since the game’s release, some players have collected all of the items. Yes, even the rarest ones. They then showcase their collection on an entire island, allowing players to come and grab what they need, and that’s where Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s Treasure Islands come from. Here’s what you need to know!

What is a treasure island?

Treasure Islands in Animal Crossing New Horizons are player-created and populated islands with unique items. These include seasonal items, holiday items, crafts, maxed out money bags, and much more.

Unfortunately, many remain skeptical. Are these Treasure Islands in Animal Crossing authentic? Did the player use any hacks or mods to generate items? It’s entirely possible and more than likely, unfortunately.

Either way, the point of a Treasure Island is for you, the average player, to avoid the mindless routine of the game and walk away with lots of loot.

How to find Treasure Islands

The best way to find Treasure Islands in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is to interact with the community. Often, these islands are hosted by large Twitch streamers, who usually receive information about such an island from viewers.

You can also use the Animal Crossing subreddit to find someone with a Treasure Island. Once you find an island, the process remains the same:

  • Head to Dodo Airlines.
  • Talk to Orville and select the online game option.
  • Choose “Search via Dodo Code” and insert the code for the specific island you want to visit.
  • Confirm your selection, then travel to Treasure Island.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Treasure Island Tips

Since the goal of a Treasure Island is to find rare and unique items for your island, here are some tips to keep in mind:

  • Do not throw trash on the ground; use the trash function.
  • These islands attract a lot of people, so be patient and wait your turn.
  • Don’t stay on your Nook Phone for long periods of time, as this prevents people from joining or leaving the game.
  • Leave immediately once you finish collecting the items.
  • Do your research! Most often, these are lobbies for pirated objects. It is entirely possible to get scammed during the process.
  • Be courteous and friendly!

Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3) Best Animal Companions – Ranked

Each class in Baldur’s Gate 3 offers players unique and interesting actions. One of these intriguing and beneficial actions comes from the Ranger class. Specifically, the Beast Master subclass, allowing players to call on an animal companion to aid the party in battles. The feature allows players to call in one of a few different choices for animals, each with their own unique move, health, and abilities. As you can only summon one companion at a time, this leaves you with a tough choice. We’ll help you make that decision and take a look at the best animal companions in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3) – ranked.

Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3) Best Animal Companions – Ranked

This list is made up of all 5 pets you can summon, ranking them from from best to worst. However, while there are objective benefits to using some pets over others, Larian Studios meticulously crafted each companion. Each having their own situational advantages in certain areas/encounters. So if you’re having trouble in a fight and your pet doesn’t seem to be helping you much, consider trying another pet that’s more suited to the situation.

Related: How to find Lathander’s Blood in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3)

#1 – Raven

The best animal, suitable for (almost) all situations, no matter what, is the Crow companion. Boasting 13 HP and 12 AC, where the Air Assailant really shines is its movement. By using the flight action, players can send the Raven to the enemies’ backline. Combined with its other Rend Vision action, which blinds enemies for a turn or two, the Raven works best if you’re trying to block enemies from a distance, as your party tries to close in and close in. Outside of combat, our flying friend is extremely useful for spotting upcoming areas, spotting danger before entering it.

#2 – Giant Spider

Getting to the second best animal for Beast Masters out there is the giant spider companion. While most people would think of a spider as an enemy rather than a friend, this one is very large and very friendly. What makes it a decent choice among all other animals is the fact that the giant spider can inflict multiple debuffs on enemies.

Their basic attack deals damage and gives you a chance to poison the enemy. While the other action, Web, allows you to launch a large AOE web attack, eventually engulfing all enemies in the area. Even though the movement on the jumping spiders is important, we put it under the crow because there may be fights where the movement on the ground will not be beneficial for a companion. And let’s face it, there are tons of times you get into a fight by accident, giving you no chance to set up a party placement beforehand.

#3 – Bear

Reaching our halfway point for Baldur’s Gate 3 best animal companions, number three on our list is the Bear companion. Seemingly taking the place of a de facto tank role, the bear has the most HP of all the companions on the list. Therefore, players can enjoy its action movement, Goading Roar. This AOE move causes any enemy within its range to attack the bear praising other party members. Assist you in a pinch in case you are surrounded or cornered. The trade-off being the fact that: it’s a ginormous fuzzy bear. So if you’re looking to go into blazing shields, the bear could be extremely supportive. However, once Goading Roar has been used, your bear is nearly dead within a turn or two.

#4 – Boar

The penultimate animal on our list is the Wild boar companion. 11 HP and AC put it down companion health. That said, if you face a lot of enemies grouped together, the boar will be your best friend. Using Boar Charge, he can dash 30 feet forward, dealing damage to all enemies in his path, with a chance to knock them down. The main trade-off, along with their health, comes from their movement speed. This will make you think twice before sending them charging headfirst into the enemy defensive line.

#5 – Wolf

Rounding out the best animal companions in Baldur’s Gate 3 list at the very bottom is a mutual and cuddly friend for Beast Masters, the Wolf. There is nothing fundamentally negative to say about the companion Wolf, nor is there much additional use. The extra action move it has, To bite, serves as a slightly less effective boar charge (but with additional damage). Where it fails is the fact that it can only target one enemy. And with his HP pool quite low at 11, he won’t be around in a fight for too long, like the Bear or even the Raven.

Unlock Fae Farm Stable: Get Brush and Animal Food

In the new Fae Farm you get to know the first animals early in the game. The animals are the Gackerie (chicken) and the Wollhäschen (hare). After purchasing the animals, you have to take them to the animal enclosure and register them using the name list. In addition to the animal enclosure for the Gackerie and Woolly Bunny, you can also unlock a large stable later in the game. In the stable you can keep the Mamuh (cow) and the Wollhorn (sheep). The only question is, how can you unlock the stable in Fae Farm and where do you actually get the food to feed or the brush to care for the animals?

Unlock stable and barn

While the animal enclosure is unlocked and can be used right at the start of the game, you only have to unlock the stable as the game progresses. The stable is unlocked after completing the Saltwater Mine and Floating Ruins (and the associated main quests). The stable is located in the eastern part of the property and functions similarly to the animal enclosure. After you have purchased a Mamuh or a wool horn from Jeremiah in the Plains of Abundance, you must register the animals again using the name list and regularly fill the feeding trough with food.

As in the animal enclosure, there is also a feeding trough upgrade for the stable. With the upgrade you can put out food for 10 days straight away, saving you the daily trip to the stable.

Get a brush and make food

To ensure that the animals are in a good mood and produce crops diligently, the animals must be fed regularly. You can also improve the animals’ mood by regularly petting them, taking them out for fresh air and brushing them, which also has a positive effect on yields. Unlike initially thought, you don’t have to unlock the brush first; you own the brush directly and can simply brush the animals using the F button (PC) or the X button (Nintendo Switch).

  • Food for Gackerie and Woolly Bunnies: For the Gackerie and Woolly Bunnies you need plant fibers as food. The plant fibers can be mined with the scythe from the wild grasses and bushes in all areas.
  • Food for Mamuh and Wallhorn: For the Mamuh and Wallhorn you need cut fresh wild grass that grows on planted beds and can also be cut down with the scythe, for example plants that you no longer need or withered plants after a change of season.

PETA wants Palworld to include vegan options. The animal defense organization does not view the game favorably

Palworld has hit very hard and is already defined as one of the great successes of 2024. At least as far as sales are concerned, since there are very contradictory opinions regarding the . Many are delighted with everything it offers, while many others have been quite dissatisfied with its premise. One of the most notable cases is that of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

This has not surprised anyone, everything must be said, since they have been criticizing other titles such as Pokémon for years. However, it seems that Palworld has left them even more perplexed. Something logical if we take into account that it is a much more violent and cruel game towards the creatures that populate its world. “We’ve always considered ourselves experts on Pokémon parodies, but Palwold has taken the genre to new heights. Palworld makes Team Rocket look like the good guys“they wrote.

PETA president talks about a vegan option from Palworld

In a way, you can say that they have taken it with a certain amount of humor, but with a great deal of criticism. However, the situation is much more curious when we take into account the request made by the organization. As Dot Esports has gathered through a talk with Elisa Allen, president of the organization, they would like the game to include a vegan option.

I’ve heard many fans of the game saying that they have no interest in eating Pals“, so they would be very interested in there being a vegan alternative. In addition, he highlighted that we are immersed in “Veganuary”, an annual challenge that encourages people to try to wear a vegan style during the first month of the year.

So, according to the words of Dot Esports, the president of PETA would think it would be a good idea to include some way to play Palworld in a vegan way, although right off the bat it doesn’t seem like the idea suits the style of the game too much. game. Thus, it seems that her request will not go any further, although it is not that she has shouted it to the four winds. Or at least it doesn’t seem like it. Be that as it may, it is still curious, since she believes that There are many players who want to carry out this practice “both in video games and outside of them”.

The 10 most expensive Animal Crossing amiibo cards

The 10 most expensive Animal Crossing amiibo cards. Animal Crossing games allow the use of Amiibo cards to bring certain animals into your village. Some of them are in high demand and can cost a lot. In today’s post we tell you which are the 10 cards that are sold the most on the internet, and what their price is.

The 10 most expensive Animal Crossing amiibo cards ordered by price

#10 Coco – $42 to $74 – Top 10 most expensive Animal Crossing amiibo cards

Coco is technically a rabbit villager, but she’s been the focus of Animal Crossing theories since the first game due to her unique and somewhat unsettling design. The fact is that his design is actually based on gyroids.

Due to its design, it is quite popular and sells for between $42 and $74 in online stores.

#9 Fang – $39 to $79 – Top 10 most expensive Animal Crossing amiibo cards

Fang is a grumpy wolf who has been in every Animal Crossing game except Wild World. Wolves are typically coveted by fans, and Fang is particularly popular due to nostalgia, as he’s been in many of the games.

It’s a bit more expensive than Coco, costing between $39 and $79 online.

#8 Punchy – $39 to $79 – Top 10 most expensive Animal Crossing amiibo cards

Cats are also one of the most desired by Animal Crossing players. One of those cats is Punchy, a lazy villager. He has also appeared in every game except Animal Forest. He also appeared on the cover of the original Animal Crossing for the Gamecube.

Fans might love Punchy because his face always seems to be up to something. Like Fang, his Amiibo card costs between $39 and $79 in online stores.

#7 Apollo – $40 to $84

Apollo is a grumpy eagle villager and he’s a classic. He’s been in every game and even had a supporting role in the animated Animal Crossing movie. Another reason for his popularity is that he seems to be inspired by the national bird of the United States. His birthday is July 4, Independence Day.

It costs a little more than Fang and Punchy, between $40 and $84.

#6 Lolly – $72 to $84

Lolly is without a doubt one of the cutest villagers out there. She is a normal gray tabby who has only appeared in four Animal Crossing games, Animal Forest e+, City Folk, New Leaf, and New Horizons.

Its price range is a bit higher than Apollo, going from $72 to $84.

#5 Marina – $78 to $84

There are only three octopus villagers that have existed so far, so they are highly desired by players. Marina is the only female octopus, and she is adorable.

She has appeared in most of the main series games, and shares a name with a character from the Splatoon series, so fans of the games may want her in their towns. She is $78-84 online.

#4 Zucker – $84 to $94

Zucker is another of the three octopus villagers, but seems to be a bit more popular than Marina. This is probably because he also relies on food. It resembles the Japanese appetizer, takoyaki. Food-based villagers like him and merengue are highly sought after by players.

Its price is currently between 84 and 94 dollars in online stores.

#3 Meringue – $89 to $124

Speaking of food-based villagers, the Meringue Amiibo Card is also quite expensive. She is a rhino villager whose design also resembles a strawberry shortcake. She’s a dream villager for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Many players must also have a sweet tooth, as the Merengue card costs between $89 and $124.

#2 Lucky – $97 to $119

Dogs make for cute villagers, but Lucky in particular is pretty unique. He is mummified! Adding to that amazing detail, he’s been in every game to date. That means he is memorable and nostalgic for many players. He is also the center of many fan theories. One is that he is an undead version of another dog villager named Walker.

Whatever the case, Lucky is very interesting and is therefore sought after by fans. His Amiibo card costs between $97 and $119.

#1 Marshal – $129 to $149

Based on his price, Marshal seems to be the most desired villager for players. He is a ___y squirrel who looks like a marshmallow who constantly frowns. Due to his design, many players mistake him for a grumpy villager. He hasn’t actually been in many of the games, he’s only appeared in New Leaf, Pocket Camp, and New Horizons. Despite this, it has been at the peak of popularity ever since it first appeared.

With all that in mind, it is the best seller. His card costs between $129 and $149 in online stores. So if you happen to have it, consider yourself very lucky.

These are the most expensive amiibo cards out there for Animal Crossing, we hope you’ll be one of the lucky ones and get your favorite villagers.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Money Cheat: Infinite Sternis Glitch?

Actually there is one Money cheat for Animal Crossing New Horizons? Can you find out about one? Money glitch infinitely cheating Sternis and if so, how does it work in the new Animal Crossing part? In New Horizons there is the currency Sternis, which you need, among other things, for purchases in the store and also for building a house. 98,000 Sternis are due for the first expansion of the house, another 198,000 Sternis for the first major expansion and so on. In this context, the question often arises, is there actually a money cheat in AC New Horizons?

Animal Crossing New Horizons: Is there a money glitch?

The developers have not integrated any cheats into Animal Crossing New Horizons. So you can’t just enter a cheat code and get infinite Sternis. Even if the developers haven’t included any cheats, that doesn’t mean that you can’t cheat in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Instead of cheats, many players resort to various glitches, as in other Animal Crossing parts, with which you can, for example, double items and then sell them. You can also farm a lot of money without having to do much.

Money cheat for infinite Sternis?

Just a few days after the release of Animal Crossing New Horizons, a glitch was found that allows you to duplicate items. All you need is a table (or another object where you can put other objects) and a second player.

Update: The bug has now been fixed and you can no longer farm infinite Sternis using the glitch or money cheat.

  1. The first step is to set up the table and place an object on it.
  2. Then you call the second player and he has to turn the table.
  3. When the table is turned, the first player can take the item without removing it from the table.

This allows you to clone an item as often as you want. This new cloning glitch can of course also be used as a money glitch in Animal Crossing New Horizons by simply placing a valuable item or an animal such as a tarantula on the table and duplicating it. By the way, the tarantula brings in 8,000 Sternis per stick. In the linked video from the YouTube channel DPadGamer you can see the glitch again in moving images.

It will probably only be a matter of time before more glitches and money glitches are found in Animal Crossing New Horizons. At the same time, Nintendo will also put a stop to the current glitches with updates.

Tip: This is how you can plant a money tree and farm money bags in AC New Horizons.

Animal Crossing New Horizons: Building and removing fences

How to unlock the fences in Animal Crossing New Horizons? When can you build a fence and can it be removed again? Anyone who has already been active on their island for a few days, has activated the museum and has already invited a resident may ask themselves, how can you build a fence? Contrary to what was initially expected, you first have to play a little before the fences can be unlocked and built.

Unlock and build fences in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Before you can build a fence, you must first unlock Eugen and build the museum. You then receive the order from Tom Nook to build a bridge over the river and look for a place for three new houses so that the new residents can come to the island and live there. Once you have built the three houses and equipped the interior with the required pieces of furniture, sooner or later Tom Nook will come to you and give you 50 standard wooden fences. You can then select and set up the 50 fences via the inventory. If you have made a mistake and put the fence in the wrong place, you can always pick it up and place it somewhere else. To do this, simply go to the fence and press the Y button on the controller. If you want to turn the fence, you just have to change.

The fences in Animal Crossing New Horizons are now unlocked and are now also available in the NookPortal. You can buy the various fences in the NookPortal with the miles you have collected.

How to remove the fences?

To remove a fence you simply have to stand in front of it and press the Y button on the controller. The fence part then goes back into the inventory and can be placed somewhere else.

Tip: This is how you can farm iron ore in Animal Crossing New Horizons and plant a money tree from which you can farm three money bags full of Sternis after a few days.

Play Animal Crossing New Horizons split screen: Set up couch co-op

Can you also play the new Animal Crossing New Horizons with two people in couch co-op and split screen? How to enable split screen view in multiplayer with a second player? One or two players who have bought the new AC New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch might ask something similar. In this article we have created a short summary of how you can play Animal Crossing New Horizons with two people and whether there is also a split-screen mode.

Enable couch co-op in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Yes, you can also play Animal Crossing New Horizons in local multiplayer with two people on one console. Unfortunately, the whole thing doesn’t work in split screen. Alternatively, you can of course also play together with friends and other players in local multiplayer with multiple Switch consoles and in online mode. However, if you want to play couch co-op with a friend in front of a console, then you have to proceed as follows.

  1. First, you have to create a second profile or user on the Switch and this person must also have their own character in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
  2. If this is the case, then the first player can start the game as normal and load their save.
  3. Once in the game, open the NookPhone and select the app called “Call Residents”.
  4. Now you can select a resident, set up the controller assignment and play the game with two people.

The camera is always aimed at the first player, but the other players can move freely (by the way, it doesn’t only work with two people, but also with three and four people).

Splitscreen mode in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

As mentioned above, there is currently no split-screen mode in Animal Crossing New Horizons. You can’t enable split-screen view so that each player has a camera above their head. According to our research, it seems that such a feature is not planned for the time being, at least nothing has been announced by Nintendo yet. If anything changes on the topic, we will of course add the information here.

Increase LS22 stable limit: “There are too many animal enclosures”

How can you increase the stall limit in Farming Simulator 22? How can you get the message “There are too many animal enclosures. Please sell some first and build more stables? This might be the question asked by one or other player who not only takes care of numerous fields in LS22, but is also very active in animal husbandry. In addition to cows, pigs and chickens, you can also keep sheep and horses. There are pastures or stables for all animals where you can house them, feed them, breed them, care for them, collect the products and sell the animals themselves. Anyone who has already built one or two stables will sooner or later receive the message “There are too many animal enclosures” and then the question usually arises as to how you can get around the limit of stables. In this article we have created a short guide to find out what options are available here.

Farming Simulator 22: Build more stables and remove limits

The stable limit is currently 10 and if you try to build more stables, the above message appears. In the settings of Farming Simulator 22, at least in the current version, there is no option that allows you to change the stall limit directly in the game. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t build more stables. In order to get around the message, you can now use various mods that increase the stall limit or even remove it completely.

A mod is called “Increased Husbandrywith which you can build more or more precisely a total of 32 stables per map, which is certainly more than enough for the vast majority of players. All you have to do is download the mod, install it and then activate it for the respective save game. Once the mod is activated, the message “There are too many animal enclosures” will only appear from the 33rd stable and no longer from the 11th stable.

If further LS22 mods appear in the meantime to increase the stables’ limits, we will also link them here. Tip: This is how you can install and activate a downloaded mod in the LS22.

[HOT] : Animal Crossing PS4 / PS5: a release of games including ‘New Horizons’?

The ‘Animal Crossing’ series of games is exclusive to Nintendo consoles, but will this change to benefit the Sony Playstation 4 and 5 consoles?

What if Animal Crossing arrives on Playstation consoles? The franchise is owned by Nintendo and the Japanese company’s in-house studios are taking care of it, but there have always been rumors about a potential release on other platforms. Could ‘Animal Crossing New Horizons’ be the opus that will start the collaboration?

Animal Crossing on PS4 and PS5: towards an exclusive release?

Know right away that nothing official confirms or formalizes the point. At the moment, all Animal Crossing games are only available on Nintendo systems, including the Switch. Although emulation allows play Animal Crossing on PC too, there are indeed only Nintendo signed platforms to access these video games.

That being said, several rumors are heard here and there and provide information on the very cordial relationship between Nintendo and Sony. Both Japanese, the companies would be on common ground and their goal would be the same: dominate the video game and console segment.

Off, we even hear that the two giants seek to confine Xbox to its domain, cloud gaming and service software (Xbox Game Pass in particular). And recently, an info revived the rumor among passionate players:

  • Famitsu announces that Xbox Series X | S sales exceeded 100,000 copies on October 10, or more next-gen sales in 12 months than the Xbox One in 4 years.

On the forums, some Internet users self-proclaimed leakers therefore announce a Sony-Nintendo alliance to try to regain domination over the country, fan of video games.

The very different truth: Animal Crossing will remain a Nintendo exclusion

As for official sources, the tone is harsher and less reassuring: Animal Crossing is a Nintendo license and will remain so forever. There will therefore be no release of the games on Playstation 4 or PS5, and the studios that develop these successful titles are very happy with the Switch console.

  • Besides, a huge DLC paid releases November 05 on Animal Crossing New Horizons. Entitled ‘Happy Home Paradise’, it adds a lot of content and reassures Nintendo’s dedication to wise AC.
  • Changes to the players’ island, new life simulation features… The title will turn a corner and enter its second year of support, far from being “relegated” by Nintendo to a console that is not its own!

So, if you are expecting any Animal Crossing game on Playstation consoles … you will have to come back. The gameplay is designed for the Switch, the gameplay excels and the exclusive features like amiibo are too attached to it for portability.

[GUIDE] : How to swim and snorkel in Animal Crossing New Horizons? Part one

With the arrival of the July update (stamped 1.3.0), Animal Crossing New Horizons brings two closely related new features: the ability to swim and dive. For you the walks in the water and the small underwater trips, you will be able from this Thursday July 3 to soak in the game. Yes, but how?

From when can we swim and dive?

You must have updated 1.3.0 before launching Animal Crossing New Horizons. Indeed, if the function is added in the game, it does not mean that you necessarily have the authorization to do it immediately. Marie will warn you during the island bulletin that swimming is finally authorized, provided you have the necessary equipment.

Getting your wetsuit

So you need special clothing to go in the water. The easiest way is to go to Méli & Mélo and go to the part of the store that sells tools, seeds and other objects that are not directly displayed on the screen. It will also be the occasion for the duo to explain to you exactly how to swim and dive.

Be aware that if the base jersey does not suit you, you can find other models with a little patience. You can wait the next day for the stock change or order elsewhere and wait for delivery. The Nook Shopping offers another combination for 3,000 bells in its Selection of the day section.

Getting your diving mask

The wetsuit allows you to swim but you still won’t have access to snorkeling which is the most interesting part of this Animal Crossing New Horizons update. You therefore need a mask which is unfortunately not on sale at Méli & Mélo. Luckily Nintendo has it all figured out and sent you a mask in your mailbox.

Here too, you also have the option of redeeming 500 Nook Miles for a Nook Inc. Snorkel Mask.

How to swim in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Once you are in possession of your wetsuit, you will be able to go into the water. Put on your swimsuit or wetsuit and then head out to the ocean, on the sand or on the rocks. Then just press button A to enter the water. Then to swim, just hold a direction with the left stick and press A repeatedly to go in that direction.

How to dive into Animal Crossing New Horizons

However, to explore the seabed but also find sea creatures, you will need to be able to dive. For this, the snorkel mask will be necessary, so remember to equip it well in addition to the wetsuit. Once it’s done, go into the water. And don’t stay very close to the beach. Press the Y button to go underwater. There the swimming works as on the surface, the stick to choose a direction then A in loop to advance and Y to go up.

Be aware that your character will rise to the surface on its own after 10 seconds. When you swim, you may see bubbles in the water, while diving, these bubbles become a shadow. Just hover over it while underwater to automatically pick up the treasure or sea creature.

Can we swim in rivers?

No unfortunately, even properly equipped, nothing happens when you press A at the edge of a river or a pond. And when we try to enter an estuary by swimming from the ocean, an invisible wall blocks our passage.

For more information on the title, you can consult the complete guide to Animal Crossing New Horizons where we list all our tips. You can also join the game section on our Discord to share your underwater finds.

How to swim faster in Animal Crossing New Horizons

I like to swim when the weather is nice, don’t I? Although I have always preferred to swim in pools by the ocean; the water on the beaches near me was always green and filled with algae… Fortunately, the waters around your Animal Crossing: New Horizons Island are crystal clear and ripe for exploration. There is a lot of water to cross though, so here’s how to swim a little faster Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The ability to swim in the ocean around your island has been added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in one of the summer updates. Getting in the water is as easy as walking the beach or jumping off a rock face or dock. However, before you can enter the water, you will need to purchase a wetsuit from Nook’s Cranny. Once in the water, you might notice that getting around is a little different than walking around the island. Which… shouldn’t really be that surprising, since that’s how it is in real life.

How to swim faster in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

To move through the water, you have to hold down the A button while pushing your stick in the direction you want to go. Your character will do a single breaststroke, and if you’re not in a rush, you’ll arrive at your destination. For those of us who value our time a bit more, you can swim faster by repeatedly pressing the A button instead of just holding it for a more dynamic stroke.

These same commands apply when diving underwater with the Y button; hold A for a basic stroke, press it repeatedly for a faster. Just remember that unlike on the surface, you can only stay underwater for that long, so while you can move faster there, it would probably be safe to get as close to your target as possible below. -marine from the surface before diving.

How to swim in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has just launched the first wave of its summer update, which means you can now swim and snorkel in the ocean around your island. But you can’t dive straight without preparing yourself. In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find a wetsuit, how to swim and snorkel, and what to do with sea creatures and other rare finds.

How to get a wet suit

You cannot swim in Animal Crossing: New Horizons without a wet suit. To purchase a wetsuit, go to Nook’s Cranny. The wet suit will be available for purchase in the cabinet where you usually purchase tools, seeds, and wallpaper / flooring.

The wet suit costs 3,000 bells. You can also purchase a wetsuit from your Nook Stop terminal for 3,000 bells. They come in new designs everyday, so you can keep checking out if you don’t like what you end up on. Your Nook Stop also offers a Nook Inc. drysuit for 800 miles.

To equip the wetsuit, simply select it from your inventory, press A, then select “Wear”. The wetsuit will be fitted directly onto your clothes, so you don’t need to manually remove shirts or stockings to wear it. Your shoes and socks or tights can still be fitted – you can still swim in them, but if you want to take them off or swap them for something more suitable for the beach, you’ll have to do it manually.

Once your wetsuit is wet, you are ready to start swimming!

How to swim

Once you’ve purchased a wetsuit, Timmy and Tommy will give you a quick guide to swimming, but if you accidentally skipped it or can’t remember, we’ve covered the basics below.

To swim, you need to head to one of the beaches in your ocean. There are two main ways to enter the ocean: wading from the sandy beach or diving from your beach rocks, that narrow strip of land jutting out into the ocean or your pier.

Either way, you will have to run against the water and press A to enter the water. (You must have all tools not equipped.) To continue swimming press A. Each time you press A you will make a stroke, but if you simply hold A you will continue to paddle. You can use the left joystick to move. If you don’t press anything, your character will only walk on water. While walking you can still use the analog stick to paddle lightly, but you will be moving very slowly. Your character will never get tired of walking on water, so don’t worry about floating if you get tired of pressing A.

To get out of the water, you have to swim to a sandy beach. Just swim to the beach until your character reaches land and can get out of the water.

How to dive

No need to swim in Animal Crossing: New Horizons if you can’t dive.

To dive, just press Y while you are in the water. Your character will dive under the waves, and from there you can just use the usual swim controls to move around – A to swim, joystick to move. If you want to rise to the surface, press Y again, but don’t worry – your character won’t run out of oxygen and will seek air when they need it, so you don’t have to time your dives. .

How to catch sea creatures

New swimming and diving features are all about exploring the ocean around your island, which means there are new sea creatures to catch and rare treasure to find. All you need for this is your wetsuit – no netting or any other tools required!

[GUIDE] : Animal Crossing: New Horizons – How to Complete Project K and Bring KK Slider to Your Island

As you progress through Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you will eventually be asked to work on Project K. Basically, you will be asked to prettify the island in order to host a KK Concert slider. There are several steps required to get this far in the game and even more steps to complete Project K. Here is a guide to completing Project K and bringing KK Slide to your island.

How to complete Project K and bring KK Slider to your island

  • Improve services to residents in a building
  • Talk to Tom Nook
  • Build the campsite
  • Invite new villagers to live on your island
  • Build new houses
  • Upgrade your island
  • Get feedback from KS
  • Wait for KK Cursor to appear
  • 1. Upgrade residents’ services to a building

To get this far in the game, you need to have upgraded Resident Services from tent to building. If you haven’t already, here’s a guide.

    2. Talk to Tom Nook

You will find Tom in the new Resident Services building. When you talk to him he gives you a rundown of everything you can do in the new building and then he mentions that he wants to work for Project K. Basically the goal of this project is to get KK Slider for organize a concert on your island. To do this, you will need to make your island a more interesting place.

    3. Build the campsite

Tom Nook will tell you he’s interested in bringing more people to the island. He will ask you to choose the perfect location for a campsite. Browse your island and select a location for the construction of the campsite. It will appear the next day. The campsite will not be usable on the first day it opens, so you will have to wait until the next day for someone to show up.

    4. Invite new villagers to live on your island

You need more people to live on your island if you want to coax KK into giving a concert there. There are two different ways to attract new residents:

    A. The campsite

The first camper to show up on your campsite is chosen at random, but eventually you will be able to invite specific villagers to your island using amiibo cards. However, this can only be done once you’ve unlocked the option to use an amiibo. While a camper is visiting, you can ask them to become a permanent resident of your island. Some of them play hard, so you’ll have to invite them a few times before you agree to move in.

    B. Island excursions with Nook Miles tickets

You can also invite villagers to your island using Nook Miles tickets. Buy a ticket at the NookStop at Resident Services, then take a plane to another island. During your trip, you might just meet a villager you’ve never seen before. Talk to them and invite them to live on your island.

    5. Build new houses

In order to accommodate all of those villagers you invited, you will need to build a few more houses. Speak to Tom Nook at Resident Services. He is eager to sell more land for housing. You will need to pay him 10,000 bells for each house kit you take away from him. For your efforts, you will be paid Nook Miles once someone moves in. You can have a total of 10 villagers on your island, so keep saving and placing new lands until you hit the limit.

    6. Upgrade your island

The most difficult and time consuming part of Project K is increasing the Star Level of your Island Rating. Visit Isabelle at Resident Services to see what your island’s current star rating is. She will let you know which area you currently need to work on to improve your score.

Basically, you will need to build more houses, invite more villagers to move in, and increase the overall look of your island by placing decorations and items all over the place in order to get a higher rating. It will probably take hundreds of thousands of bells and several days.

    7. Get feedback from KS

Continue to connect with Isabelle at Resident Services every day to see what needs to be done around your island. Each time, she will read comments from visitors to your island. Someday she’ll read a note signed by “KS” Nook and Isabelle will quickly note that these comments must have been written by none other than KK Slider himself.

Nook will then call KK from his phone. After a brief conversation, Nook will tell you that the famous musician will appear on your island starting tomorrow.

    8. Wait for KK Cursor to appear

You will have to wait for KK Cursor to appear on your island. He’ll likely appear the next day after Nook calls him. When that happens, you and your villagers can all come together and listen to this puppy’s awesome tunes. He’ll even give you a new track called Welcome to Horizons.

KK Slider then becomes a base island visitor who appears every Saturday in front of Resident Services. For most of the day until 5 p.m., he’ll play whatever songs he wants. However, once 6pm rolls around, you can ask it to play a specific song. A great perk here is that it will even give you a copy of the song you requested, which you can then take home and put in your stereo.

    Live in Concert

Now you know how to get KK Cursor to spawn regularly on your island. It’s a great way to collect all of its tracks and just bring more fun to your game on Saturday. Good luck with Project K! Hope you can quickly level up your island star level and get an amazing island rating from your favorite guitar wielding doggo.

    Main

How to get KK Slider to visit your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Guitar-loving dog KK Slider can come visit your island and play a concert for the residents of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. There are, however, a few steps you will need to take to get there.

After upgrading Resident Services from a tent to a suitable building, go talk to Tom Nook. He will say he has something he wants your help with. Sit down and ask what it is, and he’ll tell you he wants to bring in KK Slider.

For the concert to happen you will need an audience, so you will need to get more visitors to get to your island. You will need to place a campsite somewhere and Tom Nook will give you what you need to set it up.

After setting up the island for visitors, you will also have to work to get more residents. Tom Nook really wants a big audience for this show he has planned.

The third piece of the puzzle is to make your island beautiful. Make sure there are plenty of flowers, furniture, fences, and other things for your residents. Pull out the weeds and tidy up any trees that get in the way. Talk to Isabelle whenever you need help figuring out what to do next.

After that, it’s a waiting game. Keep working on your island and wait for the big KK Slider to decide it’s a good place to visit. He will contact Tom Nook when the time is right. Once he arrives the first time, he will fall in love with the island and will visit every Saturday to put on a show.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons – How to unlock Kéké on your island

What would Animal Crossing: New Horizons be without Tom Nook, Thibou and Marie? Without forgetting of course our charming musician, Kéké. He too is available in this opus and we give you the solution to unlock him and bring him to your island.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons relies on the length and especially the regularity of the players. Thus, not everything falls raw in their mouths and some items to unlock require action on their part. This is the case, for example, with Marie: to make her come, you must first follow a certain procedure, which we will detail in this guide. The same goes for the very famous guitarist, Kéké, who rocked a good number of parts and players in the previous opus. Eh, yes, it is indeed available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Here’s how to unlock it and get it to come to your island.

First, it is imperative to have built the building for the Residents’ Office and thus have unlocked Marie on her island. A manipulation which, like all the others, takes time but happens naturally if you play regularly. Once installed in the infrastructure, Marie will be there to tell you the reputation, counted in stars, of your island. At this precise moment, Tom Nook will tell you about his “Project K”, which is to manage to invite the illustrious musician. To do this, we must accomplish three objectives, summarized as follows by Tom Nook:

    • “First, we are attracting more visitors”.
    • “Second, we are increasing the island’s population.”
    • “Third, we roll up our sleeves to shine the image of our corner of paradise”.

To attract more visitors, Tom Nook will then ask you to position the campsite, for which you will need to collect 15 wood, 15 softwood, 15, hardwood and 15 nuggets. Its purpose is to attract tourists that you can meet and convince to stay on your island. This is consistent with the second objective which is to increase the population of the island. In this regard, you can just as easily visit other islands thanks to the Miles Nook tickets, to buy at the Nook Stop terminal for 2,000 miles, and talk to the characters there to persuade them to come and live with you. Also note that it is possible to boost this with Animal Crossing amiibos. Finally, in order to “make the image shine” of your corner of paradise, know that it is possible to buy plans for decorative elements on the Nook Stop terminal by selecting “Redeem Nook Miles”. It is also possible to embellish the island with flowers and other natural elements.

By performing all of these actions, your island’s reputation should climb quite quickly. Once the 3 stars are reached, Marie will read Kéké’s commentary and Tom Nook will bring him to your island the next day.. Afterwards, the charming and enchanting musical ballads of Kéké are yours!

[GUIDE] : Animal Crossing: New Horizons – How to unlock and use a Part one amiibo

If you’re like me, you’ve got an adorable set of Animal Crossing amiibo figures as well as Animal Crossing amiibo cards somewhere around your house. Each figure or card can bring a specific villager into the game either for a photoshoot or for you to invite them to become a permanent resident. Since there are over 400 villagers, amiibo are very useful as they allow you to invite specific villagers to your island instead of letting the game choose them at random.

If you have been playing the game for a while and still haven’t found out how to use amiibo, it’s because they can only be used after the amiibo feature is unlocked in the game. On this page we We’ll explain how to unlock the amiibo feature, what amiibo do in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and also how to use them.

    Amiibo figures versus amiibo cards

Source: There are technically over 400 Animal Crossing amiibo that you can use if you count the 18 NFC figures and the hundreds of Animal Crossing amiibo cards. Numbers and cards feature NFC chips and are scanned in the same way using your Nintendo Switch. However, in New Horizons, amiibo cards are more useful because they allow you to invite new villagers to your island. Amiibo figures are fun, but they can only be used to invite the special characters they represent to photoshoots while you are on Harvey’s Island.

If you are keen on inviting a specific villager to your island, you may want to browse eBay for a particular Animal Crossing amiibo card, as many sellers will allow you to purchase them individually.

A complete list of Animal Crossing amiibo cards is available on the official Animal Crossing website.

How to unlock the amiibo feature

Amiibo can be used in two different ways in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Harvey’s Island lets you use amiibo for photo ops while camping allows you to scan amiibo and invite new villagers to your island. Read on to learn more about how to unlock any of these features.

    Harvey Island Villager Photopia

If you’ve played Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you might remember a hippie dog named Harvey as one of the special villagers. After a few days of play, this dog will randomly appear on your island. Make sure you talk to him, and he’ll invite you to visit his island. The great thing is that the airport allows you to fly for free. No Nook Miles ticket required.

Instead of searching for gear, bugs, and fish, Harvey’s Island only allows you to enter Harvey’s house. Once inside, you can set up a scene in one of its rooms and snap photos with your favorite villagers. That is, as long as you have a matching amiibo to invite them. You can place different pieces of furniture, change the lighting in the room, and position your favorite Animal Crossing villagers in different places before taking photos with them.

However, it should be noted that not all amiibo work with New Horizons. So far the game has warned me that Reese, Cyrus and Rover minifigures cannot be invited to Photopia. I don’t know if that means these characters never appear in New Horizons or if that means you have to wait until they are unlocked. I’ll update when I learn more.

If you scan an in-game character’s amiibo figure or card on Harvey’s Island, a poster depicting that character will be available for purchase at NookStop in Resident Services. It even works for characters that I couldn’t invite into Photopia. All you need to do is go to the kiosk, select Nook Shopping, then press R to view all the available posters. Use these awesome pictures to spice up the rooms in your home.

The campsite Invite more villagers to your island

Camping allows randomly chosen villagers to appear on your island, which in turn gives you the option of inviting those villagers to live on your island. However, if you have amiibo cards, you can use them to request specific villagers at your campsite. To be more precise, the character represented on the map is invited to your island. Note that you can only really use Animal Crossing amiibo cards here. None of the characters transformed into amiibo figures can be invited to the campsite.

You will need to complete several steps to build a campsite. Here’s what you need to do to unlock the campsite and invite villagers to your island using amiibo:

  • Improve services to residents in a building
  • Building a campsite
  • Invite a visiting villager to live on your island
  • Build additional houses on your island
  • Wait for the villager to move in
  • Use the NookStop kiosk at Resident Services
  • Wait the next day for the visit of the guest camper
  • 1. Upgrade residents’ services to a building

You must first take all necessary steps to upgrade resident services from a tent to a building to unlock the camping amiibo feature. If you haven’t gotten that far yet, here’s a guide on upgrading resident services.

    2. Build a campsite

Once you improve residential services, Tom Nook will tell you that he wants to open a campsite. He will then ask you to stake out a field specially for this purpose. After choosing a location for the campsite, you will have to wait until the next morning. The campsite will appear on your island the next day, but you won’t have any visitors until the next day.

    3. Invite a visiting villager to live on your island

The first NPC animal that arrives at the campsite will be chosen at random. When someone appears in the tent, you can invite them to live on your island just by talking to them.

    4. Build additional houses on your island

Now is the time to speak to Tom Nook at Resident Services. Since you invite even more villagers to your island, this loaded raccoon will tell you that more houses need to be built to accommodate everyone. He will then give you a housing kit and ask you to choose a location for this new house. Run around your island and select the perfect place to live your new villager. You will have to wait until the next day for this new house to appear on your island.

    5. Wait for the villager to move in

You’re going to have to wait a bit. It takes one day for the house to appear after choosing a location, and then it takes another day for the new villager to settle on your island.

    6. Use the NookStop Resident Services kiosk

Once the new villager has moved in, return to Resident Services and speak to Tom Nook. He will tell you that he wants to bring more villagers to the island. Now go to the Nook Stop booth and interact with it. He will tell you that you can now use the Animal Crossing character’s amiibo to invite more villagers to the island.

To do this, select “invite a camper” while interacting with the kiosk, then scan the amiibo card you wish to use. If you don’t know how to scan amiibo, check out this guide. Note that you can only have one visit per camper per day.

    7. Wait until the next day for the guest camper to visit.

Finally, the motorhome you invited to your island will appear in the campsite the day after its amiibo is scanned. Enter the tent and talk to them. They won’t always be interested in moving in, so you may need to invite them back to your island a few times before they’re ready to become residents.

If there is no house available for them, you will need to build one. Your island can hold up to 10 villagers in total. At some point you will have to force a villager to move if you want to add more.

    How do you scan amiibo?

There are different ways to use them depending on whether you are playing your game in portable mode or on a TV.

    • Portable mode: If you’re playing on the go, hover the figure or map on the right Joy-Con joystick when New Horizons prompts you to use your amiibo.
    • Docked mode: While your Switch is showing up on your TV, you will need a controller that can scan amiibo like the detached Joy-Cons or the Pro Controller. If you are using Joy-Cons, scan the same way you would in portable mode. However, if you are using a Pro controller, scan the figures or cards on the Nintendo logo at the top middle of the controller when the game prompts you to use your amiibo.

    Animal amiibo

Here. As long as you have the Animal Crossing amiibo figures or amiibo cards, you will be able to invite characters into your game just by scanning the NFC chips. Remember, cards are more useful when it comes to getting the villagers you want to live on your island, although the figures are just too cute to pass up. Enjoy your game! Hope you can get all the villagers you want to come to your island.

    Main

How to Use Amiibo on Animal Crossing New Horizons

To be able to use the Amiibo and make them come to live on your island, you will need camping, we explain how to do this in our guide to unlock the Remod’île.

Once the camping installed, you will have to wait for the first animal to come to visit your island via the campsite, you will be obliged to have it come to live with you (no more obligation for the next ones), and it is from the day after this visit that you can invite your Amiibo to come and camp.

To do this, use the terminal Nook stop at the residents’ office and select “Invite a Camper”. Prepare your card or figure and follow the instructions. The Amiibo card chip is located at the top of the card, where the logo is on the back. The future inhabitant immediately arrived at the campsite.

To do it move to your island, you will have toinvite 3 times, and every day, you have to talk to him enough to ask you about him craft an item (either you already have the plan or he gives it to you) and continue talking to him until you can ask him to come and live on your island.

On the third day, before going to talk to him one last time, go see Tom Nook to talk to him about “infrastructures” and to “sell land”. You will charge 10,000 bells in exchange for the housing kit. Go install the kit he gave you, and invite the Amiibo to come and live with you!

: Which Amiibo can be used in New Horizons?

You can get true amiibo cards on the Fnac, Cultura, Amazon websites, etc. Attention to “mini cards” which are counterfeit and to other Nintendo sellers!

Series Cards Poster Photopia Live at home
Inhabitant cards (series 1 to 4) Yes Yes Yes

[GUIDE] : How to build beautiful roads in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The main objective ofAnimal Crossing: New Horizons is to transform your desert island into a real little village that will attract new visitors. And with the Remod’île, several customization possibilities are available to you.

Today, I have prepared a short guide for you to build roads and sidewalks that will add a touch of realism to your village. It takes time, patience, and just a little bit of effort. And the result is pretty good!

    Remod’island

Before you can make your routes, you have to unlock the Remod’île option by completing the main storyline of the game. I don’t want to spoil this part, so come back as soon as you are there!

You will need to purchase the Remod’île options with your Nook Miles. It will be possible to add water currents, waterfalls and cliffs. But you will also be able to build paths with the 9 basic patterns offered in the game.

The 9 basic patterns look great, but to build a beautiful road with sidewalks you have to think about every angle.

    Custom designs

To build your streets, you have to use the pattern customization tool. Yes, yes, the same tool that we use to make clothes or flags!

Open this option on your Nook phone and choose an empty box. For this tutorial, you need 20 boxes. I warned you, it takes a long time to prepare!

    Every angle matters

You can also download patterns from the web. It’s a good option, but personally, I preferred to build the whole thing myself.

    For the street

You will have to draw every possible angle. You can make a box completely gray and voila, but I believe having white lines adds a layer of realism. at

I opted for one-way roads, but you can also make lines to delimit the different directions of traffic.

Here are all the angles I used to make the street:

If you decide to use details like white lines, make sure each box is perfectly aligned at design level.

I also made a pedestrian crossing, a horizontal and a vertical.

    For the sidewalk

For the sidewalk, I used the same angles as the streets but with small design details. It is according to your tastes!

Here are all the angles I used to make the sidewalk:

The sidewalk will follow the corners of the street. Prepare your space accordingly

Once all your designs are ready, you simply have to select the pattern by pressing “+”. You will need to change the pattern depending on the angle of your road, so be patient!

ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS: HOW TO CREATE PERSONALIZED PATHS?

If you want your island to be a little more your image and especially your taste, here is a guide that will help you create or download paths with personalized patterns.

HOW TO CREATE CUSTOM TRAILS IN NEW HORIZONS?

For it, you must first unlock the Remod’île application via your Nook Phone, then go to the Residents Office at the Nook Stop machine. From there, go to “Redeem Nook Miles”, then select “Personal road permit“, This permit is priced at 2 300 Miles Nook. Once purchased, your phone will update, and forward for custom routes!

The possibilities in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are endless! You can customize your little island as you see fit, and the novelty of this new opus is the Remod’île application which lets you create cliffs, enlarge streams, and create paths!

HOW AND WHERE TO FIND PERSONALIZED PATTERNS?

There are several ways to get custom designs. You can first create them yourself, but you can also download them directly with the game via QR Codes. To do this, download these QR Codes directly through the application, or otherwise go to the back of the Fairy Finger Sisters shop.

Then, if the chosen model requires a QR Code, you will need to download the Nintendo Switch Online app on your mobile, available on iOS and Android, then after downloading it, take a picture of the QR Code you want. Once done, you will need to open in-game via your Nook Phone the Custom Pattern application so that the code synchronizes in-game. To get it, press the “+” key on your Switch, and your console will find it.

HOW TO PLACE THESE PERSONALIZED PATTERNS TO CREATE PATHS?

In order to create personalized paths on your island with your personalized patterns, start the Remod’île application via your Nook Phone, then press the Plus key to open the menu and select the paths. Then select “Custom pattern“, Then choose the one you want. Finally, to create your path with it, press the A key and go ahead creating!

Be careful, these are different from the paths you bought before, such as the wooden paved road, the brick road or the country path. Indeed, if they are removed by having the application Remod’island on the way with the spatula in hand and pressing A, custom designs react differently and can only be erased with the foot by pressing Y, while having the Remod’île application closed. Also, you cannot round off your angles like with the other paths.

Not to be overlooked either, if you can shape your own paths thanks to the personalized patterns, you can also superimpose it on the other paths that you will have purchased via the various permits available at Nook Stop.

If you would like more information on Animal Crossing: New Horizons or join an active community to share pleasant moments with other players, we invite you to join the Animal Crossing: New Horizons France Community Discord.

Animal Crossing New Horizons: paths and routes shared by the community

Animal Crossing New Horizons shows who has the creative flair and who doesn’t. For these, they will be happy to draw from each other to draw their island with wide-ranging roads and paths. Here are the many creations shared by the community, an article that will be regularly updated.

We are overflowing with imagination on Animal Crossing New Horizons. As the Easter celebrations come to an end (finally! Damn eggs!), It’s time to dedicate yourself fully. to island modeling. Desires drive you but you may be missing the materials. You have surely seen seriously ill people driving the highways and Disneyland while you struggle to install a pretty garden. In short, the roads and streets are not given to everyone… until now!

On Try aGame, we traveled to the very end (and especially to the four corners of the web) in order to provide you with roads and paths worthy of the name. There are several things to know before you can draw the tracks on your island. How to import the patterns? How to put them in place more quickly? And we will end on all the paths suggested by the community so if that’s what interests you, skip the next two paragraphs.

Import designs into Animal Crossing New Horizons

It is not really complicated. You have the choice of creating them (and sharing them) or importing them. In any case, it will take you a place in your inventory in the end very skinny. There are therefore several methods to achieve its ends.

    • With Nook Phone. Turn on your phone, enter the patterns app. Either you draw it yourself and you take a location (free or not). Either you import it by pressing Download (button
    • Layette’s shop. I hope you have made good progress in your game because the majority of creations are done via a code to enter in the Layette store. Likewise, it will require a location in the Patterns section.
    • QR Code: If you do not yet have the Layette store on your island, there is always a QR Code that requires the Nintendo Online application to be read in order to be imported into Animal Crossing New Horizons. It’s still available through your Nook Phone.

Draw your roads and paths in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Once you know how to import designs, you’ve done most of the way, no pun intended. All you have to do is create routes yourself or import them into the game. But here it is, Nintendo has failed to provide intuitive tools for drawing in the fastest and easiest way. But here are the two main known methods.

    • Nook Phone, patterns, select the desired design, apply it to the floor, move around and repeat the manipulation. The most common and the most annoying method. Repeat this action dozens and dozens of times. What a plague. But if the result is satisfactory, we will easily forget these difficult moments spent with the pad of the Nintendo Switch.
    • The Remod’île. Once the quests with Tom Nook are completed and the famous credits have passed (no spoiler you will notice), Tom Nook will come back with you with the Remod’île app. This allows you to draw the island as you like. Modifying the waterways, the cliffs, anything is possible. Best of all, the app allows you to draw roads and paths faster. You choose the pattern and you apply it to the ground successively, which greatly saves you time. Granted, it’s far from perfect, but it’s much better than the basic method.

The different paths traced by the community

Assassin’s Creed Origins – resources, animal goods and their location

Manufacturing materials and still animal goods are the central resources you will need to look for in Assassin’s Creed Origins.

On this page, we will explain everything you need to know about them, including some tips for finding each resource.

For more information on AC: Origins, be sure to visit our Assassin’s Creed Origins Guide and Walkthrough where we have compiled everything we know so far.

Manufacturing materials and animal goods – how to obtain resources in Assassin’s Creed Origins

There are eight types of resources available in Origins. One, Silica, is related to the mysterious mechanisms of the tombs, but the remaining seven are used to improve your equipment. You will occasionally find some in a random box or in a jar, but the only safe way to collect them is by going directly to their source; therefore, here is our guide on where to look for them.

Cedarwood: It will probably get to the point where you will have this item in large quantities since most weapons will produce it as soon as it is dismantled, but it can also be obtained from soldiers – use Senu for reconnaissance and look for it as you move around.

Bronze: Another common result of disassembling equipment that you do not intend, can also be obtained in the same way as Cedarwood.

Soft Leather: Wild goats, hyenas and antelopes are all sources of this material, but the antelopes give you once again that each of them corresponds to four. You can usually find them in places with trees close to the water, but you can also find the smaller herds inside the land; you need to sneak up on them and eliminate them with the bow – we recommend a lighter bow instead of the hunting bow as it is faster and you will be able to discharge more arrows on the group of animals if they start to disperse. Goats can be found on rocky terrain close to villages and hyenas will usually circulate in drier and sandy areas – around the pyramids of Giza is a good place to look.

Hard Leather: Crocodiles and hippos, when eliminated, provide you with this item, although hippos tend to give more than crocodiles. Both can be found in the shallow waters and swampy areas to the east, particularly Memphis and Krokodilopolis (what a surprise). They won’t be defeated without a fight, but hippos are a little easier to deal with – use a weapon with a bleeding effect or poison, approach them from the back and attack hard, always being careful to stay away from the head from them.

Pelts: These come from lions and leopards, and you can find these fierce predators close to groups remote from their prey – if you are far enough away from civilization, in the areas where antelopes are found, you will also find lions. Large concentrations of your enemies may have one or two in captivity.

    Iron: See Cedarwood and Bronze.

Carbon Crystal: Obtained only through chests in enemy fields – the more spears the icon of a particular enemy concentration has, the greater your chances of finding this item. This is the rarest material in the game, so you’ll have to be thorough in your search.

Do you need more information about Assassin’s Creed: Origins? Don’t worry, we did the hard work for you! Take a look at our other guides on the location and solution for all Papyrus Puzzles, where and how you can use the resources and animal goods that exist within the game or, if you really want to master the game, all about the cursed and legendary weapons . It is not enough? You can always take a look at our other guides on how to get XP and level up quickly, how to quickly complete all the side missions that the game offers, where they are and how you can defeat the 10 Phylakes and, finally, everything we could compile on Ancestral Tablets and Ancestral Mechanisms.

Various animals: You can also hunt vultures, flamingos and herons. They will not give you any manufacturing material but you can check if they have any items that you can sell. Vultures can be found in more arid regions and are usually located close to hyenas. Flamingos and herons can be found almost anywhere with water.

With that said, the quickest way to locate any of the resources is to use Senu high in the sky; the landscape will gradually be filled with icons that indicate what you can find in a specific place; so you can signal what you want and follow that direction.

Finally, the Buy Materials skill in the Seer tree can be quite useful. Blacksmiths will sell iron, bronze and wood while tailors will sell leather and furs. They are not cheap and usually have few in stock, and are probably not the best option for obtaining these materials; however, if you only need one or two, they save you a lot of work.
