Palia In Search of Answers: Finding Faadhil’s Letters

Where to find the three Faadhil’s letters in Palia? What do you have to do to solve the “In Search of Answers” quest? Anyone who has already spent an hour or two in the world of the new cozy MMO Palia will probably have explored the area called Bahari Bay in the east in addition to Kilima Village. In the east of Bahari Bay you will find a large tower in which you will find a book on the table at the bottom. If you take a closer look at the book and leaf through the seven pages, the “In Search of Answers” quest will automatically start. In this short guide we will show you how to complete the quest very easily.

Catch and read Faadhil’s letters

After leafing through the book in the tower to the east of Bahari Bay, the quest “Catch and read Faadhil’s letters” will start.

The letters from Faadhil can be found not far from the tower. East of the tower is a large jetty where you have to fish for the letters in the message in a bottle at the very end. Cast out the fishing rod without bait and fish until you have pulled the three bottles with Faadhil’s letters out of the water. You now have to open the three bottles with the “Lighthouse Keeper’s Letter” via the inventory and read the letter.

In Search of Answers Complete the quest

Next, the task “Search the secret location of the lighthouse keepers” will start. The secret location is marked with a yellow area on the map and is at the Lighthouse Lagoon north of the lighthouse. We’ve marked the exact location of the secret location on the screenshot, which is further north from the marker on the big rock. Once there, pick up the glowing bottle from the ground and read the letter again via the inventory. This successfully completes the “In Search of Answers” quest in Palia.

Palia Finding Whale Bones: Whale Story

In the quest “Whale of a Tale” you have to get several whale bones for good Jina. After starting the quest, one or the other player may ask the question, where exactly can you find the whale bones in Palia? Are there even whales in Palia and if so, where to find the largest mammal in the game and get the bones? If you are asking yourself the same question, this short guide to the quest may be of some help.

Where to find the whale bones in Palia

The “Whale of a Tale” quest starts after fishing in Bahari Bay by the large lighthouse and pulling a large box out of the water. The box contains the first whale bone and at first we didn’t even realize we got the bone from the box. With the bone it goes to Jina and from her you get the order to fish for four more whale bones.

All you have to do now is return to the fishing spot by the lighthouse in Bahari Bay, where you pulled out the whale bone box, and cast your line again. Here, with a bit of luck, after a few attempts, you immediately fish a box with a whale bone and repeat the whole thing three more times. After delivering four whale bones to her, you have to talk to her again and the “Whale of a Tale” quest is successfully completed. The next day you get another mail from Jina and it contains a sketch of a whale.

Tip: This is how you can unlock more fields in Palia and grow more vegetables and other seeds.

Finding Palia Buttons: Item Procurement Quest

In the “Item Procurement” quest you have to get three different items like Hekla in Palia. In addition to a potato and fabric, this also includes buttons. While you can get the potato and the fabric relatively easily, one or the other player may have similar problems as we did with getting the buttons. In this short guide we will show you where to find and get the buttons easily.

Find buttons, potatoes and cloth for the item procurement quest

  • Potatoes: You can either plant the potatoes yourself and then harvest them after five days, or you can buy the potatoes from the Family Farm for 180 gold each. Not cheap, but you can save yourself some time (5 days of growing time = 5 hours/60 minutes per day).
  • Cloth: The cloth can be made from cotton at the loom. You can also plant the cotton yourself using the cotton seeds and then harvest it after 5 days. Alternatively, you can also buy cotton from the farm for 180 gold.

But now to the actual question, where do you get the buttons in Palia from? In order to get the buttons, you don’t have to do much, contrary to what you might initially expect. All you have to do to get the buttons is to drop by the good jel located in the Tailor Store in Kilima Village. In the conversation you can then ask him about additional buttons and then you will receive them without anything in return. With the three items it goes back to Hekla and the quest is successfully completed.
