The big figure is already on the table and it is official: Sony has sold 50 million PS5 consoles, and no matter how you look at it, that is outrageous. By way of illustration, the November data made it clear that 46.6 million PS5s have been distributed worldwide, so the pre-Christmas push and the Black Friday boost have been noticeable. The big plan? Sell 25 million PS5s during this fiscal year and the numbers are already starting to add up.
A huge figure with a nuance: the data just offered by Sony itself is from December 9. We understand that currently the number is somewhat higher and, as Santa Claus loads his sleigh, more will appear under the Christmas trees.
