Change Epic Games account age?
The short answer is, no, you can’t easily change the age of an Epic Games account. Although you can change various information on the website, such as the password, the email address or the player name, there is currently no way to change or “reset” the age. If you accidentally entered the wrong age at Epic Games, you can only try to contact Epic Games support and describe the problem there in detail. In the latter case, verification of age must also be carried out, for example via ID or credit card details.
Forgot your date of birth and need to find out?
The question still arises, what can you do if you have forgotten your stated age? Is there a way to find out the date of birth in the settings or account information? We haven’t been able to find any information about age in the account information directly, but you can request and download all the data stored at Epic Games using the “Download account information” button.
- Log in to the Epic Games website and open the “General” sub-item.
- Under the “General Settings” scroll all the way down and select “Download Account Information”.
- You will then be sent a code to the email address provided, which you must enter on the website.
- You can then download the password-protected PDF file with the account information. The password for the PDF will be sent to you again by email.
