[HOT] : MechWarrior 5 – How to Advance the Campaign and Raise Your Reputation

Increase your reputation is how you earn big money and better rewards MechWarrior 5, but it may seem a bit slow at first. Lucky for all of you aspiring MechWarriors, breeding isn’t that hard.

Increase your reputation by contracting.

The easiest way to improve your reputation in MechWarrior 5 is to contract the various contracts littered with the Starmap. First of all, we need to divide your reputation into two categories: clan and faction.

Clan reputation is your biggest concern, as it unlocks additional campaign quests and grants you more negotiation points at all levels. Faction reputation only applies to the faction you are helping or fighting: take contracts for a faction to raise it, and take contracts against a faction to reduce it.

A clan’s reputation is easy to level: all you have to do is enter into contracts. All contracts offer reputation, but if you see a high reputation quest (yellow icon) on the Starmap, complete it for a large reputation reward (and sometimes a mech or a handful of powerful new weapons). These usually have multiple pieces, so be sure to save a bit to keep up with repairs.

The reputation of factions is a bit more granular. You can check the information on any system you select to see which factions are under control and which factions you are likely to face. The colored sectors of the Starmap also indicate which faction controls that sector (and therefore, will likely sponsor your efforts in the region. Maximizing a faction early gives you more points for negotiation, so it’s safe to focus on one faction. early and stick with them for a while if you want to maximize your grind. High reputation quests and multi-objective quests are great for leveling up your faction rank, but remember this: you can’t mend between objectives in a multi-objective quest, so grab them when you have a stable of mechs and pilots to swap between.

Be careful: failing or canceling a mission can cause you to lose reputation, so try to save before accepting a contract or quest to avoid this penalty.

That’s all to increase your reputation: take contracts to increase the rank of your clan and use the information on the Starmap to focus on the faction you are in to maximize the rewards. For more guides, be sure to keep an eye out for our guides page.

MechWarrior 5 – How to Advance the Campaign

You have completed a campaign mission in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, but you don’t know where the next one is and you found yourself lost. This is by design, as campaign missions are unlocked gradually; not just after completing a previous one. This guide should help you get back on track.

Increase your clan’s reputation to unlock additional campaign missions.

It’s that simple: Campaign missions are determined by your clan rank, and early in the game the level is slow. The easiest way to increase it is to take out additional contracts in the industry you are in that are around your clan’s current reputation. So, if you need to reach reputation rank three, progress through the clan reputation rank two contracts.

There are also yellow markers on the map that indicate quests, and some of them are high reputation quests. While High Reward quests also grant higher reputation than regular contracts, High Reputation quests drown you in reputation.

Just make sure your mechs and pilots are ready to move with them: they’re usually multi-mission and can cost a fair amount of C-Bills in repairs if you’re unprepared. Once you have enough reputation to increase your rank, head over to the Home tab in the main menu and look for a transmission on the left.

If you don’t see one, go to the Objectives Log in the Operations tab, where the available quests are tracked: the campaign mission can sometimes be replaced by the general quest “Increase your reputation”, and it can be. -be why you don’t see your next campaign mission.

Rinse and repeat this cycle until the end of the game; easy peasy. You can even focus on improving your reputation if you want to, and then launch a bunch of campaign missions back-to-back if that’s your prerogative.

This is how you progress through the campaign in MechWarrior 5. For more guides, be sure to keep an eye out for our guides page.

Reputation: how it works and how to get Reputation in Cyberpunk 2077

Reputation works separately from the level system of V. It also has its own XP, but it is obtained differently. You will get it mainly from the Commissions, jobs with their own category that the Fixers will give you, the characters who look for mercenaries to do jobs.

Similarly, you can also help the NCPD stop crimes around Night City. They have their own markers on the map, as well as unique objectives.

Lastly, don’t forget to take a look at the enemies that have a bounty on their heads. When you perform a scan you will see the description with your NCPD database, including how much Reputation you will earn.

How to increase your Reputation in Cyberpunk 2077

Now that you know the basics about Reputation, it is important to know when to perform Assignments. Cyberpunk 2077 is a huge game, and depending on your style of play, you may want to experience everything it has to offer.

Completing Assignments may not seem like a priority at first, but they are important for making vendor benefits and therefore better equipment for your character.

These are the ways to increase your Reputation:

Follow the Main Story – The Main Story Missions will take you to new areas, hideouts and enemy bases, so you will face a few enemies with a price on their heads. You will likely gain a certain level during these missions, so you will not be wasting your time doing them, quite the opposite.

Complete Orders – These quick encounters appear on the map and you can complete them at your own pace. They may consist of rescuing a certain character from a lair or eliminating a group of enemies to retrieve a certain item.

Complete NCPD crimes – They are usually short, so we recommend you overcome these encounters on the way to other missions. It’s a good way to gain edis and experience, although helping the police is not exactly the most punk thing you can do.

Eliminate enemies in Search and Capture – You decide if you incapacitate or kill them, because they are found dead or alive, but you should keep an eye on these enemies during missions and walking through the streets.

How to get Reputation fast in Cyberpunk 2077

There’s no turning back: the fastest way to earn Reputation XP in Cyberpunk 2077 is by completing City Assignments.

The good part is that there are many and they are everywhere, and most will appear to you simply traveling from one main mission to another. The key is to get the most out of your trips: if you go to a new district, it may be worth stopping halfway and marking an Order on the GPS.

Also, remember that you can see all your Orders from the Journal at any time.

You may only have to spend a couple of minutes on them, as they are not usually very long. More complicated Orders will ask you to get a specific item that you can then drop off at any deposit machine (you’ll see a secondary message next to the sell option).

Luckily, there is always one near the mission location, and it will be marked on the map so you can zoom in with your GPS. In others you will have to convince a person to accompany you, but you can always incapacitate them.

We also recommend looking for enemies in Search and Capture in the streets. It is easy to find them in groups or participating in kidnappings (you will see a blue star on the minimap).

If you’re not sure, an easy way to find people with bounties on their heads is to look for green circles on your minimap. Use the scanner to see what you’re up against and then go for them.
