After Ubisoft closed Layla Hassan’s RPG trilogy with Valhalla, they soon revealed the future of the franchise, which we thought might not continue with the criticized RPG genre, but that will not be the case. The next installments of the acclaimed assassin franchise will have a mix, between installments that follow in the footsteps of Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, and others in the classic style.

Although, on October 12, 2023 we will be able to enjoy Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which will return to the roots of what once was Assassin’s Creed. After this launch that will take us to the Golden Age of Baghdad at the hands of Basim, there will come Assassin’s Creed Red, an RPG set in Feudal Japan. But that’s not all, since regarding the main announced deliveries, we will also have a game that will not be an RPG and that promises to be the darkest in the franchise. Yara Tabbara has not been able to confirm or deny rumors, but with these statements it seems to be clear that the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Hexe could be a witch, something top, since in the main installments we have not yet seen a solo protagonist, without the option of choose the opposite ___.

According to clues provided in the teaser itself that we extracted exclusively, Assassin’s Creed Hexe would take us to Europe, more specifically to the Holy Roman Empire of the 16th century, a time where the Catholic cleric equated witchcraft and sorcery with absolute heresy, as well that it makes sense that we could put ourselves in the shoes of a witch at that moment in history. More specifically, the Würzburg witch trials in Central Germany could be the right place, although we remind you that none of this is official at the moment.
