Wandering Sword Crafting Guide – How to Make a Wandering Sword
Throughout your heroic journey, you’ll find various materials and crafting recipes to help you craft useful items like weapons and armor. However, the game doesn’t go out of its way to tell you how to actually make these items. If you’re having trouble figuring out how to craft items in Wandering Sword, don’t worry, you’re not alone!
Searching for materials and recipes can be a real pain, but crafting new items is actually one of the easiest things you can do in the game (once you figure out how to do it, of course). If you’re having trouble understanding how to craft in Wandering Sword, then chances are you’re just not in the right place.
Unlike other RPGs, You can only craft items in a handful of specific areas in Wandering Sword. For example, you will not be able to craft items when you are in the starting village or while walking in nature; you can only craft items when you are in a city.
Once you leave the village for the first time in Wandering Sword, go to your map and zoom out to see the names of all the towns/villages/places in your area. Literally go to any town on your map (but preferably a town near you) and start looking for blacksmiths, tailors, cooks, etc. These are the only places that will allow you to craft weapons, armor, and consumables in Wandering Sword.
Keep in mind that just because you find a city doesn’t mean you’ll automatically be able to create what you want from the start. You’ll still need to collect the necessary materials and crafting recipes to be able to craft anything!

Is crafting worth it in Wandering Sword?
Crafting items is great and all, but with all the amazing weapons and armor you can find and earn throughout your journey in Wandering Sword, is crafting really worth it? The answer is yesbut only sort of.
It’s true that you can find amazing things while walking around and fighting NPCs in Wandering Sword; early in the game, this is a great way to get some good gear. However, once you have a little further into your game and start to find some next level crafting recipesthen it’s time to start getting your hands dirty.
Crafting and upgrading weapons and armor can also be very useful early in the game, especially when it comes to consumables, but it doesn’t start to take effect. Really useful until you reach the middle or end of your journey.
