Mini DayZ – How to Craft Things (Crafting Recipes Guide)

Crafting is an important aspect of Mini DayZ, because you can make some very important things for your survival yourself, such as bows, arrows and even improvised storage bags. Read on to learn more about the crafting system so you can start crafting and repairing things yourself as quickly as possible.

This is how you make things

The crafting system from Mini DayZ is similar to that of DayZ original game. To craft something, you need all the materials listed in the respective recipe/blueprint. Then you have to drag these over each other to combine them into the item you want. It is a simple system that is very suitable for mobile devices. With a little practice it becomes child’s play, so you’ll soon be able to make some bases and equipment.

Unfortunately, the only ranged weapon you can craft is the bow, as other firearms can only be found, which is what this guide will help you with.

All crafting recipes/blueprints

Now that you know the basics of crafting in Mini DayZ Knowing this, it’s time to talk about the currently known recipes/blueprints for items in the game. Unfortunately, you can’t craft too much right now, but that’s likely to change over time as there are plenty of items and materials that want to be used accordingly.

First, let’s talk about bows and arrows.

Making a bow is very simple. The hardest part is finding the resources to make it. To make a bow, you need to find a piece of rope and an Ashwood Stick. You can get different types of wood by cutting down different trees with an axe.

To make arrows, you need to process pieces of wood with any knife.

As mentioned before, the bow (and its arrows) is the only weapon you currently have Mini DayZ can produce. However, you can make improvised storage bags, which are very helpful if you have trouble finding a backpack.

To make an improvised bag (it has three slots), you will need a piece of rope and a burlap sack. Combine these two things to make your pouch.

You can upgrade the improvised storage bag into an improvised backpack by combining three wooden sticks with the improvised storage bag. This gives you five slots for equipment and other items.

The final item you can craft is the Fireplace, which allows you to make fire wherever you place it. To make the fire pit, you need to combine Wood Piles with Rags, Wood Sticks, or Paper. Then you can place the fire place wherever you want and light it with matches.

Not only can you craft items, you can also repair some of them. For example, you can use Duct Tape to repair most items by 15%. Additionally, you can use the Sewing Kit to repair most equipment in the game by 50%. Do you need or want to repair your weapon? Apply a Cleaning Kit to your firearm to repair it by 25%.

There is in Mini DayZ alot of things to do. Crafting plays an important role in the game, but you’ll find the best items by searching buildings, cities, and especially military bases.

Fallout 76 – Crafting, CAMP System and can you build in Co-Op?

Fallout 76 looks set to evolve crafting and building bases first introduced in Fallout 4. The main difference here is that players can build anywhere they want and can help each other defend settlements and camps. There is much to learn in Fallout 76 which is why we decided to create this guide on Crafting and Base Construction to help you. We will cover everything we know about the new CAMP System and see how foundation building works in the first online-only Fallout game.

Build camps and settlements in Fallout 76

We learned a lot about how settlements work in Fallout 76 during Bethesda’s E3 Press Conference. Of course, construction was an important mechanic in Fallout 4, where players could build settlements and attract NPCs to live there. It seems that Fallout 76 has an even greater focus on building mechanics, allowing players to create settlements wherever they want. With no human NPCs to talk about in Fallout 76, it’s up to you and your friends to fill the stage and populate any structure you build.

For that reason, there are many details that you must assimilate and we have gathered them in the useful list that you can read now.

  • CAMP System – Fallout 76 will present a new construction system called CAMP, which is a portable construction platform. This allows players to create whenever and wherever they want.
  • Co-op Camp Building – Given that Fallout 76 is an entirely online experience, players can collaborate on building a camp. Each one can have control over what they want to build, with the camp operating as a whole and shared and defended by a team of players.
  • Defensive Measures – Turrets, traps and other types of weapons can be placed around the field to defend it from hostile players and creatures.
  • Monster Invasion – Fallout 76 introduces new creatures based on the wildlife often found in the West Virginia region but, of course, a disturbing and radioactive version of them. These monsters periodically attack a player’s base, so they must be stopped at all costs.
  • Trophy Shot – Once the monsters have been killed, you can take a photo to celebrate your victory. Players can pose with the corpse of defeated monsters along with their friends.
  • Basic Needs – Each Camp will have a Workshop, a Cooking Pot and other basic crafting points. This is similar to how the settlements worked in Fallout 4, except that they can now exist anywhere in the world.

Fallout 76 – Building Bases in Co-Op

Fallout 76 is the first online-only Fallout game. The series has played with multiplayer before, but this is the first time that we’ve seen a server-based cooperative effort. There was a bit of confusion about how Base Building will work with the various players involved. We have gathered some information below so that there is no further doubt about this Fallout 76 mechanic.

  • If you build a base using the CAMP system and you have a friend helping you, its parts will disappear when you leave.
  • There are public workshops found around the map. These can be built with your friends and will still be present when you login.
  • You will have to defend them against waves of robots and other players, as they can easily steal everything if you are not careful.
  • We will give you more details as we spend more time with the game, so stay tuned for possible updates.

What if two players build on the same point on the map?

Since it was announced earlier this year, Fallout 76 seems to be a different monster than what we’ve seen in the series so far. One of the main differences is in how the bases can be built anywhere on the map. This, of course, led certain players to ask the question “what happens if two players build in the same place?” Todd Howard has an answer to that question he gave during the documentary NoClip Making of Fallout 76. He explains that, while it is extremely unlikely that this will happen, it is possible for one player to build a base, leave the server and another player to build in the same location . Upon returning, the base of the first player will be placed in the CAMP system, where you can choose to rebuild elsewhere.

The CAMP system allows players to create weapons and mods

CAMP is not just for building bases. You can also use it to create and modify weapons. It is an important part of the game, expanding the modular weapon creation introduced in Fallout 4. You will need resources and nipples to create weapons, so be sure to explore Appalachia.
