Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Teleport and summon horse

In the new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom you can again tame several horses and use them as a means of transport. The horses first have to be caught and tamed before you can register them as your “own horse” at a stable. By registering at a stable, the tamed horse not only gets a saddle, but you can also pick it up at any other stable, regardless of the area in which you are traveling. In this context, some players may ask themselves the question, how can you teleport the horse? Can you teleport the horse to a shrine using fast travel?

Teleport horse in Zelda TotK?

Unfortunately, the short answer to the question about the horse teleport is no, it doesn’t work. You cannot teleport the horse to a fast travel point using fast travel, similar to what was the case in its predecessor, Breath of the Wild. If you sit on the horse and then teleport, the horse stays in the same place and only Link is beamed away. But don’t worry, because as mentioned above, you can pick up the registered horse from any stable in the game world and then even call it to you from a greater distance.

Pick up and call horses

After you have registered the horse at the stable, you can pick it up at any stable. Simply speak to the stable keeper and select the registered horse under “Pick up horse”. You can also put on the horse harness here, which you need for some quests in order to be able to pull heavy objects over it.

Once you have picked up the horse, it will also be displayed on the map with a horse head symbol. To call the horse now, press and hold the control pad down. This causes Link to start whistling and the horse slowly but surely comes running in his direction. As mentioned above, this also works at greater distances, where you actually think that the horse can no longer hear the good link. As soon as you have requested and called the horse, the horse head symbol on the map and the mini-map also lights up.

Can you actually improve the master sword in the new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?
