If you want to play Pokemon Unite with friends, you first have to add the player and add them to your friends list. On the one hand, you can add other players using their trainer ID (which, by the way, is displayed on the profile, which you can open in the main menu using the L button), but on the other hand, you can also add Nintendo Online friends directly in Pokemon Unite Invite lobby.
- Start Pokemon Unite and press the X button in the main menu.

Play Pokemon Unite for two in split screen?
