Which ports do you have to enable in the router for the new EA Sports FC 24? Do you even have to set up port forwarding if you want to play FC 24 online? If there are problems with the online mode and multiplayer of FC 24, then there can be various reasons. A common cause is either your own internet connection or the EA servers are experiencing disruptions and therefore multiplayer is not possible. But there can also be other reasons, for example because the router is blocking the ports used by the game.
EA Sports FC 24: Set up port forwarding
In most cases, manual port unlocking is not possible if you want to play FC 24 online. If the router is in the “standard configuration”, multiplayer should also work without port forwarding. However, if you have generally blocked all ports and keep a whitelist of the permitted ports, then in the event of problems you may have to enable the ports that are used by EA FC 24.
We haven’t been able to find an official port list on the Electronic Arts website yet, but some players have published a list on Reddit. Depending on which platform you play FC 24 on, different ports in the router must be enabled and set up for port forwarding. If you can’t play FC 24 online and have problems with the multiplayer, you should set up port sharing and forward the ports to the IP address of the console.
