One of the great premises of Cyberpunk 2077 has always been that, on a graphical level, it is a true marvel in many ways. However, like many other video games, CD Projekt’s work has some relatively striking problems and/or oversights. This is especially seen in some textures, such as those of certain walls or floors.. Although at first glance they go somewhat more unnoticed, the truth is that they are somewhat more neglected.
Luckily – for the most demanding – one of the most popular of The Witcher 3 took action on the matter at the beginning of 2023. Emulating his work with the game, he decided to launch Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project. Thus, thanks to this unofficial modification, the game gives a new visual leap correcting some of the most neglected textures.

As we can see in some of the images that he offers, he is quite important. In most cases it improves elements that we surely would not pay as much attention to in our daily lives, but they worsen the visual quality of the game.
The interesting thing is that it is not essentially demanding. Of course, we will need a good PC to enjoy it, since these types of games are especially enjoyed.e when we play at higher graphic settings. What it will ask of us the most is VRAM, but as its creator explains, it doesn’t need too much.
“Overall, the mod doesn’t affect performance in any way if you have enough VRAM. Even if you run out of memory a little, it shouldn’t be a problem,” he explains. In general, we will need between 500 MB and 1 GB more VRAM. Furthermore, if it gives us problems, we can always uninstall it, since it will not affect the game in any way as it will not alter essential files that could cause errors in our games, for example.
