The Rolex watch worn by Roger Federer at Wimbledon is one of the most beautiful of 2023

Roger Federer caused a sensation at Wimbledon on Tuesday July 4. The tournament wanted to pay tribute to him by inviting him to the Royal Box, alongside the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton. The mint green of Prince William’s wife did not eclipse the class of Roger Federer’s beige suit (imitated the next day by a certain David Beckham who opted for the same color for his Ralph Lauren model).

In the alleys of Wimbledon as in the Royal Box at Center Court, Roger Federer charmed everyone. And obviously, he chose premium accessories for his first appearance as a retired tennis player in London. Despite the rain, the 42-year-old Swiss had carefully chosen his sunglasses. A pretty Oliver Peoples model, of which he has been an ambassador since last April, named Finley 1993 Sun and which sports a color which responds to the sweet name of “cherry blossom”. This pair of glasses is not cheap, 425 euros, but it is a very good choice. Just like the one on his watch.

The gold watch worn by David Beckham at Wimbledon is a rare model that you absolutely need

David Beckham is an icon in England and every year he enjoys incredible success when he arrives in the Royal Box at Wimbledon. This was again the case on Wednesday July 5, 24 hours after a certain Roger Federer.

The Swiss player returned for the first time since announcing his retirement in September 2022 on Tuesday July 4. Eight-time winner of the Wimbledon tournament (a record, which will be equaled by Novak Djokovic if the Serbian wins this 2023 edition), Roger Federer had chosen a beige suit, a white and blue striped shirt, a pair of Oliver Peoples glasses with frames “cherry blossom” color and a beautiful Rolex Sky-Dweller watch for the occasion. David Beckham did the same, more or less.

The former English football international, 48, also chose beige, but only for his jacket. His pants were lighter, close to white. Like his shirt. A fashion combo made in Ralph Lauren, all in all, very classic for a day in the Royal Box at Wimbledon. David Beckham nevertheless enhanced it with a pocket square and a brown tie. Not forgetting sunglasses and a… green watch. Yes, Victoria’s husband’s watch is indeed green.

A gold Tudor watch with a green dial for David Beckham

Ambassador of the Tudor brand, David Beckham could have chosen the Black Bay 58 bronze model with a brown dial, just to continue his brown lineage. However, he chose another timepiece, with a green dial, undoubtedly to pay homage to Wimbledon (you are probably aware that the English grand slam tournament is played on grass). Or maybe (and also) because he prefers gold to bronze. David Beckham indeed wore the Black Bay 58 18K, this 18 K meaning that the case is in 18 carat gold.

The luxury watch worn by Charles Leclerc at Wimbledon is an iconic model that always makes a strong impression

After a disappointing ninth place at the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc extended his stay in England to watch tennis. With his partner and his friend Pierre Gasly (elegantly dressed in Ralph Lauren and also came with his girlfriend), he attended the round of 16 at Wimbledon. Invited to the stands of Center Court, he attended the match of Novak Djokovic, winner in four tight sets against Pole Hubert Hurkacz. Tennis fan, Charles Leclerc did not hide his joy, showing himself to be very demonstrative throughout the meeting. Accomplice with Pierre Gasly, he spent a lovely afternoon in London. With a hell of a watch on his wrist.

Like the Ferrari team, for which he competes in the Formula 1 world championship, Charles Leclerc is under contract with Richard Mille. Obviously, he wore a model from the Swiss watch brand, the RM 72-01. This very popular timepiece is available in several versions and it is the titanium one that the F1 driver chose. The exact name of the watch is: RM 72-01 Automatic Winding Lifestyle Flyback Chronograph Titanium. Extended by a white rubber strap, the Richard Mille watch displays three numbers on the dial: 3, 8 and 11. Why then? “Three times for three new counters which immediately attract all eyes. The hands dance in rhythm within these three stylized time scales (blue for the small seconds, orange for the minutes, green for the hours) coordinated by a 6-column wheel,” indicate the creators of this chronograph.
