This is how you turn off the Viaplay commentary in F1 TV Pro

At the Baku GP, Dutch commentary was heard on F1 TV Pro for the first time this season. That’s only the same comment as with Viaplay, which is still not particularly popular. Fortunately, you can change the comment, but how?

Anyone who uses F1 TV Pro this season to follow Formula 1 could not opt for Dutch commentary until recently. That option is now there and for some users it was a bit raw that this option was automatically on during the GP of Azerbaijan. After all, it is the still little-loved commentary that can also be heard at Viaplay.

How do you get different comments on F1 TV Pro?

Fortunately, if you watch F1 TV Pro and suddenly had Dutch commentary last weekend while you don’t appreciate it, you can easily get rid of it. You only have to press a few buttons and you have another commentary track. That way you can switch to, for example, an English stream.

The easiest way is to choose the live option on the right side of your stream window, recognizable by an icon that looks like a circle with a dot. Through this stream you get English commentary from the F1 TV team itself.

By also choosing the option of the international feed on the right side of your screen, you can find even more commentary streams. For example, you can switch back to Dutch, or the English-language stream of the British provider Sky Sports. If there is another language that you understand well, you can also find it there. You can find the other languages by pressing the gear icon, which will show you the different options.

F1 TV commentary can also be turned off completely

Another option you can find with the international feed is an audio track called “FX”. With this you get the sounds of the race without being disturbed by commentary. Handy if you don’t like comments at all, for example.

Another option you have is to get back the beloved commentary by Olav Mol and Jack Plooij, for example. They can be heard on Grand Prix Radio. You have to try to get it right with your video stream, but it gives extra opportunity for commentary to listen to.
