The most iconic Casio watch is back in a limited edition and at a very attractive price

In 1974, Casio introduced the Casiotron QW02 with a bold ambition: to introduce the world’s first digital watch with an automatic calendar. This innovation marked a small revolution in the watchmaking world, because the model was not limited to simply indicating the time, but also displayed the month, date and day of the week, automatically adjusting to variations in the months. 50 years later, Casio is celebrating this anniversary by re-releasing its first iconic digital watch in a similar form and a new name: the TRN-50.

To celebrate this 50th anniversary, this new timepiece, faithful to the DNA of the Casiotron, has the same iconic design with its original dimensions (42.7mm × 39.1mm) as well as its blue dial. The Casiotron logo under the digital screen is retained as is the gray strap. If the watch perpetuates the spirit of the Casiotron, the TRN-50 offers a new boost of modernity. It offers the possibility of connecting to smartphones via Bluetooth. The app allows you to synchronize cellular network time with the watch up to four times a day and schedule reminder alarms for five events. By pressing the button on the watch, the application activates to record the time, date, and location on a map. Additionally, it can be used to find the phone when needed.
