Adam Britton: Horrified Australian woman who gave her sick sister’s dog to a depraved monster to care for, reveals the shocking lies he told to get his hands on the beloved pet

EXCLUSIVE, WARNING: Graphic content

Emails from disgraced crocodile expert show how he preyed on innocent families by promising to give their dogs a good home – when in reality he planned to rape, torture and murder the animals beloved companions.

Adam Britton, 52, obtained around 42 dogs between 2020 and 2022 by browsing ads on Gumtree Australia looking for people in the Darwin area who were looking to rehome their animals.

He had alerts on his phone when a new dog went up for sale, and would quickly email owners and build relationships telling them he could give their pets a good life and that he was simply looking for a companion.

In truth, Britton was taking the dogs to ___ually abuse and kill them on camera.

The once-respected zoologist pleaded guilty in the Darwin Supreme Court on Monday to a series of charges relating to animal abuse, and possession of child exploitation material.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal one of the victims was a tan dog called Kiki, who belonged to a sick woman who was no longer able to care for her.

His family, who did not want to be identified, were horrified when Northern Territory police phoned them last year and explained Britton’s abuse. The woman’s sister said Britton “didn’t seem like that when you met him.”

Adam Britton (pictured) was a respected crocodile expert who had a sadistic interest in dogs.

Kiki (pictured) was one of Britton’s victims. His owners thought they were giving him a good home

She explained that Kiki was one of three abandoned puppies adopted by her family.

“I kept a female, my sister kept one and a mate took the boy, but my sister got sick and had to be hospitalized for a long time,” she said.

“My daughter wouldn’t have another dog in her yard as there were now almost two of them…so the only option for us was to look for a good home as we couldn’t have them both. »

Britton contacted the woman four weeks later, on September 22, 2021, and spun a web of lies – claiming that her dog had died a few months earlier and that he was looking for a companion.

“I am very interested in meeting your one and a half year old daughter with a view to providing her with a good home,” he wrote.

“I live on a five-acre plot of land in Humpty Doo, no other dogs too, so she would have the best of both worlds.” I haven’t had a dog since my last daughter died a few months ago but I miss her and need another companion.

“I can help you by giving him a great home. »

In reality, Britton owned two Swiss shepherds, Ursa and Bolt – who he also ___ually abused – and regularly purchased other dogs from the area.

Britton then told the owners that he was hooking up with Kiki and that she would have a “good home” with him.

The woman responded to Britton’s email and explained that she was only giving up Kiki because she had to, and said she was a loving dog who was afraid of people she didn’t know.

Britton responded: “I’m sorry to hear that your health prevents you from continuing to keep Kiki, this cannot be an easy decision.

“Maybe I can make things a little easier by making sure she finds a good home with me.

“I’m the type of person who wants a dog nearby all the time, otherwise the place seems empty. »

Four days later, on September 26, he sent another email to say that Kiki was “very nice” and that they were “already bonding.”

“She will have a good home here,” he added.

According to court documents, Kiki did not survive the week.

Between September 26 and 30, Britton took Kiki and two other large dogs named Rose and Marylou to a shipping container on his property and filmed himself raping and torturing each animal until they died.

The details are so horrific that Daily Mail Australia has chosen not to publish them.

On October 16, he responded to a message from the former owner who asked how Kiki was settling in.

“She is doing great,” he wrote, adding that he was happy with her and thought she was doing well in her new home.

The woman told Daily Mail Australia she was devastated by Britton’s depraved actions and questioned his decision to give Kiki to someone else.

“I just wish I had never given up on her and could have kept her somehow and made it work,” she said.

‘IIt’s absolutely horrible that a human could do this to an animal… hHe is a sick and twisted man.

Kiki was one of at least 39 dogs raped and killed by Britton. He operated two Telegram accounts called “monster” and “Cerberus” – the latter being a three-headed dog in Greek mythology – between 2020 and 2022.

He used accounts to engage with like-minded people about animal cruelty and , but his downfall came shortly after he uploaded a video called “1B***h9Pups” to a site Web on abuse on March 22, 2022.

The next day, an anonymous user noticed that the adult dog was wearing an orange leash from the city of Darwin with the slogan “Big animals start with you.”

They passed the images to the NT Animal Protection Branch via Gmail, who then referred the matter to police.

On April 22, a month after Britton posted the video online, NT Police and the Australian Federal Police raided his home in McMinns Lagoon, in Darwin’s south.

Detectives seized computers, cell phones, cameras, external hard drives, tools, weapons, dog accessories and ___ toys.

They also found severed dog limbs in a freezer, a decomposing puppy in a pond on the property and a severed dog head on a neighboring property.

Britton was charged with 37 counts of animal cruelty, 10 counts of rape or attempted rape of a dog and four counts of possession or transmission of child ___ography.

He has been in custody since his arrest and will appear in court again for sentencing on December 13.

Surprise! Three beloved Blizzard games appear unexpectedly on Battle.net, the first Diablo, Warcraft and its sequel

Although the popularity of both sagas has grown over the years, there are many who still sigh thinking about the good times they had with the first installments of Diablo or Warcraft. And there are really few platforms that allow legal access to these experiences, but Blizzard has decided to put an end to this situation. bringing three great adventures to Battle.net by surprise: the first Diablo, Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness.

The most curious thing about this phenomenon is that Blizzard has not issued any statement regarding the landing of these three games, previously only available through platforms such as GOG. Be that as it may, now the most nostalgic players (and those who wish to experience the beginnings of the Diablo and Warcraft sagas) can access the adventures already mentioned for a fairly low price, as we detail below:

  • Warcraft: Orcs & Humans – 5.99 euros
  • Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness – 9.99 euros
  • Diablo – 9.99 euros

In the case of Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and the first Diablo game, it is also worth noting that they arrive on Battle.net with their respective expansions. In this way, players have the opportunity to relive these experiences by complementing them with Beyond the Dark Portal (the extra content of the Warcraft title) and hellfire (the Diablo DLC). As a bittersweet counterpoint, however, it is important to note that all the news on the Blizzard platform they arrive in englishdespite the fact that Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness was translated into Spanish at the time.

Latest changes at Blizzard

Leaving aside the classics of Warcraft and Diablo, it is worth remembering that Blizzard is going through one of the most important moments in its history. Following Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard, the team has undergone significant changes through layoffs and the unexpected departure of President Mike Ybarra. This is also complemented by survival game cancellation which was in development for more than six years.

But the situation at Blizzard is already stabilizing. Because, as was revealed yesterday, the team already has a new president to redirect the developer. We talk about Johanna Fariesa former Activision employee with more than five years of experience in Call of Duty who will perform her new position starting February 5.
