Batman: Gotham City Chronicles season 3: an incredible delivery delay and a vote


We told you about it a few months ago: the late pledge for season 3 of the game Batman: Gotham City Chronicles has ended and now, we are waiting for the delivery of the precious game boxes. Initially announced for the month of September 2023, we suspected that these deadlines would not be respected, but it is now official: the delay will be more than substantial.

Monolith board games recently communicated on the progress of the project, and it appears that the team is undergoing changes and that knowledge transfer takes time on such a vast project. Between sample validations, translations and proofreading, the steps are long and time flies. For the final phase of printing, assembling, packaging and loading the games onto the ships, Monolith board games is aiming for mid-January 2024 with delivery from March 2024.

Still for the sake of transparency, Monolith points out that this season 3 will be the last project to benefit from the old working method. This means that for future projects, they will launch the Kickstarters AFTER the development phasean approach they applied to Orcquest: Warpath successfully (campaign in February, delivery in October).

At the same time, we can vote on one of the digital scenarios unlocked during the campaign. A first vote had decided that this scenario would take place in the bank. It is now time to choose the poster of the meeting.

Voting ends September 15, 2023. This delay is a small disappointment for those, like me, who can’t wait to get their hands on the new rules, game aids and above all, on the Gotham City in Flames expansion.

There is a multiplayer mode for Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles thanks to its versus mode.

Versus mode is basically all about fighting another player in action similar to Dragon Ball FighterZ. It has many arenas and playable characters available, and the combat is incredibly stylish and colorful.

You will only be able to compete against one other player and you will need a PS Plus membership for PlayStation.

Does Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles have cross-platform multiplayer?

SEGA has not announced any crossplay or cross-platform multiplayer for Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles.

However, the feature does not appear to be in-game as it is not among the tags listed on Steam and the Microsoft store. Both platforms typically mark cross-platform action when included, so its absence suggests you can’t play on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

PvP sofa

While the lack of cross-play is disappointing, the good news is that the game does support couch / local PvP action.

This means that you will be able to fight against a friend in a two player fight from the same Xbox / PC console. This is great news because it means you both won’t need to purchase the game to enjoy versus mode together.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Official works -Aionios Moments- announced; Released April 1, 2024

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have officially announced the Xenoblade 3 Chronicles art book! It will be called Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Official Artworks -Aionios Moments- and will include 448 pages of illustrations from the base game and the expansion. Future Redeemed. Considering Xenoblade 2 Chronicles received a similar artbook, it was only a matter of time before Xenoblade 3 Chronicles I had the same thing.

Xenoblade 3 Chronicles was officially released worldwide on July 29, 2022. The game depicts the future of the worlds of Xenoblade Chronicles And Xenoblade 2 Chronicles. Familiar faces, places, and themes have appeared in the game, alongside a whole new group of characters and a whole new world to explore: Aionios. The game focuses heavily on themes of life, loss, and the future.

A DLC expansion was released in April, titled Future Redeemed. This expansion saw the return of protagonists Shulk and Rex. Additionally, answers regarding the Trinity processor were revealed, making the game the highlight of the Xenoblade Chronicles series so far. In our review of the game, we said it was “full of heart, soul, and decades of passion.” The game features over 150 hours of content, allowing players to explore at their leisure.

Last year, a standard version and a limited edition of the Xenoblade 3 Chronicles the soundtrack has been announced. The limited edition is sold out and was released on July 29. The standard edition was released on August 1. Additionally, the Trinity box set was announced, featuring music from Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, Xenoblade Chronicles Future Connected, Xenoblade 2 Chronicles, Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Land, Xenoblade 3 ChroniclesAnd Xenoblade Chronicles 3: The Future Redeemed. This box set contains 20 CDs and hundreds of tracks covering the entire series. It was also released on July 29.

Xenoblade 3 Chronicles and its expansion, Future Redeemed, are both out now. The series is fully available on Nintendo Switch exclusively. It was recently announced that the Noah and Mio amiibo would be available for purchase on January 19, 2024.
