Pokémon Legends ZA: What does the word ‘soeyue’ mean in the game’s first trailer? This is the secret message of the Unown

During the first Pokémon Presents of 2024, Pikachu fans encountered a series of mysterious messages from the Unown, creatures that first appeared in the Johto region. During the last few hours, players have tried to decipher that message, but have not succeeded… until now.

It is possible that until we have it, we will not really know what the Unown message means. However, through social networks, some interpretations have begun to emerge that make sense with what was presented in the Pokémon Presents broadcast.

For some players, Soeyue would be the name of the Kalos region before the events of . This theory has support with what happens with the Hisui region in , which is renamed Sinnoh in .

For other Internet users, soeyue is an anagram, so the phrase that the Unown indicate is “see you” (see you or until next time): a farewell at the end of Pokémon Presents. This theory indicates that, at the beginning of the transmission, the Unown themselves form the phrase: Pokémon Presents. Therefore, these phrases are more of a message to be deciphered or a clue from Pokémon Legends ZA.
