The mystery of Jinshi’s true identity was finally clarified to some extent by The Apothecary’s Journals episode 21, but it looks like Lihaku will be in the spotlight in the new episode. Maomao is also back in good health after avoiding an assassination attempt on Jinshi.
The first court of The Apothecary’s Journals ran for 12 episodes and quickly became one of the most popular anime of 2023. In 2024, the second course continues the momentum of the anime as Maomao takes on various missions as Jinshi’s assistant. The most recent episode saw Maomao and Jinshi become closer than ever, as Maomao saves his life and avoids an evil scheme.
The Apothecary’s Journals Episode 21 Release Date and Time
Episode 21 of The Apothecary’s Journals premieres March 2 at 10:45 a.m. PDT or 1:45 p.m. EDT, on Crunchyroll. The new episode is called “How to redeem a contract?” A total of 12 episodes will be released during the second period, with three new episodes coming after episode 21. By the second period finale, 24 episodes will be available for the first season of The Apothecary’s Journals.
