Fae Farm: Growing Flowers

How do you actually grow flowers in the new Fae Farm? What do you have to consider when “flower breeding” and how can you cross two flowers to get a new type of flower? These are the questions that one or two players of the new cozy game from Phoenix Labs may have been dealing with over the past few days, who either want to grow the pink flower for a quest or just want to grow flowers. In this short guide we will show you how to cross two types of flowers and unlock a new type of flower.

Breeding and crossing flowers

Growing flowers works similarly to other cozy and farmer games, where you can also cross-breed flowers. All you have to do is plant two different flower seeds in a flower bed and leave a space in the middle. In the free field between the flower, a crossing is created between the flowers on the left and the right side (or above and below).

As an example for the pink flower: the red flower on the left, leave it free in the middle (where the pink flower will later grow), and the white flower on the right

Buy flower seeds for crossbreeding flowers

The first flower seeds can be bought from Rosalind in Oststadt. The good Rosalind sells the following three flower seeds on offer.

seeds Description Price
Red rose seeds
  • Water 4 times
  • plant in flowerbed
  • Red rose
10 florins
White Lily Seeds
  • Water 4 times
  • plant in flowerbed
  • White flower
10 florins
Yellow tulip seeds
  • Water 4 times
  • plant in flowerbed
  • yellow flower
10 florins

Later in the game, once you unlock the elf village, you can buy more flower seeds from Asphodel. These include the three following flowers.

seeds Description Price
Blue hyacinth seeds
  • Water 4 times
  • plant in flowerbed
  • blue fairy flower
45 florins
Green Zinnia Seeds
  • Water 4 times
  • plant in flowerbed
  • green fairy flower
45 florins
Magenta Forest Lily Seeds
  • Water 4 times
  • plant in flowerbed
  • magenta fairy flower
45 florins

For example, to grow the pink flower, you need to buy a red rose seed and a white lily seed. Now plant the two seeds on the left and right of a field of three and leave a field free in the middle. With a bit of luck, the hybrid flower will grow in the middle after a few days (sometimes it takes longer), like the pink flower in this case. The resulting hybrid flower and its seeds can then be purchased at the planting table after activation.

Epic Games Store’s share in the PC games market is growing

Epic Games Store is slowly gaining ground on the market.

IN LETTER:

  • Epic Games Store controls approximately 15% of the PC gaming market;
  • success is due to a good, aggressive strategy;
  • Tim Sweeney believes that giving away free games benefits both his company and developers.
  • Tim Sweeney – head of Epic Games – recently gave an interview to GameSpot. One of the topics of the conversation was Epic Games Store. It turns out that the platform in question is doing quite well – it already controls about 15% of the PC gaming market. According to Tim Sweeney, this is the result of a well-thought-out, aggressive strategy.

We quickly realized that we had to adopt a really, really bold and market-changing strategy, which is why free games and exclusive titles were launched. We knew a lot of this stuff would be controversial in some ways, especially for hardcore Steam players who have bought hundreds of games there and want to buy all of their games on this platform, ‘said Tim Sweeney.

Interestingly, the head of Epic Games is convinced that the free games program also helps … developers and publishers.

If you don’t like games like Satisfactory you aren’t going to spend your money to buy Satisfactory. But if you get them for free, you’ll realize it’s an amazing game. People discovered a lot of great productions in this way.

It was good for game developers. Most developers whose games could be obtained for free in the store said their Steam and console sales had indeed increased because they were offered for free on Epic due to increased awareness. It’s a really positive development that brought tens of millions of new users to the Epic Games ecosystem, which was great for the company, Tim Sweeney said.

It was not without controversy – for some PC players the Epic Games Store is currently enemy number one, which Tim Sweeney finds quite funny.

It’s funny to be seen this way. It’s like ‘Rawrr! They are all our enemies ”- noted the head of Epic Games.
