I’ve seen the dark side of Palworld: you can capture, sell and kill humans without limits. And it’s not the worst of all


In the few days that Palworld has been on sale, it has already left us with some very curious anecdotes. The survival adventure is characterized by the fact of capturing and training the Pals, in addition to putting them to work in each one’s base to take care of and monitor it. However, they are not the only beings that inhabit this immense open world, since they also there are humans.

You can capture Pals with Pal Spheres, like Pokémon’s Poké Balls. Of course, it turns out that they are not the only ones you can catch with them, which has made me realize that the game hides a rather shady dark side. And it turns out that you can throw one of these objects at humans themselves to capture them and add them to the collection.

What’s more, capturing them causes them to become like any of the Pals, which means that you can enslave them and place them in the base to help you with any of the tasks. It’s not that they do much, since they don’t have special skills, but at least something is something. Even so, the situation may go even further.

Another option that exists is to trade with them, because you can visit merchants and traffic with humans, since you can sell and in exchange they give you 500 coins for each one of them. Or directly, instead of doing any of the steps indicated above, you can kill them and get out of trouble, although if they are neutral you run the risk of being searched and captured.

Between one thing and another, it is clear that the game has a somewhat wild, brutal and dark component, but there is even more. You can see the worst of this whole matter in the following video, in which you can see that the captured humans you can dismember them completely to turn them into food, thus turning your character into a cannibal. Anyway, if that matters little to you, at least you will have something to feed the character or the Pals.

Building Sims 4 stair railings on one side: Is that possible?

Anyone who has built their dream house in The Sims 4 will certainly have built a staircase in the house and provided it with a banister. If you place the stair railing on the stairs, it will automatically be placed on both sides. Depending on what you want to do with the stairs and how they are installed in the house, you sometimes want to only install the staircase on one side, but how does that work?

The Sims 4: Staircase railing only on one side?

If you have built a staircase and only want the banister on one side, you will probably initially try to do this by holding down the shift key or using other key combinations. Unfortunately, this is not as easy as it is possible, for example, when building a roof and creating roof sides of different lengths. But there is a “trick” with which you can make the stair railing in the Sims 4 one-sided and it works like this.

  1. Build a staircase with a banister.
  2. Build the same staircase again with the same railing right next to the stairs.
  3. If you now remove the middle banister, then on the first staircase there will only be the banister on one side.
  4. Finally, you can now remove the second staircase and move the first staircase with the one-sided railing to the desired position.

Update: Since around mid-2021, the trick described above no longer seems to work. If you remove the middle stair railing, it will no longer stay on the other side. We don’t know exactly in which update the “bug” was fixed, but it is probably no longer usable.

The trick described above currently only works because it is a bug. For this reason, it may well be that the trick for building a single-sided railing on a staircase will no longer work in the future as the bug has been fixed. We discovered the “trick” in the linked forum post and it still works perfectly to this day.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Dream On: Open the Secret Room (Side Mission)

As soon as you got the call, you will find the Peralez apartment in Charter Hill. Use the intercom to the right of the door to get in, then drive up to the penthouse. Use the one on the left and look at the last mail under Messages. In it you will find a code: 6709.

With this code you go to the terminal in the middle of the room. Look at everything, under Local Network you will find a door that you can open from here, which of course you do. Go back upstairs and the hidden door will be open. Go into the secret room and you will find a huge overgrown room. Here you collect everything and mainly scans the computer in the middle of the room. Lots of cables lead from him up to the roof. Scans the cables. Climb up the ladder and open the skylight above you. There the cables go on and lead to an old transmitter. Thanks to Johnny, he’ll tell you that the criminals you’re looking for must be nearby. Scan the direction in which the antenna is pointing and a little further down the street you will see an antenna through the scan – otherwise rather not. This is your goal and will also be marked on the map.

But first speak to Elizabeth again below. Then you leave the apartment as you came. The surveillance vehicle is a little way down the street in the north-west direction and then around the corner. Now save once.
