The dazzling final trailer for ‘Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire’ offers a ‘Lethal Weapon’ with giant monsters in the definitive crossover of the Monsterverse


Warner has published the new trailer in Spanish for ‘Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire’, the epic battle of the cinematic Monsterverse from Legendary Pictures that resumes the explosive confrontation of ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ with a totally new adventure that It is finally released in Spain on March 27, 2024 only in theaters, not like the previous installment that went to HBO Max.

An ___L size friendship

The new film pits the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal threat yet to be discovered that lurks in our world, endangering its own existence… and ours. ‘Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire’ will delve even deeper into the stories of these titans and their origins, as well as in the mysteries of Skull Island and many others. At the same time, he reveals to us the mythical battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and linked them forever with humanity.

Once again, the director Adam Wingard returns to take control of this great adventure, which is starring Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns and Fala Chen. The script is the work of Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett and Jeremy Slater, from a story by Rossio and Wingard & Barrett. Executive producers are Wingard, Jen Conroy, Jay Ashenfelter, Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.

Once again, Wingard collaborates with director of photography Ben Seresin, production designer Tom Hammock, editor Josh Schaeffer and costume designer Emily Seresin. The composers are Tom Holkenborg and Antonio Di Iorio. ‘Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire’ is the fifth official Monsterverse moviewhich is expanding on television with ‘Monarch: Legacy of the Monsters’ on Apple TV, although it has nothing to do with the tremendous ‘Godzilla: Minus One’.

Matt Reeves and the creator of ‘Boardwalk Empire’ prepare a spin-off for HBO Max

The new cinematic Batman is positioning himself as the great bet of Warner’s DC films and beware because he is on the way to having his own Batverse on television. HBO Max has announced the arrival of a series that will keep company at the 2021 premiere of Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’.

Reeves is working with Terence Winter, creator of the wonderful ‘Boardwalk Empire’ to make a series that will expand the universe of villains and corruption that exist in the city of Gotham. What is the basis of the treatment that the filmmaker promises for the film.

And, truth be told, it is one of the genres that best suits the masked detective. And that they have signed Winter to do a television spin-off me seems incredibly successful for anything that has to do with corruption schemes, mafias and Gotham underworld. As Reeves says:

The Batverso arrives

Inside me I can’t stop thinking about a ‘Gotham’ more like ‘Gotham Central’ than what FOX offered us throughout its five seasons. An exploration of the darkest and most street part of the city can be a very worth seeing series.

Warnermedia has yet to give more details on this new series, but I imagine that having Comic-Con around the corner and a fan event next August we will soon know more about both ‘The Batman’ and its television spin-off.

What they do promise is that its premiere will mean the launch of a new Batman universe across multiple platforms. What that means for series like ‘Titans’ or if this indicates new video game sagas is anyone’s guess.
