Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Find and Farm Moblin Heart

How to farm Moblin hearts in the new Zelda TotK? Where can you find the Moblin and where can you farm the enemies particularly quickly? These are the questions that one or two players may have been thinking about over the past few days who plunged into the new Zelda adventure a few hours ago and are now using the Moblin Heart either as an ingredient for a dish or as upgrade material big fairies needed. Similar to its predecessor, Zelda BotW, you can also improve Link’s armor from the great fairies in the new TotK. To do this, you first have to unlock the fairies and then get the materials required for the respective armor. Some armor also requires the Moblin Heart as an upgrade material, but where do you get the heart?

Farm Moblin Heart

If you see the Moblin Heart among the required materials, then many players will probably run to the nearest enemy camp and kill a red Moblin there. After you have killed two or three red Moblins, you quickly realize that they only drop a Moblin Tusk and a Moblin Horz, but not the Moblin Heart you were looking for. To get the Moblin Heart you have to kill a blue Moblin.

The location of the blue Moblin is given as the “Plains of Hyrule” and the “Gorge of Eldin”. The Moblins usually stay in the enemy camps. In the south of the plain of Hyrule there is a very good farming route for the Moblins and therefore also for the Moblin hearts. We have marked the locations of the enemy camps with the blue Moblins on the map with the sword symbol in the following screenshot. Like other enemies, the Moblins also spawn again with the blood moon and you can farm the enemies again and again.

Buy Moblin hearts from the dealer?

So far we have not found a dealer in the world of the new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom where you can buy Moblin hearts with rubies. If this changes in the meantime, we will of course add the information here.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Get Miasma Protection

Anyone who has recently plunged into the new Zelda adventure and looked around the underground a little will have become acquainted with the miasma relatively quickly. If Link walks into the black and red matter, not only will he take damage, but the hearts will also appear at the top left of the screen with a crack in the middle. If you then try to heal yourself from the miasma, only the message “Damage suffered by miasma will not be healed” appears. Eat anyway?”. In addition to the question of how to cure the miasma, some players may also ask themselves the question of miasma protection.

Heal Miasma in Zelda TotK

There are several ways by which the broken hearts from the miasma can be restored and healed.

  • Place under an underground root: Using the underground roots you can not only reveal the map underground, but also heal the miasma. To do this, simply place it under the root and the hearts will gradually be restored.
  • Travel to the Overworld: As long as you remain underground, hearts destroyed by miasma will not be restored. However, if you travel to the overworld, the hearts will automatically be restored over time without you having to do anything.
  • Cooking dishes that cure the miasma: There are various dishes that not only restore the normal hearts but also cure the miasma debuff. This includes, for example, the Sol steam meat, which can be prepared from 2x game meat and 3x sunspots.

Create miasma protection

As with other debuffs, there is protection against miasma in the form of dishes and medicine. All you need are the so-called dark lumps, which you can exchange for will-o’-the-wisps at one of the magician statues. A statue can be found directly in the starting area at the scout post in Joshua’s house. For 10 will-o’-the-wisps you get a lump of darkness, which you can then prepare at the nearest cooking place to provide miasma protection.

  • Warden Mage Rice Balls – 1x Dark Lumps, 1x Rock Salt, 1x Hyrule Rice

Miasma armor for protection

In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom you can find and unlock numerous pieces of armor as the story progresses. There is, among other things, the darkness armor with which Link automatically receives miasma protection. In order to unlock the darkness armor, you have to find the mage statues where you hand in the will-o’-the-wisps. If you want to look at the locations of the brothers that you have to find for the miasma protection armor in the form of the darkness set, we recommend the linked video guide.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Defeating Hands

How to beat hands in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? What can you do against the miasma hands and what is the easiest tactic to take down the opponent? These two questions may be occupying one or the other player from the new Zelda adventure in the past few days. If you don’t accidentally encounter the hands while exploring different areas, then at the latest at the Deku Tree you will encounter the Miasma Hands with a subsequent fight against Phantom Ganon. In this short guide we show how to beat hands in Zelda TotK.

Defeat Hands with Bomb Arrows

When encountering the miasma hands for the first time, some players will probably die after a short time. The hands seem to appear out of nowhere and follow Link. They are so fast that you can barely outrun them by sprinting. If the stamina then decreases, Link will be grabbed by his hands and dealt damage. In doing so, Link suffers Miasma damage, which makes the fight even more difficult.

In order to easily defeat the hands in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you need around 8 to 10 bomb arrows (in case an arrow goes wrong). The Bomb Arrows can be crafted from a regular Wooden Arrow and a Thunder Flower. Then, from a safe distance, you shoot several bomb arrows one after the other at your hands. The important thing is that you have to do all the hands and do it as quickly as possible, otherwise they will spawn again over time. With an aimed shot you can hit all hands with the explosion of the bomb arrow and after five shots (depending on the bow) the hands are history. If there are still one or two hands with low life points left, you can also go into melee combat. Just be careful not to get grabbed, as this usually spawns new hands.

  • Keep a safe distance from miasma hands
  • Shoot the hands with bomb arrows and try to hit them all at the same time
  • When Link is grabbed by his hands, rock the left analog stick back and forth to allow him to break free
  • Use miasma protection and if necessary food with additional hearts (maximum food)
  • If possible, climb a tree or other elevation where Link’s hands cannot reach
  • Alternatively, you can also freeze your hands and then deal damage, but the variant with the bomb arrows is much easier and faster

In some areas you can also save yourself on a ridge or a tree if the hands are chasing you. In this case, fighting the miasma hands is even easier, since you just have to shoot at the opponent from above. If you get grabbed by your hands in between, you can free yourself by moving the left stick back and forth. If the fight against the hands is still too hard, then you should eat maxi food (with maxi truffle, increases hearts above the maximum) and use a miasma protection so that you don’t take miasma damage and the Hearts can always be refilled in battle.

By the way, if you have a bow with which you can shoot several arrows at once (e.g. the Leunenbogen), you can defeat the hands even more easily and quickly.

After Miasma Hands comes the Phantom Ganon

After successfully leveling the Miasma Hands in the Deku Tree, the battle is not over. Next up is the fight against the Phantom Ganon. The Phantom Ganon should also be used with a miasma guard and/or a spear if possible so you don’t keep walking into the miasma it creates and taking damage. You can block his attacks with a perfect dodge and then counterattack. Sometimes he’ll fly towards you, then just jump backwards at the right moment and deal damage again in slow-mo mode. The bomb arrows are also recommended against Phantom Ganon, with which you can occasionally cause damage.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: The Underground Temple Quest

Where can you find the underground temple? In the past few days, this may be the question asked by one or the other player who was just at the scout post and picked up the eponymous quest “The Temple in the Underground” from the researcher Josha. The quest starts after completing the “People Underground” quest, where you have to go underground and search for Romelo there. You also have to take a picture of a statue. Since the temple you are looking for is not that easy to find underground, we have created a short guide with a solution for the quest here.

The underground temple in Zelda TotK

As mentioned above, you must first complete the “People Underground” quest before you can search for the Temple Underground. Picked up the quest from Josha and you’re good to go. The description says “Enigmatic statues can be seen on the large mural that Josha assembled from small fragments. Josha noticed that all of the statues’ gazes end at a temple-like building in the middle“. The temple-like building can be found underground at the abandoned Central Mine, which is beneath the “Forgotten Plateau” in the overworld.

  1. If unlocked, teleport to the underground root “Inoguqojk” and then simply follow the path south. Alternatively, you can teleport to the Nusimak underground root and then head southwest.
  2. If you haven’t unlocked the two underground roots yet and have no idea where to find the temple underground, you should jump into the underground entrance at the forest of times north of the Panora Mountain. At the bottom walk a few meters to the north and here you will find the mentioned Nusimak root (see screenshot). From there walk to the southwest and you can already see the temple you are looking for in the distance.
  3. At the temple you have to talk to the researcher and activate the green symbol. Link then learns the “Bauto” ability from the minion construct. After learning the Baumatik skill and building the vehicle, there is a battle against Koga, the leader of the Yiga.
  4. Finally, you have to report back to Josha, assemble the balloon using the newly learned Bautomatic ability and the “The Temple in the Underground” quest is successfully completed.

Incidentally, Bautomatic is Link’s “last hidden ability”.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Get Gibdo Wings and Bones

Where to get the Gibdo wings in Zelda TotK? What monsters do you have to kill to get the Gibdo Bones? One or two players from the new Zelda adventure on the Nintendo Switch may have been dealing with these questions in the last few days. The question of where the Gibdo wings and bones were found usually arises when you are in the process of improving the armor of the great fairies. Some armors like the Aero set require the Gibdo Wings and Gibdo Bones as upgrade materials.

Get Gibdo Bones

Similar to the Gibdo Heart, the Gibdo Bones are obtained from the Gibdo Monsters of the same name. The Gibdo can be found in the Gerudo Desert and in the Gerudo Desert underground. A good farming spot for the Gibdo and thus also for the Gibdo bones are the caves in the Gerudo desert. The caves, such as the cave in Central Gerudo, can be entered via sand whirlpools with the quicksand. In the caves you will usually find around 5 to 6 Gibdo. In order to take care of the bony opponents as quickly and easily as possible, you should use an electric weapon. A magic wand with a topaz, for example, can be used as a weapon.

Find Gibdo Wings

To get the Gibdo Wings you need to kill the Gibdo Queen. The Gibdo Queen is a mini-boss that you encounter as part of the quest “Riju from Gerudo Town” and also in the underground. We have drawn the locations of the Gibdo Queen underground on the screenshot. Compared to the fight against the Gibdo, the Gibdo Queen is much stronger, since she can withstand more and deal more damage.

Is it actually possible to improve and strengthen the master sword in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Foodie Missing

In the southeast of Hyrule Plains you will find the stable by the river and next to the stable you will find Paen, from whom you will receive the quest “Foodie Missing”. Paen reveals that the chef, named Godric, is concerned about the guests who occasionally stay at the stable. So far, despite the announcement, the guests have not yet appeared at the stable. Supposedly he wants to teach one of the guests a recipe that Princess Zelda gave her personally. The question arises, what do you have to do here and how can you complete the “Gourmet Missing” quest?

Gourmet misses solution

  1. After accepting the quest from Paen, you need to stop by and speak to the cook named Godric. The cook Godric is a few meters further behind the stable. In Godric’s conversation, it is revealed that the guests could be Paragus and the others behind the Oto Bridge.
  2. So walk to the Oto Bridge (or swim the Hylia River if you have enough stamina) and follow the path east to Lake Morgo.
  3. After a few meters you will find a camp with several tents on the right side and the characters you are looking for, such as the aforementioned Paragus, are sitting in front of it. The recipe you are looking for is also on the table. This is the wild rice recipe based on Princess Zelda. The ingredients for the recipe include Venison, Hyrule Rice, and Rock Salt.

The next step is to gather the ingredients and prepare the dish.

  • Wild: Wild can be easily hunted in the forest
  • Hyrule Rice: This is obtained by clearing the grasses in shallow waters. Alternatively, you can buy Hyrule Rice from the general store at the Lookout or in Hateno for just 12 Rupees.
  • Rock Salt: You get rock salt by mining ores in caves.

Since you can find all the ingredients relatively easily and often already have them in your inventory, you can prepare the wild rice recipe directly on the stove and give it to the exhausted Paragus. The wild rice gets Paragus back on his feet and after the conversation, Paen appears at the camp. After talking to Paen again and getting the reward in the form of the purple ruby (equivalent to 50 rubies), the “Foodie Missing” quest will be complete.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Sagono’s Mystery Walkthrough

In Hateno everything revolves around the upcoming mayoral election. In the village you not only get some quests from Sagona and Rietnar, but also from other villagers like Sophora. After talking to Sophora you will receive the quest “Sagono’s Secret”. In the quest you should follow Sagono secretly since she sneaks somewhere secretly every night and now you should get to the bottom of it. Since Sagono is very aware of her surroundings, you have to stay under cover to avoid being spotted by her. The question arises, how can you solve the quest and, above all, how can you secretly follow Sagono to solve the mystery?

Sagono’s Secret in Zelda TotK

  1. The first thing to do is wait for the night (to be precise, it sneaks out of the house at around 10:00 p.m.). If you don’t want to wait for the time, you can quickly build a campfire and wait until evening (or you can take a room and sleep until then).
  2. Hide to the right of your shop or on the roof to avoid detection. As soon as she comes out of the door, follow her at a safe distance of a few meters. In between, she stops and looks around. In that case just stay where you are and hide behind the grass until it keeps running.
  3. Then she moves into the tower, which you now have to climb up from the outside. Crawl through the opening at the top and look down. There is a short cutscene in which you can see how she tampers with the supplies.
  4. Finally, you have to visit Sophora again and you can complete the “Sagono’s Secret” quest. as a reward there are 10 armories.

In addition to “Sagono’s Secret” you also have to get to the bottom of “Rietnar’s Secret” in Hateno and see what he does in his little hut at night.

Find Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Material 243

Where to find Hyrule manual material 243 in Zelda TotK? What is hidden behind the material with the number 243? This question will perhaps concern one or the other player from the new Zelda adventure who has already spent a few hours playing in the world and is in the process of completing the Hyrule manual. There are five different categories in the Hyrule manual and this includes the materials. You can find a total of 126 different materials in the game and to find all of them, you sometimes have to search a bit. Even if you unlock many entries automatically in the course of the story by always taking a quick picture of new things using the photo mode, there are also some materials that are very difficult to find. This also includes material 243.

Material 243 in the Hyrule manual in Zelda TotK

Material 243 from the Hyrule Handbook is the sun gourd. To get the sun gourd, you have to travel to Hateno again and complete the two quests “A Hateno Specialty” and “Ume’s Crops” there. Prerequisite for the second quest is the completion of the “Object Lesson” quest, which can be started in Hateno School. After completing the two quests, you can find the sun gourds in the general store in Hateno for 20 rupees each. If you haven’t completed the quests yet, instead of the sun gourds you will find the armor gourds in the same place in the general store.

So the sun gourds are material 243 in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. If you want, you can also use the pumpkins as an ingredient for cooking, even if there are certainly better ingredients. The sun gourd restores three hearts and otherwise has no special effects. For being so hard to find, we would have expected a better bonus.

Tip: This is one of the best arcs in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Use Iwarok Heart

What can you actually do with the Iwarok heart in the new Zelda TotK? How to pick up and use the heart from the Iwarok Stone Golem? Anyone who has already explored the world a little in the new Zelda adventure will probably have walked across a meadow where a huge pile of rocks suddenly rises from the ground and runs towards you. These are the Iwaroks, who are a kind of mini boss in the new Zelda and were also in the predecessor. In addition to the question of where to find and defeat the Iwaroks, one or the other player will probably also ask the question, what can you do with the Iwarok heart that the boss opponent drops on the ground after the fight?

Find and defeat Iwarok

The Iwarok are scattered across the map, not just on the surface in the overworld, but underground as well. If you are looking for the locations of all Iwarok, we recommend taking a look at the linked interactive map of mapgenie.io. Once you find the Iwarok and the boulder stands up, you have to fight it. For this you either have to work the crystal on his head or the ore deposit behind or on his head with the weapon. So you can gradually take the life points from the mini boss and defeat them.

Iwarok Heart in Zelda TotK

By hitting the crystal or the ore deposit, you not only get useful gems such as opals, but the Iwarok also drops his stone heart after the fight. The Iwarok heart is quite large and cannot be picked up. The question arises, what can you do with the heart of the Iwarok? The heart can be combined with a weapon via synthesis and thus make it significantly stronger. For example, a basic soldier’s sword with 6x strength can be turned into a Luminous Iwarok Hammer with a strength of 27.

Find, farm and buy Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Rock Salt

Where to find the rock salt in Zelda TotK? Is there a dealer where you can buy the rock salt? In the new Zelda adventure for the Nintendo Switch, like its predecessor, there are again numerous materials that are needed for the preparation of dishes, medicine, but also as upgrade material for the armor. If you are with the great fairies and are improving your armor, you may need rock salt and ask yourself where do you get the salt in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

Farming rock salt in Zelda TotK

The rock salt can be mined relatively easily via the ore chunks. The chunks of ore not only provide precious stones such as topaz or sapphire, valuable diamonds and opals, but also flint and rock salt. The ore chunks are scattered throughout Hyrule and are mostly found in caves. A good farm spot for rock salt farming is the royal secret passage at the lookout post, where you can also find some ore deposits and other useful items such as thunder flowers.

buy rock salt

If you don’t feel like farming the rock salt, even if you can actually find it relatively easily and quickly at the right location, you can also buy rock salt. You can buy a rock salt for 12 rupees at the general store in Gerudo Town. The offer of the dealers is increased again with the blood moon, so that you can always get enough rock salt here (even if you sometimes have to wait a bit). Fashion-conscious, ___y: This is how the Ganondorf was created “to fall in love with” in Tears of the Kingdom

A recent issue of Nintendo Dream featured a developer interview on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. A section was dedicated to the antagonist Ganondorf, including his design and depiction in the game.

The interviewer notes that Tears of the Kingdom is the first game involving director Hideomaro Fujibayashi to install Ganondorf as a villain. We remember: Fujibayashi is an old series hand. He has already taken a seat in the director’s chair for the “Oracles” games, “Minish Cap”, “Skyward Sword” and “Breath of the Wild”.

“Tears of the Kingdom” solidifies Ganondorf as a character

Fujibayashi explains. “For me, Ganondorf is untouchable or something that is very difficult to touch. He is an important figure in the long history of the Zelda series. I even thought that Ganondorf was like another protagonist.” He continues: “Ganondorf is evil personified to the people of Hyrule, but he is also a “king” with his own dignity and way of thinking, as a demon king and also as King of Gerudo.”

Series producer Eiji Aonuma adds: “This is the first time that Ganondorf is seen killing on screen, which shocked me.” So far, Ganondorf has only been gently portrayed as evil, “but in my opinion he had to be that way for this world be a villain, otherwise the story wouldn’t work. “Even though I’ve been portraying Ganondorf for a long time, I think this game really solidified his character,” explains Aonuma.

As ___y as he is evil

Ganondorf’s new look is also discussed in the interview. Fujibayashi had specific wishes. He didn’t want to just make Ganondorf look violent. The designers fulfilled his wish to “make him look overwhelmingly evil while at the same time being handsome enough that both men and women would fall in love with him.”

In addition, Ganondorf was supposed to have “a strong sense of beauty and good taste” from the start. Fujibayashi explains: “We thought that he would probably be a character who places a lot of emphasis on his appearance and demonstrates his dignity and intelligence as a king, and designed him with that in mind, designing his face, his body, down to his personality Fingertips have been carefully designed, making it appear robust and ___y at the same time.”

Aonuma also adds that Ganondorf “enjoys the Japanese aesthetic.” Fujibayashi picks up on it and explains: “We incorporated something like the coolness or essence of Japanese military generals. Look at his stance with his sword and how he unsheathes it, among other movements.”

Another important aspect for the team was to show Ganondorf’s “humanity”. “We also paid very close attention to the expression on his face when he killed. We actually wondered if we should show it at all, but we thought it would make sense, so we did it.”

What did you think of the portrayal of Ganondorf in “Tears of the Kingdom”?
