Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Multiplayer: Play in co-op with two people?

Is there actually multiplayer in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot? Can you also play the new Dragon Ball game on the PS4, Xbox One and PC in online multiplayer or in offline co-op via split-screen mode? This question may be asked by some buyers of the new DBZ Kakarot, which was released a few days ago and is receiving a number of good to very good reviews not only from the press, but also from players. The question of multiplayer arises mainly because many older Dragon Ball games such as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 also included multiplayer, where you can compete against friends or other players and prove your skills. But what about the current title and what is possible in terms of multiplayer?

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: online multiplayer or offline co-op?

Even though the gameplay of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot would certainly lend itself to online multiplayer or offline co-op for two on one console, the game does not have multiplayer, at least when it is released. You cannot play the game online or offline with friends on a console in split screen. This applies to both the console version on PS4 and Xbox One as well as the PC version of the game. Currently, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is a purely single-player experience that you can only experience alone and not online or locally with friends. According to reports, there is currently no multiplayer mode planned for the game, so you probably shouldn’t have the highest hopes for this.

If, contrary to expectations, something changes on the topic and an update with a multiplayer mode is released for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, then we will of course add the information to this article.
