Apple explained what is needed to buy a Vision Pro headset

Imagine putting on a headset and instantly being transported into a virtual world where you chat with friends, play games and explore digital worlds. That future will arrive on February 2nd when Apple’s Vision Pro headset is unveiled.

Face scanning

Apple has started sending out instructions on how to buy its new Vision Pro headset. Those who want to purchase this device receive instructions.

To order, you need an iPhone or iPad with the Face ID feature, which appeared in 2017 with the iPhone X. Using Face ID, you need to scan your head to select the appropriate headset size.

Apple uses next-level technology to provide a personalized experience for every customer. Those who pre-order the Vision Pro before February 2 must perform a face scan using Face ID on their iPhone or iPad.

Thanks to this scanning, Apple will be able to adjust the headset exactly to the size of your face. For those who wear glasses, the company has collaborated with Zeiss to create custom optical elements. They can be ordered for an additional fee by providing the latest recipe.

Try it in store

Curious shoppers will be able to experience the Vision Pro first-hand by visiting store showrooms on launch day.

Priced at around $3,499, the Vision Pro offers superior 3D visuals that set it apart from standard VR headsets.
