Harvest Moon The Winds of Anthos: Buy and sell animals

In the new Harvest Moon spin-off “The Winds of Anthos” you can not only plant and harvest numerous crops, but you can also buy and keep various animals. You can easily buy the animals from the animal dealers in the villages and then keep them in the stable. You can then sell the animal products, such as the eggs from the chickens, and make money. Plus, you can breed animals and sell them too, right?

Buy and sell animals

You can easily buy the animals from the animal dealers in the various villages (recognizable by the cow head symbol on the front of the house). The selection of pets varies from dealer to dealer in different villages. So you can buy the Border Collie dog from the animal dealer in the village of Lenctenbury, while you can buy the Sheltie dog in the Autumn Village. The situation is similar with other pets such as cats, rabbits or owls and ferrets, which can only be bought from certain dealers.

Sell animals?

Contrary to what you know from other farming games and also some Harvest Moon games, you cannot sell the animals. If you open the “animal book” with the animal inventory in the stable, you will see all the animals, but you can only “let go” of them. By the way, this applies to purchased animals as well as to bred and tamed animals.
